A great tool for successful project delivery
What do you like best about the product?
Its intuitive and simple interface. The ability to build out a project plan in excel and then import it is also very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The look and feel is a bit more dated. While this shouldn't matter it can be a barrier when encouraging team members to switch from the likes of JIRA.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet offers a platform that helps us manage both traditional and agile projects and is flexible enough to support both. With simple and clear gantt charts as well as easy to use Kanban boards it is versatile enough to meet the various project managem,ent needs of our business. As a business that delivers projects with varying methodologies having one tool that can manage all projects is very useful. It also allows better collaboration with our remote teams and clientsas the level of detail that can be captured is high and the option to share with thrid parties gives greater visibility and peace of mind to our clients.
Smartsheet: Efficient, Collaborative, and Customizable
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been a game-changer for our team. Its intuitive blend of spreadsheet functionality with robust project management tools makes it easy to track progress, manage timelines, and assign tasks. The real-time collaboration features, like commenting and file sharing, have streamlined communication and cut down on emails. Automation options save us time on routine tasks, while customizable dashboards and reports provide valuable insights. It’s flexibility allows us to tailor it to our specific needs. Overall, it’s an excellent tool for boosting productivity and improving teamwork.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that all servers are still located in the USA, which raises concerns regarding GDPR compliance and data privacy for European users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet makes it easy to track progress, manage timelines, and assign tasks.
Great innovation for project and task management
What do you like best about the product?
Easy dashboard to use, has similarity like Mic Excel which I have familiar with its operation. I use it daily for to track daily task and collaborate with team to track task status which lead to easy project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks of option for interface customization. Can't change text font or to differentiate task status with different color.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage different project simultenously and keep project status in real-time.
Easy to use, very powerful, requires some learning
What do you like best about the product?
Being no-code solution, that enables users from different walk of business use it effectively. NOT knowing coding doesn't restrict users to setup workflows, notification and process digitization apart from doing project and portfolio tracking. It can help stream line day to day process.
Open API helps with integration with other 3rd party tools. Seemless connect with MSFT Teams makes it single channel utility for most users.

What do you dislike about the product?
While its easy to configure and use for all technical and non-technical users. It does require first time user some coaching or guidance. Because the possiblities are so vast, usually individuals dont get to different aspect on their own. Jumping hands-on without going through their learning material is a receipe to get lost, frustrated or setting up something inefficient solution.
Learning content and material is very well structured and in lot of details, Would recommend all new users to start from Smartsheet University learning track. it has very condensed and crisp learning material.
Also premium support and partner teams have good training to support.

It is digitizing process which are paper or email or chat based. Helping easy tracking and collecting data while working on complex project and transition management

I appreciate the ease with which Smartsheet allows for data collection and the creation of visually appealing dashboards. It is highly effective for project and task management. It's fantastic that there are numerous tools and resources available to assist when I need clarification or support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would welcome more opportunities for branding and customization, particularly in form design. Additionally, I would like the ability to share entire folders with individuals, rather than just the full environment or specific sheets.

Great for Project Management with Loads of Customization!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the different views and reports you can generate allow you to view your different projects in a myriad of ways. Plus the collaboration that is possible makes Smartsheet a great option.
What do you dislike about the product?
What is challenging about Smartsheet is that while there is a ton of capability with the software, learning how to use it can be a bit overwhelming. The sheer number of training videos available is a deterrent as you try to find what you are looking for and trying to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps with the projects we have in our pipeline by providing a place where we can track the status of projects and be able to communicate across our team about project details. It also provides a visual layout of what projects are at which status so we can keep moving things forward. Though we have not had the opportunity to use the workflows we look forward to utilizing that feature soon.

The dashboard with the analysis report and status check is very helpful for muli projects management.

The speadsheet or the provided template is hard to manage a complicated /multi levels project.

It is very helpful for me to track and analysis multi projects.
Amazing for collaboration and sharing data across multiple teams
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet makes it easy for multiple teams to stay updated on production timelines. Being able to frequently check timelines massively reduces miscommunication and streamlines the messaging we give our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the creating of new sheets/dashboards can be quite complex if you are new. Maybe more tips and guides (like a step-by-step creation wizard) can be beneficial
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps onboarding customers and tracking their progress and usage of products over the year which cannot be efficiently tracked without smartsheet. It also helps teams get the most accurate timelines of new and updated products from overseas production teams.
