Innovative Program Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet provides integrated project/program management planning and scheduling that can be shared with a diverse multipfunctional team. Dashboards can be easily created to show project status. Alerts and reminders can be provided to those responsbile for specific tasks.. which they can update directly. It is easily implemented enterprize wide.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some cases one can share a project sheet external of their organization and in other cases it can not (Smarsheet government) ..

What do you like best about the product?
The possibility to create dashboards, reports and timings. The integration with our ERP allow us to have the people working in our ERP ans use Smartsheet as a reporting system on real time to get the info from the ERP and have the info in the right way to take decisions to run the business.
it is a very friendly system that does not require a lot of training and knowledge to use it correclty
We implemented the smartsheet with no problems and start getting valuable info since the day 1
Customer support I would say is fair, as we have not requried a lot of support at all

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that i can do more in the dashboars with the charts, because we need to know trends, a trend line would be awsome in the charts, in the pie charts we do not know to sort from biggest to smallest so we can get "ordered" the pie chart, and what really I do not like is the limit of 20,000 rows in the sheets.
the reports in smartsheet only accepts 2,500 lines to work correctly
the price could be better to get more add ons and solutions

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All the info is loaded only one time in the ERP, people is working in the ERP, and the info is sent to smartsheet, so we can have info on real time. Additional, as we can transfer info from one sheet to another using Data Mesh, we can have done a lot of work that was done manually in the past.
Beautifully Automated, (Perhaps expectedly) slow with potential accessing issues
What do you like best about the product?
I thourghly enjoyed the automatted gant charts that were created, that were easy to follow. I liked only having to update one single row that then populated across multiple sub sheets. It was reminicent of automation in excel and easy to use. Plus the tutorials were nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often times, spreadsheets took long to open and in times of meetings it became frustrating when I had to flip through different sheets. Sharing sheets across two accounts was also tedious as although I had admin access across both sheets (I believe), when one account was closed, I lost access to the sheet on the other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow management is quite difficult in excel as the automated gantt charts provide a much clearer action path rather than solely using cells. I also liked the reminder feature and being able to send a single sheet to get updates from all

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it enabled multiple team members to work together without any obstacles in real-time, such as the forms that had to be sent right into the sheets, which is really what we needed to keep productive. One of the moments that really struck me was when we set up automated notifications in the middle of a squeezed-through-out project. Instead of manually following up on things, Smartsheet did everything flawlessly by sending out timely reminders and updates the right way to the right people, freeing up so much of our time. The ability to create entire workflows with just a few clicks has made it a must-have for us to use it as part of our daily business. Another thing that is very much a value point, in my opinion, is the dashboards because they do run a long way in giving us the fundamental data in a very short period rather than having 2-3 hours in a meeting discussing the specifics.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that does cause me discomfort, though, is the paid certifications they rolled out. The feature is such that it makes me feel more like a cash cow for the firm rather than a user contributing positively to their product. It is not a deal-breaker but it leaves a bit of a corporate taste in my mouth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is at the top of the chart when it comes to the secure collection and management of client information. We have used it to gather and process data to enhance our service offering, and the automation functions that come along with it allow me to concentrate on strategizing rather than on certain labor-intensive tasks.
It is very easy to use smartsheet and it is very efficient.
What do you like best about the product?
The auto reminders is a big help in keeping critical item on track. Save time and effort on your part so that you may concentrate on other task. It can also be share with your team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only think I don't like is the hide/unhide option. It's easy to hide certain rows or columns but you cannot unhide a few. Have to unhide everything.

It help tracks our company incoming/outgoing documents for construction. Also help manage our project startup phase and contracts.

We use Smartsheet along with our company event inake forms. It's a great way to keep tracks of our hundreds of events we host accross the globe annually.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have a hardtime finding certain events as they are not listed at the bottom but populate in the middle of the sheet having me sort it before finding what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets is helping to keep all of our event info in one place. Our users fill out a form which triggers an email alert which I need and I can sort and seach and successfully manage many events at once.
Multifunctional and Approachable Work Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Smartsheet in my work for nearly 10 years. I like that it has great built in functionality and is easy for most people to learn and use. I also really like the various templates that you can choose from so you don't have to start from scratch when you need to build a new/different tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is cost prohibitive for organizations with smaller budgets. I also know that it has a number of powerful visualization options, but to me, those have been difficult to learn and manipulate for my needs.

Smartsheet helps provide a single point for me and my team to check in on a project status. I also enjoy the task management feature for more detailed tasks.

We have used Smartsheet with spreadsheet-like capabilities for managing and sustaining projects encompassing collaborations. Our team uses this for project management in order to achieve deadlines. Diagram and chart assessments are supportive in supply management. Keeping track of tasks is a wonderful feature for hitting timelines and achievements.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have noticed minor weaknesses in security along with missing fundamental features like live dashboards, auto-fill, along with missing opportunities for scripting and coding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet proves to be beneficial with the unity and networking between separate business units, tracking tasks, and maintaining timeline focus on goals and achievements.

Ease of access - I can use this on my computer or my phone and it is easy to read and edit.
Strong collaborative tool - I love being able to work together with colleagues across the country and to see what and when they've made changes/additions

Customer training/support - Smartsheet regularly offers seminars for training and exposure to new products. I have attended a few webinars and found them to be helpful.
Quick to learn - becasue this tool is so simple, I have new employees up to speed within a few days.

Perhaps this isn't a fair criticism but I wish it was used more widely. I get the sense that many people don't know about it and default to things like Google Docs, which offers less security.

It offers a centralized worksheet space that can be used by many people for multiple purposes. It has helped streamline our processes by reducing the amount of tools/apps that people use for different things that may, in fact, have integration points with other things.
