Good Way to Track for EHS Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like its functionality. I like how it is able to keep track of tasks on a very easily visible dashboard. I like how we are able to create different sheets for different tracking purposes. We use it for a lot of differet tasks, and it is my one-stop go to for logging different items. This helps with ease of usage. I like how I can click and drag photos and PDFs in with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a first time user, it can be a little difficult in figuring out how to generate excel spreadsheet reports.

Helping me keep track of all action items assigned to me.

The best team worksheet application for businesses and projects
What do you like best about the product?
The sheet allows multiple edits and users at the same time allowing everyone to contribute up to date information

Issues with formating custom sheets and how that changes with version changes

The ability for multiple departments to all share and update one location to be on the same page for the duration of the project.
Easy to use and collaborate with
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to collaborate with teams. I find it a bit difficult to collaborate on Google spreadsheet, so for anything complex project sharing, Smartsheeet is better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that there is some learning curve. The more you use, the better it will be but as someone who is not smart with excel type of spreadsheet, it can take some time to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboraing projects with differen teams and assigning tasks to each other.
Usefulness for foundation grants
What do you like best about the product?
I like the project management aspects and how Smartsheet is adding more CRM features that are at the moderate to experienced user level. The trainings that are available are helpful as reminders when one forgets which formulas are best suited for which needs. I used this recently and stumbled across a different way to track awarded grants--super helpful. It is fairly easy to use and the addition of new templates for different aspects and different level of tracking are incredibly helpful, depending on which level your needs are at. I have not needed much customer support, but we have made a community group that asks questions when they run into issues. For my job, I'm using Smartsheet daily and now helping to manage our MGOs Foundation Engagement Sheet. Integrating other products like Google Sheets is nice, as it doesn't require much effort. And, implementing the sheets we've created is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our office is working with a CRM that needs better reporting in real-time. While Smartsheet is working in this area, it's not quite at the level we need. I really want Smartsheet to increase this capability. One thing I'd like to change is being able to move a Sheet under a different category instead of keeping it where you have it. That's one feature that would be nice instead of copying the sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, Smartsheet has helped our office with providing a structure for Grants Management and Managing MGOs Foundation Onboarding. It's given us convenient features and tutorials to work with as well as providing a sample template for us to work with, which saved so much time and energy. What I thought it would also help with was how to project sales for foundations and it didn't quite do that but it alluded to it. It helped me want to learn more about these features and how Smartsheet can fill in the gap while we're looking for something our Associate Director of Growing Resource Opportunities is happy with.
Awesome Project Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is that I can see a very clear breakdown of my pending projects in a time order
What do you dislike about the product?
First, the sheet has no scroll bar for the horizon. No searching for the attachment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get to put all of the projects and the due time in one sheet and visualize them as the order of priority.
Smartsheets is user friendly and easy to understand
What do you like best about the product?
I like how things are color coordinated when writing fourmulas. When first starting out, this was a nice way to see how things are connected and it was easy to see where I went wrong. I like how easy it is to set up automations and conditions. The AI function has been helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that there is a link to the sheet on the bottom of the email that is sent to staff when you request an update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheets for employee tracking. I put in start & end dates, class dates, links for documents, and comments on staff education. I use this sheet to feed into a dashboard that shows where staff are in thier orientation phases. I also use the sheet to send out automations for education when staff hit a certain date. I used the mapping option to send out documents that are indivudalized.
Great, versatile tool with many uses
What do you like best about the product?
Using smartsheet to help our new hires track their training progress as well as using the workflows to have trainers know when to schedule items has been a gamechanger to us. We went from keeping these resources across multiple spreadsheets and documents housing links to all within smartsheet with sheets and dashboards that make it seamless and very easy to use. I use it daily and consider it one of my favorite tools for my body of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formulas aren't perfect and often make me rely on external workarounds to try and make them work. Its a small greviance though, as I rarely have this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to organize tasks on a sheet while also having a dashboard linked to it that can house additional resources has been so critical in helping me get my work done and visible to others.

What do you like best about the product?
Integration the agile way of working with tradition Project plan methodology helps to track and monitor the project well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inserting rows and columns, loading takes more time compared to Microsoft project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking the tasks of invisuals is being easy using smartsheet, which keeps them more accountable
Smartsheet use in large nonprofit team
What do you like best about the product?
My organization (a public health nonprofit) has used Smartsheet for internal project management needs for several years, and have been overwhelmingly satisfied with it. We use it to manage individual tasks as well as project and organizational level tasks, create and manage timelines, track progress with external partners, and even to create and manage simple surveys of both internal staff and external partners. One feature that I particularly like within Smartsheet is the opportunity to create automations, which we use a ton both for individual reminders and notifications. We have a large team of both full-time staff and consultants, so we are nearly constantly onboarding new members to our systems, but Smartsheet is always one of the simplest for new team members to onboard to because it is intuitive and user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where I wish Smartsheet had more robust logic options for form creation, as we often employ surveys to our team and/or external partners and prefer to do so within Smartsheet for the ease of backend spreadsheet management.
