What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to create much realistic report when required like... creating a power BI report, Data comparision, etc.

Smartsheet makes project planning a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Take all the features you like about a sharepoint site, and then improve on that. The support out there is amazing and it allows for you to easily create forms or to have your full project plan create bullet points for your leadership to know whats going on, but not the day to day interactions they aren't really interested in.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve, but not a steep one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to share relevant data with the intended audience easily and without creating more documents. Its also quite the project planning tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent for online collaboration of speadsheet data, scheduling, billing and reources. Linking data and search tools are also nice. We use this everyday for many projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Is serves our needs well. Some of the reporting tools can be
challenging to get the correct data and format to show the way we want it to.

Online collaboration of project engineers in different locations. Scheduling resources, timelines, tracking and billing.
My Experience with Smart Sheet
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Smart Sheet is that the sheet can be modified by multiple users at the same time. It is very easy to share the sheet with other users. It also has the most common spreadsheet functions. Thus if you know MS Excel, it is very easy to learn Smart Sheet. It was also a breeze to incorporate into our existing workflows and processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the product is so simple I have not found any issues with it. Since I have not had any issues with it for the past three years, I have never had to call customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We prepare 100s of tax returns. We use Smartsheet to track our entire process. From sending engagement letters, to clients sending data, to clients signing off on the return, and even for tracking who has paid for services. Multiple employees are involved in the process and can update and manage their tasks and workflows. Its also very easy to see what your teammates have completed.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Smartsheet is its flexibility! You can customize it to your needs, tailor it for your client's needs, and ultimately it flexes to you (not you to it). Utilizing Smartsheet's flexible capabilities (in the construction industry) has helped me receive promotions, upgrade company-wide systems/processes, and ultimately perform at a higher level each day. When I was first introduced to Smartsheet by a colleague, I hesitated to try it, but after a few uses, I quickly found that it was just what I needed. I recommend Smartsheet to anyone looking to create custom solutions for their company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I've noticed that could use upgrading would be the way that Smartsheet docs are exported to PDF. Sometimes it's difficult to export the Smartsheet in a visually friendly way. I'll admit, this might be a user error issue - but I think the exporting could be upgraded some. Other than that, I don't have anything to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has allowed me to create custom solutions for each part of the business process (sales, project intake, project management/operations, task tracking, finances, closeout, to archive).
It is a easy way to organize and keep track of project steps.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to set up and work with. You can transfer work between teams. Yous can set reminders for individual projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is online only. You must have internet access to view and work in. I would like to see an offline version that you can update once you have internet.

What do you dislike about the product?
Doesnt allow much customisations on Chart, Formatting options.

Nothing much, I dont deal with any problems, but I will always write emails to improve this product.

It's a great functional tool / software. It's easy to deploy for managing projects and programs; however, for very large programs or enterprise solutions it can become complex.
I like the flexibility and agility the software has for managing projects, associated milestones, and tasks. It's a great tool for a collaborative work stream and has a very low learning curve for new users. It's fairly easy to deploy and stand up.
I also like how easy it is to create professional looking dashboards and landing pages.

I dislike Smartsheet’s high pressure sales tactics and that they have chosen to up sell basic functions that should be included with general licensing fees as premium apps, including but not limited to, Data Shuttle, Calendar, etc.
Integration can be difficult without investing in some of their premium apps.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows my team to have the flexibility needed to manage evolving project scopes and needs through milestone and taks managment.
"Upgraded" version of Excel, efficient, relatively easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
You can create all kinds off reports, dashboards, easy to use.

Can be laggy sometimes. But this probably can apply to other sites.

Easy to enter data and track project managements with members of the team without sending spreadsheets over and over.

Customer support is terrible. Can take over a week for Smartsheet to respond.
