Great for Tracking and Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet daily at work. It's extremely easy to use and takes almost no knowledge to get started. A feature that I find the most useful is the ability to create forms. It's a lot easier to use over Excel and they are extremely easy to get ahold of if you need support.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may be an issue with my own server, but sometimes the pages won't load and I'll have to come back to it later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has created a more streamlined way to track Human Resources data within our organization.
Collaborative way to streamline teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how multiple worksheets can be integrated and read. Likewise, the ease of graphing or creating dashboards from data. Also the fact of being able to publish publicly accessible dashboards, without the option to edit, is a functionality that I love. I use this tool daily
What do you dislike about the product?
More complex formulas are needed and more features similar to Excel. Likewise, when forms are created, in the open fields the font size looks disproportionate, the formatting in the open fields cannot be managed and it does not look aesthetic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage data and dashboards of my human resources department. Automate forms and surveys and publish your results on graphs and dashboards.
Real game changer for organizing complex projects
What do you like best about the product?
Some of the strengths that can be highlighted at Smartsheet include flexibility of project management and customization possibilities. It becomes easy to create more elaborate timelines for projects on use of Gantt charts, in assignment of tasks and overall tracking of projects’ highlights. Integrating it with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office means that all the data regarding the project is in one place hence improving our organizational structure and sorting out the workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the disadvantages of the Smartsheet is that its functionality decreases while working with large amounts of data and large scale projects. The more the tasks and dependencies, the slower the software and unresponsive this slows us down and hampers our productivity and also to access or alter info easily. On the same note, the reporting features are not complete in terms of some of the more specialized customization to enable it to create a range of reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As for the issue of the lack of centralized project management, Smartsheet can serve as a solution as it offers the space for tracking tasks, milestones, and deadlines. It has helped us a lot to coordinate large projects in the organization and make sure that all related employees understand their duties. I like the use of the visual Gantt charts and the real time updates provided which serve to improve the project visibility.
Smartly manage project and improves overall productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I found it very helpful for managing our daily tasks through its user-friendly interface. I can quickly check the ongoing project status and see the activity logs for more transparency & building a trust regarding on time submission. It's so simple to use from any device and easy to learn basic features. After implemented smartsheet in our team we got improvement in overall team productivity and business.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Mobile App user interface could be better for having similar experience like desktop view.
2. Custom pricing could be better option for the small size organization those are willing to pay for required feature tools only.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its pre-built templates helps in reducing manual effort and time. its workflow automation is also very powerful and really helpful for our organization to maintain efficiency in work.
Helpful Gantt Charts
What do you like best about the product?
I like how the Gantt charts allow me to regularly update an on-going project schedule
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like it's helpful for internal use, but I typically use only use Smartsheet forms externally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to create an on-going list of advertisers that are using specific advertising spaces. As ads are scheduled and completed, Smartsheet allows me to see what space is available as well as upcoming ad holds.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet streamlines my workday by helping to create a to-do list. It allows my team to collaborate and manage our projects and customers well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface has SO many features which is great but can be overwhelming at times. Furthermore, the user interface has an outdated feel at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration + task organization. It benefits me by streamlining a workflow and serving as a "hub" for my team to collaborate.

What do you like best about the product?
It gives my stakeholders the freedom to document their data either restricted to the drop down choice I provide them or in free text while as an admin I can control what they see and where they write it from the dynamic views.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wanted to create executive summaries and attach them to my stakeholders rows in the same format then put the link for these executive summaries as hyperlink in a cell but I found out that I need to create 1 dashboard at a time and hyperlink each one, one at a time so we ended up doing it in Microsoft PowerBI where the data lives in a smartsheet, I pull the Smartsheet data to build a PBI report where the report is the same but the information changes according to the filter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data entry tool for the team where different team members can have visibility on other team members work and managers can have visibility of workloads. We always try to put meetings to update the data entered in smartsheets to keep it up to date and easy to read through

What do you dislike about the product?
Managing multiple sheets can sometimes feel a bit manual and cumbersome, most of the issues has been resolved though I’d love it if cells expanded into a code editor for complex formulas, as editing detailed logic can be tedious. Still, Smartsheet remains essential for our team.

Smartsheet has really transformed how we manage projects and communicate. It brings tasks, timelines, and collaboration into one easy-to-use platform, so we don’t have to juggle multiple tools anymore. The customizable workflows and real-time updates help us track progress and stay accountable, saving us time and effort. Our department's productivity has soared, and we’ve cut down on overhead. We no longer need to shuffle Excel files or pull data from different sources—everything we need is now in one place, keeping us organized and aligned.
Makes organizing and collaborating easy

I appreciate being able to see version history of attachments to see who has edited a document.
I like that we can make worksheets to collaborate with a client.
All our documents that are drafted, edited and collaborated on are hosted on Smartsheet, and I use it every day.
Sending an email when revising a document is very helpful in notifying colleagues!

What do you dislike about the product?
When searching for a document in grid view it can be difficult. Card view is much easier to navigate.
I dislike that emailed links expire - sometimes I don't have a need to work on them straight away.

Collaborating with clients is so simple using Smartsheet. Our business communicates and collaborates with different clients on different sheets which makes editing documents so simple.
Great for project management

The ability to easily create multiple entires and import content
