Best & most cost-effective Project Management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The 1 stop location to most of the IT Service & Project management tasks. Easy to implement & integrate with tools that we use. Efficient way to manage our communication with all the prime stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet forms are still very basic, there are lot of enhancements needed. AI feature is not upto mark & it ability for natural language processing it very limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Request intake from various stakeholders & communication management
flexible tracking, collaboration, and reporting, may require customization to meet complex needs

versatility, offering customizable templates, automation features, and real-time collaboration, making it easy to manage projects

advanced features, like automation and integrations, can sometimes be tricky to set up and may require a learning curve

solves the problem of fragmented project management by centralizing task tracking, collaboration, and reporting in one platform. This benefits me by streamlining communication, automating routine tasks, and providing real-time visibility

Unable to edit form format. Not easy to make a summary report based on the collected data

having all testing reports in a central location and the reports can be shared with internal/external parties with ease

Easy to share. NIce to be able to add dropdown and tags.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rows too large. View is too big. No way to shorten.

What do you like best about the product?

However, it offers much more than a spreadsheet, with a variety of templates and customization options to suit different types of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the basic interface is user-friendly, there is a learning curve for mastering Smartsheet’s more advanced features like automation, complex reporting, and formulas. Users with no prior experience in project management tools may require time and training to fully leverage the platform’s capabilities.

Managing multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines can become chaotic, especially when relying on spreadsheets, email threads, or basic tools that lack proper tracking mechanisms. Smartsheet offers structured project management with built-in tools like Gantt charts, calendars, and Kanban boards that provide a clear visual of project timelines and task dependencies. It ensures that projects are well-organized, deadlines are met, and team members have a transparent view of their responsibilities. This helps me manage and track multiple complex projects more efficiently, reducing the risk of missed deadlines or overlooked tasks.
Smart sheet for project management in libraries
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheets to manage the status of projects in my department. There are several features I find particularly helpful
- ability to create forms to populate a sheet. For example, I have created a public form that my colleagues can use to propose a new digital project.
- receiving emails alerts when a sheet is updated or revised. This is helpful because there may be several colleagues updating the spreadsheet
-ability to add "conversations" to the row; I use this tool to provide status updates
-the use of conditional formatting
-switching between different views

Smartsheet is Simple!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is simple to use but also includes many features that advance the project/data you are working on. There are opportunities to go as far as you need to receive, enter, and review data as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of using Smartsheet is that sometimes the features are tricky to navigate. It is user-friendly once you have a strong understanding of the platform, but in the beginning, it can seem overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows my colleagues and I to connect virtually and work together in real time. This benefits us because it keeps our work flow going smoothly.
Smartsheets is a great tool for data collection using multiple users.
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to implement and create a data collection sheet in one place for multiple users to use on a daily basis. Smartsheets integrates well with Excel spreadsheets and makes data extraction a breeze. Support is easily available.
What do you dislike about the product?
For larger organizations, the amount of rows used daily in a sheet may need to be archived.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to have one space where users can enter data shared with other departments to collaborate on.
Low Floor and High Ceiling
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very easy to pick up for someone who has rudimentary knowledge of spreadsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features differ from spreadsheets to a degree that can be confusing.

Automated sending of forms, tracking teams tasks and my own, tracking my own tasks
Smartsheet is a great tool for tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Our team uses Smartsheet to track and resolve production support tickets. It provides an organized way to keep all the production support issues in one place. We record our solutions using the Smartsheet dashboard so we can use that information to resolve future tickets. Smartsheet is easy to use and very user-friendly. In addition, Smartsheet provides a variety of ways to view and interact with the data, which makes it easy to find the information we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Smartsheet dashboard is very reliable, but it does go down occasionally. Fortunately, these outages are infrequent and the Smartsheet team is usually able to resolve them quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet to keep track of our production support tickets and projects. It's a great tool for tracking these items and helps us stay organized.
