Smartsheets is a great tool for data collection using multiple users.
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to implement and create a data collection sheet in one place for multiple users to use on a daily basis. Smartsheets integrates well with Excel spreadsheets and makes data extraction a breeze. Support is easily available.
What do you dislike about the product?
For larger organizations, the amount of rows used daily in a sheet may need to be archived.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to have one space where users can enter data shared with other departments to collaborate on.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very easy to pick up for someone who has rudimentary knowledge of spreadsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features differ from spreadsheets to a degree that can be confusing.

Automated sending of forms, tracking teams tasks and my own, tracking my own tasks
Smartsheet is a great tool for tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Our team uses Smartsheet to track and resolve production support tickets. It provides an organized way to keep all the production support issues in one place. We record our solutions using the Smartsheet dashboard so we can use that information to resolve future tickets. Smartsheet is easy to use and very user-friendly. In addition, Smartsheet provides a variety of ways to view and interact with the data, which makes it easy to find the information we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Smartsheet dashboard is very reliable, but it does go down occasionally. Fortunately, these outages are infrequent and the Smartsheet team is usually able to resolve them quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet to keep track of our production support tickets and projects. It's a great tool for tracking these items and helps us stay organized.
Great to use for collaboration across my team
What do you like best about the product?
We are using it to share action items across many initiatives and projects, and to track progress on our team. It is easy to use, share, and update.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not used any of the reports. We are not power users so have not unlocked additional features of SmartSheet.

Information can be added by several users. This is a great tool for tracking purposes.

Addition of columns is not really possible on spreadsheets.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has minimized our reliance on manual project management. Its workflows have sped up our approval processes, and we’re now fully online for handling approvals on large projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the software offers many feature, a new user will need some time to master the full capabilities of SmartSheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet keeps everyone updated in real time, which makes it easier for the team to stay on the same page and tackle any issues or changes quickly. Workflows provide quick approvals keeping the project moving.

There is a lot of functionality (i.e. conditional formatting) that I like to use and I am learning more every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not realize when I started the concept of keeping columns the same name in order for them to be able to merge easily. This is part of my learning curve but wish the impacts were in video form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
smartsheet is allowing me to track tasks on projects across the scope of my department for the most part without issue. I am able to add information directly from email with the Smartsheet add on feature and add informaiton as it is provided. It simply keeps all of our items in one place which is helpful.
Workback schedules are my favorite.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Smartsheet is that I can create workback schedules for both internal and client-facing projects. The flexibility to create custom templates has been very handy in my work process. One of the most enjoyable aspects of the platform is that I can automate some of the processes which used to take hours in a matter of minutes. Additionally, thanks to the milestone tracking feature, I can keep track of all that is going on in a project without much time or effort, thus ensuring the team and contractors achieve both clarity and synchrony. Another useful option that I often resort to is embedding pictures into cells. Sharing visuals quickly and efficiently can be done by just clicking a button; there is no need to change platforms. The ability to collaborate in real-time with colleagues and clients has been made very convenient through the feature of inviting them for live updates on the same sheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it’s excellent for real-time cooperation, I wish it would save itself automatically. It makes the manual process of saving and refreshing to see changes a little slow, indeed, especially when several colleagues are working in the same document at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet scheduling tools, especially the predecessors function, have significantly minimized the time that it takes to organize projects. I have a weekly ritual of going to the template function - it's an effortless way of preparing schedules and it calms me.
