What do you like best about the product?
easy to hanlde and organized. shared with number of people at same time. clear information and easy to track the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
read only access does not have copy feature available. this will be very helpful feature to anybody.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
easy to track routine work. multiple poeple from differnt department can bale to have access. tracking details is very easy and simple to maintain the data thorught the company.
Excellent for Sharing Information
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I do not have to send a spreadsheet to several people that may or may not need the information at that time. They have access to the SmartSheet when they want it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take a little getting used to. It's not Excel and we all have used Excel so long that it's a little uncomfortable at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simply, It saves time.

A more organized version of GSheets
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create different sheet views depending on your needs (i.e. excel format vs. gantt). I also appreciate the ability to add multiple filters when organizing the sheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as easy to move/organize rows since there's not a drag-and-drop function. It also doesn't feel super intuitive and requires a bit of a learning curve whereas Google Sheets is a little more straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making it easy to create task lists that can be shared and organized within project folders. It also acts as a digital archive for our files.
Finance Associate Using SmartSheets as a transaction data room
What do you like best about the product?
I love how it is dynamic. For financial transactions, the norm is to update a word doc or excel sheet and send it back and forth. Using smartsheets as a dynamic data room and a transaction checklist has been a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The back button is not intuitive. When viewing a PDF in the viewer, I frequently hit the back button in the top left which refreshes the data room and sends me all the way back to square one. Hvaing a more intuitive back button (instead of the "X" in the top right) would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Serving as a dynamic financial transaction data room and checklist. It's espeacially nice because we can use the same data room for multiple financial transactions by limiting the view/access properties to the various counter parties.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect about Smartsheet is the organized and collaborative features of the product. I utilize Smartsheet for budgeting purposes and it helps with tracking documentation, record keeping of changes, and visualization of the data. I also utilize the Smartsheet form for streamlining certain processes for our team. I have also found that this Smartsheet is helpful for allowing visibility for partners to access data as needed. I have found also found that building out Smartsheet and it's basic formulas to be easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not fully utilized the Gantt chart view, but I have found it to be hard to navigate and to display what I want. I also don't like the visuals of the Gantt chart for projecting out projects. I also think the card view feels a bit overwhelming and not sure if it's the best way to review the data. I also think that I also haven't had enough training or experience with these other features of Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is organizing documentation that is often lost in emails. It has also reduced the amount of emails and organized the workflow of our system. This also allowed us to share the status updates to partners for more transparency and efficiency. Smartsheet also provides a great historical record of what changes have been made and organized documentation for context. It has also provided up to date budgetary data and summary data that is easy to update. It ultimately has saved time and provided information data to our stakeholders.
We acquired Smartsheet as a replacement for MS Project but use it for a lot more
What do you like best about the product?
Workflows and surveys are very useful. The various views allow for using it as a spreadhseet, gantt chart, kanban, schedule and more. Assigning tasks to users and notifications are used often. It was easy to implement and over half of out employees are using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have tried to connect Power BI but not a good solution for integration that we have found.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary use was for project schedules and task management. MS Project is ecpensive and most uers do not know how to use project. Smartsheet meets our needs and is much easier for people to use. We have since been using it for workflows, new employee onboarding, engineering notifications, marketing projects and content approvals.
Great PM Workspace
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is intuitive and user friendly. I like how it is similar to our old friend excel which we have all been using for years. I use the features including links, and sharing workspaces through the site has accelerated my teams productivity and keeps everyone in the know.
What do you dislike about the product?
The people who you share with must have a smartsheet account. Often times our IT dept takes time to provide access to folks for viewing, which slows us down a bit. Sub tasks are also difficult to input under larger projects. It would be great if a larger project could be clicked on then you could view the sub tasks associated which could then translate into a dashboard. Instead our dashboard shows sub tasks as individual projects. Integrations across other programs to showcase dashboards would also help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project management is my team's main use. We create dashboards and calendars out of the project lists. We also use the forms function to organize our requests and have the team input thier weekly project updates.
The advantages of Smartsheet for my accounting occupation
What do you like best about the product?
Data import and export are done easily. It's rather simple to monitor the advancement of every phase of our team-based work with Smartsheet's user-friendly, visual interface; creating and adjusting budgets is quite dynamic and facilitates the establishment of detailed line items and assign costs to specific tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as easy as I thought to set up multiple sub-projects in Smartsheet. There is room for improvement in this particular setup area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ongoing cash flow information provided by Smartsheet allows us to plan and budget projects with more efficiency and accessibility, even when they involve multiple vendors and line items.
Very helpful for estimating andschedules
What do you like best about the product?
It helps for the different stages of a project. In out case, we work with contruction - so we can multitask for estimating, change orders, schedules, and it can also be used in cellphone, tables and computers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I havent found any big deal compared to other estimating softwares I have used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One issue we had before was that each department had its own software. Smartsheet solved this by allowing project managers, accounting, design, and estimating work along the same document.
