Use SmartSheet to share information with a Team of people.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is how easy it is to share information with other individuals. Not only so but the icons and menus are easy to use and navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have only used Smartsheet to upload and share information and communicate with others. One thing that I didn't like is when I uploaded document or add a comment by accident, I can't delete it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love the fact that information is shared in the platform and only those who have access can see it. I like that information shared is confidential.
Great Tool for Timelines and Templates
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and integrate within your project process. The predecessor column is extremely useful when changes come up during the timeline. It is also a great way to templatize a timeline and let all dependencies adjust according to the start or change date.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be tough sometimes to add and remove line items from an ongoing timeline without having to adjust all predecessors. Also would be great to have a view for users that do not have access to SmartSheet, view only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps keep the team on track and understand where we are in any given project. Makes my job easier when roadblocks occurs and timeline have to be adjusted.

What do you like best about the product?
Reminders and automation are super useful. Now that I found dynamic view, that has been really useful for workflows also. I have implemented it for project management, as well as for a request form that has been very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to have multiple tabs in a single sheet, which would then give the ability to also archive information into a new tab in the same sheet and not have to create a new sheet. A lot of the features feel hidden and you need to extensively search for forums/videos to figure out how to do things. The attachments row is REALLY small and sometimes hard to see, especially since the cell doesn't automatically get a color or something more visible to indicate something is there. Have not been able to find a way to do the kind of scheduling automation that I need, but this is also tied to not having multiple tabs and not wanting 30+ individual sheets (just some of the ways of inputting, calculating, and manipulating data that excel offers)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminating tons of emails by having users submit a form; being able to automate reminders for deadlines.
Smartsheet integration with DocuSign
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet ease of integration with DocuSign. Exporting documents into DocuSign works very well. The integration is used daily with several teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Importing documents out of DocuSign into smartsheet is not available. This is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlinies business process freeing users time for other tasks.
Smartsheet can efficiently track and monitor projects with ease.
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy utilizing the different smartsheet views after compiling relevant data in the task list. It is nice to have options that are easily implemented and quick to integrate into any existing project. The customizable views are also nice to manage and tailor to the situations at hand. I enjoy that there are usually several smartsheet community threads that I can read when others have similar problems and customer support provides great feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is no way to merge rows or columns, which would better communicate groupings and shared information. I also wish there were more options to display data in dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps delegate and track tasks for projects of all phases, whether they are quick tasks or multiphase projects. It helps serve as a task list and maintain current statuses on action items needed for product launch. It helps me display critical timeline data to executive management to help guide their decision making.
User Friendly and extremely collaborative
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy and simple it is to manuver in smartsheets, as a first time user i find it very helpful to keep track of my projects. the automations are extremly helpful and accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far there is nothing i dont like, i've been able to trak my projects successfully
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have over 200 ongoing projects, and smartsheets has been a great tool to track all those projects, along with leasing requesting which are mostly sent via email, and part of my job is to make sure we track them on smartsheets, and so far i've been able to do a great job, thanks to smartsheets
Differentiated from excel for project management and organization
What do you like best about the product?
The organization of work spaces, gantt chart ability, assigning tasks through the platform, tagging users through the platform and triggering emails
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a useful financial modeling platform, folks are generally less experienced in it required kick-off calls or additional user training
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing workstreams on complex projects or transactions across multiple teams and deadlines
Great project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share project plans and sheets with users internally and externally without them needing a license. The diversity of templates and ways you can use SmartSheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a steep learning curve even for frequent MS Excel users, and you really need to study the system in order to get the full benefit of the range of templates and types of sheets, reports and dashboards you can create.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to create a project plan and provide viewing access to other parties that don't need a license to access the information.

Ease of use, integration and a number of features as as dashboards, forms and view styles

I like the flexibility of it and the way I can tailor solutions to specific problems

I initially bought Smartsheet for its Gantt chart capability, but very disappointed that it doesn't accurately import from MS Project
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows my project team to collaborate and have access to common data. Manages critical communications.
