A User-Friendly Tool with More to Explore Beyond the Basics
What do you like best about the product?
What I find most helpful about Smartsheet is how intuitive it is, making it easy to navigate and manage projects. It's also really versatile, which allows me to organize tasks and collaborate with my team efficiently. I appreciate that it integrates smoothly with Microsoft Office, which streamlines my workflow and makes things even more productive.
The biggest upsides for me are its flexibility and the way it scales to different project needs. It helps keep everyone on the same page, and the automation features save me time on repetitive tasks. Plus, the reporting and dashboards offer great insights, which is really useful for tracking progress.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Smartsheet is that while it’s powerful, it can be a bit overwhelming at times, especially when trying to explore its more advanced features. I also find that some of the customization options could be more intuitive. Occasionally, it feels like I need to spend extra time figuring out how to set things up the way I want, which can be a bit frustrating when I'm trying to move quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving the problem of keeping projects organized and on track, especially when managing multiple tasks and collaborating with a team. It's really beneficial because it centralizes all my project information in one place, so I don't have to juggle between different tools or worry about things slipping through the cracks.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to track the samples and send automatic emails to people who I need information from. The visual tools (e.g. checks, stars...) and the automations make it better than an excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very restrictive (for example in the way automations can be set), the rows work as if they were completely independent from each other, the support is not very useful (most of the time via forum, and 1:1 support takes time) and the feedback is not taken in account by Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to track the patient samples from different clinical programs, the quality documentation and the report's tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets capabilities it has are endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily Smartsheet related however it could improve with its customer service. We had been waiting for a critical fix which rendered our account from being used for 3 months. We were still paying for it for 3 months!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the capabilities of Smartsheets - especially the fact that individuals Sheets (and Cells) can speak to one another. I use Smartsheets on a daily occurance to help ensure that my work is organized and accurate. I trust Smartsheets to provide accurate data based on the information I require or request and the visually appealing dashboards aid in the success of my team and our client needs. The live support is extremely useful to help solve problems or obstacles that inevitably come up.
It has been super easy to integrate into our team based on the needs of our business - it covers off on everything we need!
I have been super impressed with the ease of the transition from Excell to Smartsheets - it has (and continues to) exceed my expectations.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Smartsheets had the capability of tabs!!! It is super important for our business needs to have all of the information we need in one place - especially as projects pivot. Tabs would solve this issue!
I would also love to be able to format within cells - highlight specific words, indent/bullet lists within cells and bold specific words within cells.
Lastly, a more robust calendar view!!

The biggest problem Smartsheets is solving is connecting data from multiple sources and updating accordingly!

Saves time with workflows that handle repetitive tasks automatically. Offers a quick overview of project progress and key metrics. Works well with tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
May slow down with large data sets or complex formulas. The mobile app has limited features compared to the desktop version.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been rather user friendly and easy for new people on my team to navigate. I also like that there are smartsheet trainings offered throughought the year, making it a wonderful resource for those who are looking to develop their skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the rounding within smartsheets can be a pain. When transferring budgets from a Microsoft Excel into Smartsheets, often times there is a variance/discrepancy due to rounding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows multiple people to be in a document at once with live updates made by multiple people. This streamlines efficiency and increases team productivity.

It should has more options to make reports or graphics.

Its benefiting me because I can work on differents documents and all of my co-workers can see it and edit it if they need to do it.
Awesome Project Management Tool for Development Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet is fairly easy to use and figure out for first time users, and advanced users have the ability to link projects together seamlessly once they understand the functionality
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few restrictions in Smartsheet that can present some challenges, and sometimes you don't know those limitations until you need to use a specific feature or update a process. (I can't think of anything specific right now, but definitely ran into an issue with updating permissions on a recent project)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration that was previously handled/managed through Google Docs.

I love that SmartSheet can seamlessly have multiple collaborators in one document. Other platforms and software say they do but I have found it's a lot easier with SmartSheet.

I do wish in terms of formulas it was similar to Excel it would make it a lot easier for continued efficiency.

It allows for great project management based on organizational and collaborating capabilities. It enables us to avoid missing deadlines and know what is ahead for the year.
