What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about smartsheets is the ability to locate and organize information based on how you'd like to file and organize. My place of work constant updates and there are always options such as the bell alert that allows you to organize further if you don't have time at that exact moment. For example if you would like to be reminded to send a prospect an email 2 months from today, you can scheule reminders with notes. I use Smartsheets everyday and rely on using a good amount of its features to avoid forgetting tasks I need to get done. When introduced to smartsheets, I was able to learn fairly quickly as it is easy to use and implement into your daily use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to get used to not being able to search with the search bar up above on the right hand side, otherwise I'm pretty content with Smartsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to log, track, update and alert your tasks. Because it is cloud based, my updates allow others to see what is done, needs to get done and saves me a ton of time as I don't have to physically alert people in my organization what to do. All they need to do is look at my updates and its ready to go.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheets is actgively developed and frequently updated. Several of the things I didn't like about Smartsheets in years past have been improved though updates, like the Gantt view.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside to Smartsheet is that it still cannot fully replicate a database software. You can create links between sheets to mimic this, but it's not quite a database replacement, especially if you have a lot of data. Another area I'd like to see improved is the search function. Recent updates have improved it a bit, but I still find it a bit cumbersome to find what I need from time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Smartsheets for procurement. We submit procurement requests via Smartsheets, and track the purchases up through the recieving step. We also manage PTO requests and planning via Smartsheets.
Can be shared with larger team and all the required tabs are there for editing and updating purpose

I need to log in to the smartsheet each and every time when i try to review something eventhough I saved the PWs

Managing each and every project and keep rolloing the projects by dcoumenting time lines

Upsides found on smartsheet:
1. You can personalize and automize communications and automations to be delivered to your project team members.
2. You can restrict and allow permissions to people who can contribute on your smartsheet, attaching evidences, comments, and editing.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have found few downsides on smartsheet:
1. There is not a standarized column that provides you the % expected progress without the need for you to construct a formula to obtain this input.
2. You can't modify the baseline for a single task, and that is needed when a task is approved to be modify.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping me manage all projects on my PMO department.
Great Tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
It is super helpful in capturing time durations and managing projects. I love how easy it is to toggle between the Gantt view vs grid view. Reporting is also very straightforward and the built-in visualizations are great. I also really enjoy utilizing automations to send notifications and being able to attach files.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some things that are difficult to navigate through, such as text wrapping, Gantt errors, no auto-save, no action/change log.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a PM, Smartsheets gives me a comprehensive space to keep track of all of my accounts and their progresses. It allows for me to make sure I am meeting my deadlines through its auomatic date calculation, use of predecessors and dependencies, and automation capabilities. It also allows for me to keep track of task assignments and gives me clear insight on impacts to my project if a task is not done.
Excellent Solution for managing projects and workflows

Easy project management and workflow automations especially for those that are experienced with Spreadsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is easy to inadvertently expose a sheet to persons that should not have visibility. Be careful when setting permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflows and project management around software onboarding and proof of concept projects.
Smartsheet "outside the box", using Smartsheet to manage everything like a its a project.
What do you like best about the product?
First and foremost due to Smartsheet being spreadsheets at its core if you are an Excel or Google Sheets user/fan than the transition to Smartsheet is almost completely painless. Aside from some syntax differences it works the way you are used to at its base.The point and click functionality for reports, charts and "Dashboards" is a huge quality of life improvement compared to having to build those things yourself.
The use cases for Smartsheet deployments are only limited by you and your creativity. The amount of integrations that exist make bring data in from multiple sources to a central point of truth a breeze.
The robustness of the community, from help articles and forums to community designed templates, is a huge plus.

What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheets inability to deal with "time" naitively is a major pain point if you are trying to manage or have visibility in to a scale smaller than "Days". You can accomplish it with some fairly complex formulas and/or creative cell and sheet links but it has been a community ask for a number of years. Additionally anytime based functons are based on Smartsheet servers timezone, your sheets will display the time as local but any calculations (ie: =Today()) will run based on theirs. This is not disclosed anywhere, you stumble on it when you don't get an expected result.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows for external collaborators to contribute without having to download any software. There are a few limitations for the basic and free membership, but all the core functionalities needed for collaborations are available. Another good feature is the Gantt chart function and the dependency mapping which is particularly important for complex project planning. There was no implementation needed for the users side since the application is web-based, and exporting and importing to other application (MS Excel, PDF, etc.) was easy for sharing the hard copies of the sheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on the application usage, there are times the sheet setting is not flexible enough to accommodate all the project requirements. The other limitation I could think of is the dependencies and the start date are linked, meaning the start date is automatically set as the end of the complete date. It will be better to have a conditional formatting function where the start date of succeeding task can be set a few days after the completion date as a pre-requisite instead of forcing it to be the end date for the previous tasks

Having a dedicated space for all project-related tasks with all team member regardless they are external or internal.
