Great tool to use for a variety of tasks!
What do you like best about the product?
Smarsheet has a lot of great uses! I love the ability to create customizable forms whose data automatically populate into a spreadsheet. At one point, we used Smartsheet as our job application system. The logic in the forms make it easy to set up even the most complex of forms. Additionally, I love the templates that Smartsheet provides rather than having to create something from scratch. The project management and dashboard features make tracking and monitoring projects a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can take a while to get into Smartsheet. It has a long loading wait time. Also, some of the permission labels are misleading. Recently, one of my coworkers assume I had editing access to a form because I had Editor access. She had to give me admin access in order for me to edit form fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to easily create surveys and forms using Smartsheet so that we can report on data points.
Love smartsheet and I feel like I am just scratching the surface. Powerful product for automation,
What do you like best about the product?
The custom reports and dashboards are fantastic. I love being able to share ONLY the relevant information to the right audience but keep everything in one single source of truth. It has been a game changer. I use it every single day.
What do you dislike about the product?
When data in reports are changed, you need to refresh to see any format or re ordering. This is kind of clunky. Permission groups could be owned or admined by more than one person for efficiency purposes as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping a single source of truth and being able to share information tailored to the reader and hiding sensitive information. Automating multiple reports all produced with one single smartsheet, where before we had to build all of these manually.
Excellent project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smarthseets is an excellent project management tool. It has great visulazation tools. Data is able to be segmented by users which is a benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found any downsides yet. So far this product meets our organiztions needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I utilzate smarthseets for both high level project management and for delegation of tasks to individuals for workflow.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the similarity to excel but online connection. As someone who has lots of expertise in excel it was easy for me to create and implement project management systems and platforms for complex projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest dislike waas small things related to navigation honestly. Moving back and fourth between lots of sheets I'd find myself in different projects than I thought I was because the back button or exit put me in different places than anticipated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets was mostly helping organization and communication across multiple team members. We are using it to manage and track installs across many different large complicated projects and it did a great job at it.
User Friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
I can easily access and share with coworkers.
What do you dislike about the product?
If working on a tablet/iPad, then be careful with the cells deleting or shifting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Updating and bug fixes!
Great tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about SS is using predeccessors and durations to map out workflows and timelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to do roll ups for sections within the unit roll up. I often have a need to have a secondary label within the larger unit. I also find copying and pasting to be finicky at times, especially across sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet makes it easy to assign someone a task and have automatic notificaitons go to them about the task. Additionally, I appreciate being able to communicate with the team about specific deliverables by tagging them on that specific task line. Also, the duration features and ability to plan for holidays and weekends automatically are very useful.
Colaboration Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way you can email a row of a sheet to someone to update or to update them directly. i love the way the email that goes out looks. it looks user friendly and inviting to figure out. Im still exploring, but I have enjoyed the process. So far I have had good support and there are plenty of tutorials and write ups from users out there to help with questions ive had.
What do you dislike about the product?
still trying to figure out automation. i also dont like that one document cannot have tabs. I dont want to create a whole new file everytime i want to work on a monthy type of task that involves collaboration. Maybe there is a way to automate that process and keep the same sharing etc. maybe even send out an email with a link to the new sheet thats created dependant on a date or something like that?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keeping data in one place and giving me the ability to ping someone when its their turn to work on a task etc.
It a good replacement for Microsoft Project Professional but have less features comparatively
What do you like best about the product?
Its simpler to user comparatively and UI/UX is better .
What do you dislike about the product?
Less features comparatively, I still find timeline view of MPP much user friendly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IT helps me a senior project manager defining the project activities, dependencies, milestones, durations, delayed activities, and completion dates. It will also provide a clear Gantt chart for the project
Perfect for Dynamic Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ever-growing selection of project management tools allowing for the management of complex schedules.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some fo the tools remain simple and lack the complexity of what can be found in similar ooferings such as Microsoft Project. Automations are well executed, but options are limited as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows our team to document project progress, manage action items, and allocate resources all in the same program.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the power and convenience of using the Smartsheet API to collect sheet data for use in custom reports, dashboards, and live monitors. Smartsheet enables high visibility of our processes by putting the data in our hands.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet looks and feels like many other spreadsheet editors, which is very inviting, but users must break certain habits in order to use this software most effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us a convenient and inexpensive means of entering data for any number of processes/applications and allows us to centralize that data, which empowers us to create agile and flexible solutions to issues that may have required separate, special integration otherwise.
