Intake is easy - lots of users can work on same sheet with easy saving/editing permission controls.

Interface and functionality is a bit limiting compared to other tools like excel through sharepoint

Collecting and organizing imformation. Assigning roles and responsibilities. It's useful from a task tracking perspective because it's so easy to set up.

Its functionality across multiple business products such as Brandfolder and Outlook.

The customer support is very slow when helping resolve an issue, even for enterprise level customers like myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has become a workflow and project collaboration tool that is essential to myself and my marketing team. The ability to upload proofs and collaborate remotely allows our team the ultimate flexibility.

What do you like best about the product?
Out of all the options that Smartsheet offers, I find its ability to integrate simple spreadsheet functionality while offering robust project management features most useful. Integrating it with services such as Slack and Google Drive is easy, making file sharing and collaboration within the team convenient. The most relevant tools are the real time collaboration tools since they allow making improved cooperation between the team members and updating all the information related to the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, the interface of Smartsheet looks a bit cluttered, which may be a minus for the newbies who will struggle with its navigation. This is due to the fact that, the software has a lot of tools and features which might take sometime to master and it sometimes slows down our project setup. Also, other highly enduring features are not easy to use and it takes additional time to train users more proficiently on the advanced features on the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One major challenge that Smartsheet has addressed when it comes to managing projects is the fact that everything can be done on this single platform. Thus, through incorporating the tracking of tasks, creating the schedule, and sharing the communication, it has improved the organization and team cooperation. From this centralized approach, we have been able to save time, minimize the need for different tools, and increase the chances of delivering projects on time.

What do you like best about the product?
I think it is important that Smartsheet has so many features available, and that the reporting tools and automations offered allow me to work in an efficient manner. It has frequent updates which means it is constantly evolving, introducing new features that help manage our projects. The issue of customer support has been helpful in attending to any queries that we may have. In general, it has been helpful in comprehending and planning the management of various projects concurrently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The disadvantage of Smartsheet is its cost, especially for teams that do not require all the options available. Perhaps, some of the tools, notably the Gantt charts, may still need more options in terms of customization in order to be really helpful. Overall, it is helpful to receive regular updates, but often these updates are accompanied by interface glitches that hinder our productivity. The above drawbacks have led to a number of time incongruities which are not very much preferred given that they affect our project timings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the integration of all the Smartsheet tools, it is no longer necessary to use different software for tracking tasks, reporting, and using reminders. I find the wide variety of options contributes greatly in improving our project management. We do not need much time dealing with routine paperwork and administrative work so we can channel more time on working more on functionality that is value adding to our tests and increasing our rate of meeting project delivery dates.

What do you like best about the product?
Probably, the most beneficial I found about Smartsheet is organization of projects with the use of smartsheet and its power in automation of tasks and reminders. Other features such as Quickbooks, customised reports, have enabled me track achievements with ease. We link it to Slack so that we conveniently post updates and share it with Google Workspace so that all the files are synchronized. Such capabilities help with being aware of given deadlines or at least ensure everyone in the team is in the loop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Another potential disadvantage of Smartsheet is it slows down somewhat when dealing with large data sets. This has led to some slippages when it comes to handling more elaborate cases with many employees involved. The pricing is also rather steep, I think in particular for small businesses which can make it incredibly difficult to sometimes justify the cost for some of those features. These challenges have affected us slightly, especially with regards to our speed while working on projects that have time constraints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A major issue that has been easily addressed by this software has been coordination as well as the ability to track progress on projects. Previously we spent a lot of time on coordination between many instruments, but now Smartsheet has it all under the same roof. The automation features have proven to be an outstanding feature as they have helped us to reduce the monotone work tasks a lot. This has brought about efficiency and effective management of time by the team thus eliminating late submission of projects.

I like tons of features and functionalities that Smartsheet has to offer for my project management.

Smartsheet is not self explanatory. There should be a help tab for every thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solved my problems regarding project management. I was able to set my start and finish base lines, dependencies and variances and able to track the progress in a very efficient manner.
Smart and Easy Way to Generate Forms and Tracking Sheets
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create smart forms with the logistics functions is awesome. It was pretty easy to figure out on my own and allowed me to make a complex process very simple for users. It really streamlined our requests processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some workarounds that just don't exist yet. You have to be creative about working your problem around the fixes that Smartsheet does have. I also wish it was easier to resend automations to people to make sure they were receiving the necessary notifications.

Giving our clients an easy way to track the progress on various things like orders and hiring. But also providing easy forms for them to properly submit requests to us.

What do you like best about the product?
The part of Smartsheet that I find most useful is how many tools it provides for project management. Dashboards can readily be personalized for visibility of achievements in various projects at a glance which assists with organization. I also like the automation features because they help reduce the workload in several areas where the workforce commonly spends many hours sorting through the similar stuff. These features have really improved our efficiency here.
What do you dislike about the product?
The aspect I dislike most about Smartsheet is its pricing system that is quite costly especially to companies that are small scale or start ups. This makes me often wonder if we are paying for bloatware, which is functionality many a time we may not use but is included non the less. Also the amount of features is large, although they can be very overwhelming as soon as one starts using the application. This may lead to some complications during the onboarding process and may form an initial slow growth rate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All in all, the use of Smartsheet has proven to enhance the way my team coordinates and plans its activities. Prior to this tool, maintaining synchronized coordination was nearly impossible, but with help of Smartsheet’s work spaces for different tasks and real time update options, we can improve communication. The automation features also contribute by minimizing the number of errors that arise from manual completion of the tasks that are involved in the assignment of tasks, follow ups, and efficient project delivery.
