streamlining workflow and enhance productivity
What do you like best about the product?
A fantastic tool for keeping track records of multiple tasks and helps to manage daily activities. It is great for managing project timeline, helps in organizing assigned social media tasks and communicating with the teams. I can easily schedule various projects and assign to the teammates. It is simple to use, very collaborative and easy to create special forms for my team. Overall, It helps to boost productivity from ground level to the upper and helpful in business grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike it but some improvements could be better like the ease of setting up main page, show up first options of choosing all projects or sheets when I login into smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to stay organized and delivering my task before the deadline. Also it helps me for planning out my work, managing workflow, keeping track of ongoing projects. using form features i can easily fetch data from teams to check the project status also its automatic reminder feature helped us to delivered project on time and made our team work better together.

I like the reporting features and dashboards that are really helpful for a quick overview of the progress.

Some functionalities lack in mobile apps as compared to the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides an easy platform where I can track deadlines, tasks. Also, the dashboards and reports help me in getting a better view of the project progress.
Changing collaborative environment

It has user friendly interface.

A Must-Have for Complex Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has become an essential tool in my project management workflow, particularly when managing large, complex projects involving multiple project managers. I was introduced to Smartsheet in my last job, and enjoyed using it so much, I rolled it out into my next job organizationally! It is one of the primary tools I am in almost every day. It's also extremely easy to champion in order to bring others into the fold of using it.
One of the key benefits I find as a Senior Project Manager, who has been in and out of digital tools for over 10 years, is how easy it is to use, even for those new to project management software. Smartsheet’s intuitive design allows me to quickly set up timelines, track tasks in ways that match how I work and how I work with my clients (from high-level client-facing to granular internal facing), and adjust milestones and deadlines manually, or through helpful automation —all without getting overwhelmed. Once everything is set up, it makes my job easy and efficient, so my time can be used on doing what I do best -- managing all sorts of technical projects!
Smartsheet's ability to forecast timelines into the future of my projects, as well as provide visuals, like leveraging the Gantt views pretty often, gives me a better understanding of where I may encounter project bottlenecks or risks, even before they happen, which is critical when dealing with high-stakes, multifaceted projects as I do.
Additionally, the wealth of references, templates, and support resources has been invaluable to me. From what was used as just a project timeline, over time, has shifted to include ways to incorporate other project management tools such as: Risk Registers, Resource Planning and Management, Decision Tracking, and much more.
The new-ish addition of Smartsheet University has been great for me to find new ways to manage my projects efficiently and find even more ways to use Smartsheet. I've also enjoyed how workign with Smartsheet streamlines collaboration, making it easy for multiple project managers, and even other subject matter experts, to work within their respective areas while keeping everything organized and on track, and keeping everyone informed.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet excels in many areas, it isn’t without its shortcomings. One area for improvement is interactivity. At times, the UI can feel a bit cumbersome, especially when managing multiple layers of data, or interacting with extensive sheets. Building dashboards, though the concept is a good idea, I find it not as visually appealing and easy, as say , leveraging something like Google Slides + Sheets.
Having smoother, more interactive elements—like better drag-and-drop functionality or a more visually appealing dashboard—would greatly enhance the experience.
Moreover, while Smartsheet offers integrations, the current scope could benefit from expansion. Deeper and more seamless integrations with widely-used project management tools like GitHub, Jira, and Confluence would make the platform even more powerful, especially for cross-functional teams working in Agile or development environments. These additions would enhance workflow automation and eliminate the need for switching between multiple platforms.

Not using cumbersome tools such as spreadsheets, MS Project, and other limiting software that I have used to manage projects and people. I have my own area of workspaces, based on clients, with all the information and documentation I need in primarily one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to use and easy to gras, easy implementation, great customer support and use it everyday for PM , and mainly use the sheets for tracking attendance travel and took about 2 weeks to integrate to my work

What do you like best about the product?
What I love about Smartsheet is how flexible and easy it is to use for managing projects. Real-time updates keep everyone on the same page, and I really appreciate being able to customize workflows and automate tasks. Plus, it integrates well with tools like Google Drive and Microsoft Office, which makes collaborating a lot smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I dislike about Smartsheet is that some of the advanced features, like reporting, could be more intuitive. Also, while the platform is functional, the user interface and visuals could use a refresh to make it feel more modern and visually appealing.

It helps keep all project staff on the same page. Also helps with meeting deadlines.

What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet is always open on my screen and I use it all day long It allows me to keep my team organized and current on due dates. It is simple to use and can be personalized to suit our team needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not like about SmartSheet is that the output is boring. I would like to see more color options, more font options, more layout options and more professional appearing reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The due dates for my projects are mandatory. When I add a due date to my SmartSheet I know that it will not be missed.

It allows the management of service processes and workflows, and ultimately generates statistical data as a result of these operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
It causes issues when multiple users work on the same management sheet simultaneously (if they access it under a single admin account).

Smartsheet helps us streamline the management of patient referrals for surgeries, ensuring that we can efficiently track their progress through the entire care cycle. It benefits us by improving internal controls, allowing us to monitor each step of the process—from initial referral to the patient's complete preparation for surgery—more effectively. This leads to better organization and reduces the chances of errors or delays in patient care.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to set automatic notifications when changes are made in a sheet
What do you dislike about the product?
That does not alert when someone export sheets, leaving a window open for Data loss or information leakage
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To have all the Information and Database sstem in one place
Smartsheet a satisfactory "corporate" solution for collaboration and project planning
What do you like best about the product?
The biggest competitive advantage was the ability to share sheets externally and internally (at the firm) and still allow them to edit the sheets without a paid user license. (Though for internal users that capability will be gone in the new licensing model)
What do you dislike about the product?
As much of a benefit smartsheet has kept it simple and the ui not be too "cartoonish" unlike their competitors. It would be nice if it was an option i.e. Monday.com.

My primary use case for Smartsheet is to help with Portfolio Management/ Planning and also monthly reports to management.
