What do you like best about the product?
I like that smartsheet is real time. We have 4 locations and we can make changes in one and the others all have them instantly. Smartsheet functions like an excel sheet therefore it was extrememly easy to learn to navigate and implement within our company. I use it daily muliple times a day to be exact. We are able to have several different sheets shared with different departments that all function differently for exactly what we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I would have is that they update randomly and change little things like where the search bar is or how it functions. This is harder for our older employees that do not handle technology or changes well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to elemenate a lot of paperwork as smartsheet is able to be used by all departments for tracking, job management, task requests and so much more. It has cut down on a lot of time with cooridnation between departments and locations. Everyone is able to be on the same page at all times since the information is available in real time.

Lacks some tools that Microsoft Excel has
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheets to manage our project schedules and reporting of tabled information between colleagues. It's a great tool to use in terms of producing a table of information and being able to add a Gantt chart, and track dates and dependencies etc, it's a kind of happy medium between using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
Smartsheet has been great it really makes managing projects easier.
What do you like best about the product?
I think I like smartsheets automation feature the best. It really helps me start up a project and remain hands for the most part unless I need to check on progress. Tracking progress is as easy as clicking the work insights button. Smartsheet automation has made life so much easier as I dont have to constantly follow up with people and update their responses within the sheet. It is a really helpful feature that I use the most within smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that some automation features are not available. It makes it a little more difficult for me to change something within my sheet to my exact liking. For example. I need to send out a separate email using automation for every row within smartsheet. However, smartsheet likes to group the emails together if they are all going to the same email address.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving my problem of having to track who I am missing responses from and sending back follow ups to them automatically. Once a response is received smartsheet is good about updating it within the sheet for you if you have the automation set up.
Best & most cost-effective Project Management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The 1 stop location to most of the IT Service & Project management tasks. Easy to implement & integrate with tools that we use. Efficient way to manage our communication with all the prime stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet forms are still very basic, there are lot of enhancements needed. AI feature is not upto mark & it ability for natural language processing it very limited.

solves the problem of fragmented project management by centralizing task tracking, collaboration, and reporting in one platform. This benefits me by streamlining communication, automating routine tasks, and providing real-time visibility

Unable to edit form format. Not easy to make a summary report based on the collected data

Easy to share. NIce to be able to add dropdown and tags.

Rows too large. View is too big. No way to shorten.

Users with no prior experience in project management tools may require time and training to fully leverage the platform’s capabilities.

Managing multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines can become chaotic, especially when relying on spreadsheets, email threads, or basic tools that lack proper tracking mechanisms. Smartsheet offers structured project management with built-in tools like Gantt charts, calendars, and Kanban boards that provide a clear visual of project timelines and task dependencies. It ensures that projects are well-organized, deadlines are met, and team members have a transparent view of their responsibilities. This helps me manage and track multiple complex projects more efficiently, reducing the risk of missed deadlines or overlooked tasks.
Smart sheet for project management in libraries
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheets to manage the status of projects in my department. There are several features I find particularly helpful
- ability to create forms to populate a sheet. For example, I have created a public form that my colleagues can use to propose a new digital project.
- receiving emails alerts when a sheet is updated or revised. This is helpful because there may be several colleagues updating the spreadsheet
-ability to add "conversations" to the row; I use this tool to provide status updates
-the use of conditional formatting
-switching between different views

Smartsheet is Simple!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is simple to use but also includes many features that advance the project/data you are working on. There are opportunities to go as far as you need to receive, enter, and review data as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of using Smartsheet is that sometimes the features are tricky to navigate. It is user-friendly once you have a strong understanding of the platform, but in the beginning, it can seem overwhelming.

Smartsheet allows my colleagues and I to connect virtually and work together in real time. This benefits us because it keeps our work flow going smoothly.
