Useful Tool to Organize and Streamline Projects
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Smartsheet is the ability to share a working document with a large number of people. It's especially useful when working in a decentralized company (like I do) with several different local shared drive. It makes it easy for everyone to get on the same page and it is easy to learn and pick up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have about Smartsheet is that some people who are new get confused that they may need to purchase a subscription when in reality they can just be a guest user. I wish there was an easier way to explain how the membership tiers work. Additionally, some Excel formulas don't translate over to Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps in managing several different workstreams for a project. Most of the time the workstreams are managed by different individuals who are located in different geographies.

A great tool for basically everything
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great tool We use every day here at CEMDOE, the implementation of new processes is seamless and easy and the integration with our BI toolset has been a blessing.

The admin tools have some room of improvement and the ancilary tools are quite costly,

Flows automation, ancilary data, project management

I can't think of any right now. Most everything has been very easy to navigate.

Use it everday and the new uodate threw me off for a few days making work a littel harder.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like smooth linking of documents to particular line items. I have stopped wasting time looking for files in jumbled desktop folders, wherever I remember their names. On one hand, all necessary information is reachable, connected to the specific task or line it relates to. This time-saving played a great role when I had to take a fast look at the materials during the team meeting. It's that basic efficiency that really builds up over time and means the world. The actual power, however, is in how you can easily collaborate. Whenever I interact with a couple of my colleagues or external clients, everyone can see changes that can be made in real-time and it is obvious who made each update. It feels so much more natural and fresh compared to Excel where we track edits sometimes feeling like a wild goose chase.
What do you dislike about the product?
And while there is one tiny disadvantage - the hassle of managing several sheets remains. Unlike Excel, where only a click away via the tabs, for each sheet in the Smartsheet you have to create a separate link. But the reality is the benefits outweigh this insignificant inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has taken the lead in improving the way we handle and store data which has subsequently allowed for a more fluid and collaborative way of sharing. I have been engaged in numerous projects where Smartsheet has cut our indirect emailing hours. It seems like the team members are all in the same venue, being of course not present at the same time.

What do you dislike about the product?
Their interfaces are mostly just visual. I wish they would allow us to build form fields and interact with interfaces for data entry, not just visualization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest issue we were facing is cataloging our products. We have thousands of floor plans that needed to be cataloged in detail so we can have a complex search system. Smartsheet allowed us to build this system from start to finish.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the interactive element of Smartsheet, being able to work on a project in real-time with collaborators.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to share full access with those who do not have a specific Smartsheet account.

Providing a platform to track outcomes and an interactive element allowing users to collaborate within Smartsheet.
Easy to use, with a ton of functionality
What do you like best about the product?
Its very easy to customize and utilize, even for folks who are not as comfortable with technology, similar to excel but significantly easier to customize/report on.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does feel like it's not the full platform, the different tiers are somewhat confusing, and some of hte functionality you'd expect to be part of the platform are "additional packages" that cost more money and are not easily identified in the sales process.

Reporting, oversight, and implementation/project management.
