Collaborative powerhouse for program management
What do you like best about the product?
We use Smartsheet for program and project management. The ability to have multiple editors/contributors and a separate list of viewers is beneficial to keep errant key strokes from disrupting the plans we have made. We started with a template that a coworker had used prior and found it easy to jump right in and now use it weekly to keep the project progress updated for everyone to see. I've reached out to customer service a couple of times and they were always quick to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't come across anything specific that I don't like, now that we are on the enterprise version. Prior to implementing the enterprise version, we had some issues with permissions that stalled the work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is giving our cross functional team a singular method of reporting throughout the business and a collaborative manner in which we can provide updates.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and detailed descriptions of functions. Easy to learn very quickly
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard widgets are very veryyy limited and sometimes annoying. Dashboards need to be very focused on real estate because i dont want to scroll through a dashboard. So its annoying when i cant hide axis titles or units on graphs and charts. the widgets are not customizable at all and it limits my use substantially.
the sheets are also very limited compared to excel and porting data from excel to smartsheet isnt ideal. a lot of formulas are lost and the functionality isnt great

collaborating on one tool in one place. ease of use and can be used easily by many people of different levels of education

What do you like best about the product?
It's super helpfull to keep everything in track

You don't have tabs enough like in excel.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet give us the oportunity to make workteams in an easy way and having the benefit of always online (cloud based), it's simple and intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think all is good since is pretty simple to use, if they make chances please keep it in that way.

all teammembers are on the same channel since we track all related with a project on Smartsheet
Very useful and user friendly tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows me to automate part of my work and customize processes as needed. It is also very helpfull to receive/request information and keep an organized dataset that can be shared with all teamembers. The integration with other tools like Power BI is valuable as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if sheets were optimized to work better with column formulas. Depending on the amount of information, the operation is not fluid and sometimes impossible to use. It would also be nice to be able to store larger amounts of information in just one sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to automate certain tasks and makes it easier/more efficient to notify people involved in the processes. It is also useful for storing information used in reporting and for sharing information with different members of the company. Forms are also very useful for receiving requests from stakeholders and automated notifications make work more efficient.
Smartsheet Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ease of use, the storage of all my smartsheet files, the ability to stay organized, and the platform in general. Love the attachment on the lines for reference materials.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to be able to merge cells. Would also like a simplification of the mathematical features when working with numbers/figures. Right now, the math functions are difficult to type.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A place to store all smartsheets and keep my sheets organized/tidy. It's allowing us to track workflow on different initiatives. Also, various reporting.
It's a good system
What do you like best about the product?
It's fairly easy to use and gets the job done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Copying and pasting from the SS into another document (email, Excel, Word, etc.) doesn't always work, which is kind of annoying. I also often have password issues when receiving a SS link from a co-worker. I don't know if that's a SS issue or my company's IT issue, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a sheet multiple uers can work off of makes things easier.

What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet allows my team and I to work together online despite not having the license for Microsoft based products online (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.). We use the desktop version of all of those applications, so other than working in a shared drive, this has really been the only product that our company approves of and actually aids us in group collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there were actual tabs and not just new sheets that opened in a different window. Like there's almost sort of kind of fuctionality that exists that's similar to tabs, but it's just not the same as being able to open an additional tab in Excel.

SmartSheet solves the issue of all of my team not being able to in live time collaborate on a project together. Using SmartSheets all of our users can work together on the same sheet in real time.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the easiest workflows setup I've ever used/setup. we use it regularly as one of the main tools supporting consulting business
What do you dislike about the product?
one cannot do a copy paste of data from one smartsheet to another (there is a different way to do it which is a bit difficult as compared to MS Excel where you can simply copy/paste any amount of data from one sheet to another.

Smartsheet provides a robust security internally & externally (we use it as a collaboration tool to work on projects with clients). simple & user friendly workflows make it easy to setup and use frequently
Automate your work and get things done
What do you like best about the product?
I love the automation. Our customer fills out a form, then we are notified and the sheet is filled in with all the details we need to begin the project. The built in automation features are easy to implement and choose which are best for the tasks. We use it on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some aspects that are for premium use only but would be helpful in some areas. There is also a lack of privacy if a lot of people need to see the information but you do not wnat multiple sheets.

How to easliy get information from customers with out multiple emails.
