Great features and a powerful platform for projects
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the automations and collaborative approach, especially being able to work on one sheet at the same time and tag others in comments. It's been a very easy implementation and colleagues find that we use it freaquently in our day to day tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The more features you utilize, the more confusing it can get, especially when it comes to formulas. The tutorials on the support site could be a little better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping our team and teams we collaborate with to all work off one platform, which has been important in streamlining our cross-collaborative workflow

It is intuitive and helpful in bugeting time and cost.

Svaing is sometimes difficult when engineering

Cost and budgeting and scheduling more organized
Simplifies Complex Tracking Work
What do you like best about the product?
There are lots of features so you can get what you need from a basic to-do list to a complex project tracker.
What do you dislike about the product?
The project templates are very complex. I would like a middle option between a regular sheet that would only track tasks, and the entire project workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The templates are the biggest benefit to me, being able to visualize things easily and not needing to draft it myself.
Smartsheet is a great tool for Project Managers
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool that helps you create dashboards and transform the data into actionable feedback. I like the organization of having a Workspace that can hold, reports, dashboards and other type of sheets to connect with eachother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I won't give it a 10 because it has some limitations. Since the format is pretty similar to Google Sheets and Excel, I would expect we can merge rows and use other features. I believe if Smartsheets implements these very common features, it would have a good impact on us, the users. I also think customer support could be faster. I have written once or twice, and I haven't gotten a reply, so I mostly used the blogs to check other answers and options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has helped our team organize our projects, keep documentation clear, and also pull reports that help us plan the capacity of our teams based on the number of projects handled and even identify if we need more resources for our team due to the different templates they have. Each PM can use it to create a personal checklist and right now, we are working on a career compass plan with the sheets and reports Smartsheets provides.
Smartsheet has been a positive learning curve and is a reliable resource
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the sheets and forms are very easy to share. Automations are easy to set up so the right people are approving things and the right people are looped in.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find it is the best for sorting through data, however, I usually just export to Excel or copy and paste and that works just fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has been allowed for us to have some reliable processes for requests. Our onboarding process has improved significantly because of Smartsheet.
Good Product for shared Information
What do you like best about the product?
I like the live updates awhen multiple people are editing
What do you dislike about the product?
Not everyone has it. Sometimes clietns arent familiar and ask for otehr platforms liek Google Sheets or Microsoft products.

One location for inforamtion that several people can access and edit from various locaitons or devices

create the form like excel and it's easy for transfering data from Microsoft OS to SmartSeheet

Lag sometimes if you have created too many raws in Smartsheet

easy on hands of use
Great but not a fan of the new icons on the right column

It is easy to use, highly integrated, provides a great tool for project managment, not sure how I did my job without this software

The recent update changed the icons on the left column, and they are harder to read. Prefer the old icons that were larger.

Does an amazing job of tracking our project schedules and budgets

What do you like best about the product?
I love the automations. It is so easy to add names and emails in order to send reminders and organize time sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not love that alot of templates are prefilled with info. Have to take time to delete info to add my own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to share workbooks with other departments. We are able to add info and everyone can see the info. Also, we automate our time sheets instead of doing them by hand.

What do you like best about the product?
Our experience with Smartsheet has been great. The set up was easy and we felt supported every step of the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't feel that we received a clear and concise explanation of what exactly Smartsheet could do for us and more importantly what it could not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helped us create an Absence Request form and an Absent Tracker that allowed us to better document our employees' absences and assign codes for our Workman's Comp Insurance policy.
