Handy solution for simplified project planning and organization for teams
What do you like best about the product?
One of the most advantageous aspects of Smartsheet as a project management tool is the availability of many features. I believe that it is very helpful in tracking tasks and I love the automation features of this application such as the reminders and the alerts. Not to mention that it integrates well with Microsoft Teams and Google Workspace, which is very helpful. Together with these features, the simplicity of use enables one to accomplish large scale projects easily and conveniently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The greatest drawback that we’ve experience when using Smartsheet is that it tends to be slow when handling large projects that involve lots of data. This has at times been tricky especially when one wants to locate or edit specific information in order to serve a particular purpose. Despite the app connected to popular software, it is not very suitable with small or specific applications that are also applied to. This gap has left us to spend more time typing the data or looking for relevant workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has greatly eased the manner in which we manage projects within the working environments. It helps to keep schedules in check as it easy in identifying who does what, when and which is due. Most importantly the automated notifications have been really useful to ensure that nothing is left behind. We have always had many spreadsheets that initially made confusion to us, but now, everything is integrated. They have improved collaboration between the members of a team, reduced misunderstandings, and time consumed while scheduling and monitoring tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Dashboard creation and ease of sharing with a broader audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
More features like AI tools that can auto generate a sheet with set criteria. More fuctionality with calendars

Better track of workflows on complex projects such as deadlines and deliverables.
Forms Allow for us to collect data
What do you like best about the product?
The options to collect information among an audience of users through forms is fantastic. We are able to properly document work completed in our operation by having users log and answer specific forms that we designed in smartsheet. We used to log this by pen and paper. Being able to attach items in the forms entry is easy to use and resourceful.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that we struggle with is mapping information collected to a form to a preexisting value. I am learning how to complete look ups, but it become more cumbersome to manage different sheets and establish the connections.
I recently learned that you can not copy and paste formulas from one sheet to another, you have to retype these, or enter as text to start.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets allows us to collect user entry data , whether it be The options to collect information among an audience of users through forms is fantastic. We are able to properly document work completed in our operation by having users log and answer specific forms that we designed in smartsheet. We used to log this by pen and paper. It allows us to create a step by step instruction to answer questions, and add relevant context/notes for any user to be able to follow.
I have been happy with Smartsheet, but feel it lacks some basic functionalities of other tools

I love how integrated it is within my current organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some actions are not very intutitive and require to much time to implement.

It helps reduce the workload of our PMs.

What do you like best about the product?
I think Smartsheet is a great way to build out project management resources, including tracking tools for deliverables and timelines as well as building reports that feed into project dashboards that can be easily shared with stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since there's so many functions of Smartsheet, the downside is time and effort it take to learn how to utilize each function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has been extermely helpful in building out project dashboards that provide a snapshot of the project status as well as tracking deliverables and other necessary timelines and project milestones. It's a great way to maintain real-time updates across any given project.
It has made sharing information to collogues so much easier.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. Tracking projects and action items is the best part. Email alerts are super helpful in reminding you of certain tasks. Our company has been usuing this for everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The workspace can be a little confusing at times along with the formulas.

The tracking of our to do list and personal projects. Keeps track of our high level project dates and commitments.
different than Excel but a great compliment
What do you like best about the product?
really like the form fill features and the ability to add various document types to the row of information. Also love that I can export to Excel.

the one thing I still struggle with after using this tool for several years are the formula's and some of the nuances related to column formatting

incentive tracking, pipeline management, project management and many others.

There are often thinks I could use help with while in a sheet. If there was a live chat feature, that would be great.

What do you like best about the product?
Smart Sheet is a great way for our hiring team to track applicants to multiple positions in one place. Its a great collaborative tool for our team.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smart Sheet is solving the issue of tracking applicants and providing a space for multiple users to add commentary and make requests.
The program has so many capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
What I enjoy most is the ablitlity to create so many different data access pouint for my team. there is a learning curve as with thevrything but Smartsheets always seems to be offering and adding more tools to help users utilize the program to its fullest.
What do you dislike about the product?
if i was to have one dislike, it would be how some sheets are limited in how you can filter data. More and or clearer options in the filtering aspect would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet for us, is a tool that incapsulates all tasks needing review and or completion at our 25 locations over 3 states. The benefit for us is that we have a clear picture of what needs to be done in an organized, easy to digest format.
