Great for creating dash boards
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about this software is the integration between sheets and ability to move data easily. i use this everyday.

i would like to be able to post sheets directly to the dash board without creating a report

Smartsheet helps me solve several problems, mainly by automating repetitive tasks like reminders, updates, and tracking project progress, which saves me a lot of time. It also tackles the challenge of collaborating with my team in real-time, allowing us to stay on the same page without back-and-forth emails. Another benefit is the ability to create custom workflows that fit our specific needs, helping us stay organized and efficient. Overall, Smartsheet has improved our productivity by simplifying complex processes and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

Automation when managing the projects is superb. Like, the software automatically sends emails when a specific deadline is approaching. It is a great tool for Project Management.

I think using formulas is a little bit difficult as comapred to excel

Taking follow ups from the people responsible for completing a task is butter smooth. Sending reminder emails for to-do tasks was a big problem and smartsheet solved it.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet provides a highly customizable tool that allows us to easily manage projects at the enterprise level. Smartsheet is the type of program that pays off the more you use it. We have been able to implement it with ease due to the dedicated support from Smartsheet. Smartsheet University facilitates easy implementation by providing engaging and interactive on-demand courses in learning the product. It also inspires common use cases that allow for an all in one project management suite that we consult every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Smartsheet is you get out of it what you put it. For some, a spreadsheet based system can be intimidating. That being said, Smartsheet provides excellent tools that demystify the system via Smartsheet University.

Smartsheet allows us to manage enterprise encompassing projects and enables large scale project communications.
Good Functionality for Project Management and Project Portfolio Management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is great for project management and has a lot of recognizable functionality, similar to Excel, allowing users to get creative when creating columns. It also has strong and easy to use automation capabilities built in that allow for reduction of manual work required to maintain Sheets. I use it on a daily basis and across my client portfolio.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain functionality in Smartsheet can be difficult to learn, including dashboard creation. There also is limited capability within dashboards that make it complex at times to visualize the statisitcs or data you want to demonstrate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet provides a great way to collaborate with clients on a production schedule and dashboard. It also helps to track projects and maintain project schedules very easily.
Smartsheets for Educators
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy working with smarsheets. Having a reasonable knowledge of microsoft excel helps immensely, but it is still approachable without excel knowledge. I LOVE the automation feature because it sends updates for me without me having to have consistent maintenance on a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the cons about smartsheets is everyone in your circle has to have the subscription for it to integrate well in the work systems.

Smartsheets provides timelines that can easily be replicated and mirrored for future projects and it sends communications reminders to teammates.
Getting Things Done
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a versatile project management tool I use regularly and find very effective. I like the user-friendly interface for adding collaborators, flexibility with sending out notifications for users and ability to see history for each cells. I use it for not only managing timelines, and collaborating with the team but also for managing inventory and more advance timeline and data needs. Super easy to implement and start a new tracker, the ability to customize sheets and ease of pulling data from one sheet to another makes it easy to stay organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the templates but sometimes they are a bit over compliacted or not trivial, so would appreciate a more modern and intuiative templates.
