User friendly and informative
What do you like best about the product?
Different dashboards that be used to create schedules or "punchlists" to complete a task

You can't indent a cell by clicking and dragging over. You have to hit the indent everytime

The time to customize a sheet is lengthy. Often takes a lot of time to build and link specific pages.

good one stop shop to organize tasks, projects and initiatives.

Sometimes the privledged and tools could be a little more user friendly.

Good place to compile tasks
Very good for excel users and people who are willing to dive in and learn thesystem

It is alot like excel, the formulas are easy to learn. its endless in its potential but takes investment. automations are nice
What do you dislike about the product?
It is too diffucult to use the format painter. There is a steep learning curve if you are an admin. you cannot remove indented lines easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordination between engineering, procurement, field work, documentation, admin work, interal and customer communicaiton plus organization.
Utilizing Smartsheets for a large agency makes creating and viewing data and dashboards easier.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of utilizing multiple forms of the system. Such as, sheets, dashboards, calendars, etc. The ability to pull from different sheets in formulas to create data points is so easy. I like that Smartsheets guides you on how to do things as you are attempting it as well, such as inputting formulas. The formula guide on the smartsheets website is great for assistance, but also the response in the forums on how customers should create a formula. The AI feature is still very new, but can be helpful when summarizing sections. Customer support has been very helpful and reaches out regularly through email to offer support if needed. Our Continuous Quality Improvement Team utilizes Smartsheets daily for a good majority of our jobs. As a lifelong user of Microsoft products, I did find the ease of implementation and integration smooth from knowledge of the other products.
What do you dislike about the product?
The difficult feature on smartsheets for my team has been utilizing the AI formula creation feature. It is very picky on what it identifies when writing out what you like to happen, and majority of the time will come back that it cannot identify what you are asking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize smartsheets to track agency improvement projects and A3 creation. Smartsheets allows to collect all information for an event/project in one central location.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use with great guidance, such as through tutoritals. It creates great visuals and workflow management abilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is limited use for data capabilities that excel is better for.

Concising workflow, and project collaboration with coworkers. It creates a great overview for the team and project at hand.

The history tracking in cells and the highlight changes feature are particularly useful for keeping everyone on the same page and ensuring transparency.
The support resources are excellent, with robust training available through Smartsheet University. The public boards are also a great asset, featuring an active user base that frequently provides valuable help and insights. This strong community support adds another layer of confidence when using the tool, knowing that assistance is readily available if needed.
One feature I particularly enjoy is the dynamic view, which allows me to provide visibility to specific security groups and ensure they only see the information they need. This targeted access is a great way to maintain security while still keeping everyone informed.

I can't link a resource to multiple data points across different sheets, which makes it challenging to maintain consistency and accuracy in complex projects. This lack of flexibility can hinder productivity and adds to the manual effort required to keep everything up to date.
