Secure Effective Way of managing Data
What do you like best about the product?
The security and peace of mind it provides, I know my data is safe. Also the ease of use and the graphically pleasing look of sheets and other data. I like the way that you can interract with the data and really delve into the finer detail but still have the data presented in a clear, understandable manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont think there are any downsides to be honest.

Maximizing Efficiency and Collaboration with Smartsheet: A Personal Review
What do you like best about the product?
From my experience with Smartsheet, it’s been an incredibly versatile tool for managing projects and tasks. I’ve found its combination of spreadsheet functionality with advanced project management features really effective. Customizable sheets help me organize data clearly, while reports and dashboards provide valuable visual insights. Automating workflows has streamlined repetitive tasks, making everything run more smoothly. I also appreciate how easy it is to collaborate with my team through controlled sharing and comments. Integrating Smartsheet with tools like Microsoft Office has been a game-changer. Plus, its robust security and compliance features give me peace of mind. Overall, the support resources and customer service have been very helpful whenever I've needed assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The premium price is expensive for our non-profit organization, and it limits us to critical features such as approval and the automated flows alert.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In summary, Smartsheet helps streamline our AP and AR processes, improve data accuracy, enhance collaboration, and provide valuable financial insights, ultimately making our accounting work more efficient and effective.
Intuitive software for information collation
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers an intuitive way to gather information which automatically puts data into readily available and easy to read format. It is easy to set up a form which allows you to gather data on a large scale without the associated admin. Its great that you can export data into other software.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful it there were a few more formating options when creating forms. When using for business it would be great to be able to format the layout etc.

Saving time from manually having to imput data set into electronic files.

Smartsheet is a powerful project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to setup a template that can be used by everyone on the team. I can link sub projects into the long term project plan so changes bubble up and data is not duplicated. I can share the sheet and assign people to tasks both inside and outside the company. I can easily change between different views like gantt and card view to help visualize where a project is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementing Smartsheet across the company requires training, templates and governance. It is so flexible that without these things users will create their own project management structures that will be difficult to integrate cross functional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The company used a variety of project management tools including monday.com, excel and microsoft planner. We were able to consolidate into one project management tool across the company that had enchanced functionality.
Makes gathering information much easier
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows us to see lots of information in one place and have the ability to track and chase these with staff members at work.
It also makes gathering much easier by being able to have staff complete a form that feeds directly into a spreadsheet. This saves us a lot of time.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so much that i dislike, but i t would be really good if we could transfer/create forms in a specific format and then select which boxes then feed into the master spreadsheet. We have some forms we work with that we would like to be electronic but still needs to follow a very specific format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously had a word document as a form to collect information from staff and this meant tranferring lots of information into an excel spredsheet. This took up a lot of precious time within the team. Smartsheet allows us to collate this information directly from the form submission and we can easily track any changes/expired forms in one place.
Helps Streamline and Give Insights into our Project Plans
What do you like best about the product?
Really love that it can really be utilized as an all in one tool. We have utilized it to really give us more insight into our project plans and the data/reports that can be created from it are extremely helpful to know how to respond when something isn't going well. It helps track each day with items that we need to get done.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel a little tedious sometimes with how we utilize it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has helped us have a much better understanding on earned value and clear direction on tasks we need to accomplish.
Flexible Software but Needs More Error Logging and Traditional DB Features
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is great for smaller projects. The interfacce and help menus are very intuitive and the help articles are very relevant. Most businesss uesrs at my organization can create their own sheet and workflow with minimal help which is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Control center is a great concept but has been buggy in our experience. It's also hard to troubleshoot as we feel there is minimal error logging.

We use smartsheet for our project plans, customer facing dashboards, and survey capabilities.
Great for Tracking and Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet daily at work. It's extremely easy to use and takes almost no knowledge to get started. A feature that I find the most useful is the ability to create forms. It's a lot easier to use over Excel and they are extremely easy to get ahold of if you need support.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may be an issue with my own server, but sometimes the pages won't load and I'll have to come back to it later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has created a more streamlined way to track Human Resources data within our organization.
Collaborative way to streamline teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how multiple worksheets can be integrated and read. Likewise, the ease of graphing or creating dashboards from data. Also the fact of being able to publish publicly accessible dashboards, without the option to edit, is a functionality that I love. I use this tool daily
What do you dislike about the product?
More complex formulas are needed and more features similar to Excel. Likewise, when forms are created, in the open fields the font size looks disproportionate, the formatting in the open fields cannot be managed and it does not look aesthetic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage data and dashboards of my human resources department. Automate forms and surveys and publish your results on graphs and dashboards.
Real game changer for organizing complex projects
What do you like best about the product?
Some of the strengths that can be highlighted at Smartsheet include flexibility of project management and customization possibilities. It becomes easy to create more elaborate timelines for projects on use of Gantt charts, in assignment of tasks and overall tracking of projects’ highlights. Integrating it with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office means that all the data regarding the project is in one place hence improving our organizational structure and sorting out the workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the disadvantages of the Smartsheet is that its functionality decreases while working with large amounts of data and large scale projects. The more the tasks and dependencies, the slower the software and unresponsive this slows us down and hampers our productivity and also to access or alter info easily. On the same note, the reporting features are not complete in terms of some of the more specialized customization to enable it to create a range of reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As for the issue of the lack of centralized project management, Smartsheet can serve as a solution as it offers the space for tracking tasks, milestones, and deadlines. It has helped us a lot to coordinate large projects in the organization and make sure that all related employees understand their duties. I like the use of the visual Gantt charts and the real time updates provided which serve to improve the project visibility.
