Canvas has really embraced Smartsheet and been using it effectively as a workflow management tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been very helpful for teams needing to track projects with many moving parts. It allows for easy sharing across the agency and with partner teams. An excellent workflow management tool that allows folks to keep on top of pending items, and sharing info.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I don't really have a downfall of Smartsheet itself but don't always find Customer Support overly helpful. I feel like we are often given blanket answers vs someone really working with us to resolve issues. I also don't always feel like all the questions asked are answered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for better collaboration & coordination across teams.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet provides a number of different options (tools) for the work that I do to manage my work. I can use the kanban boards for easily moving tasks around and the dashboard features for showing how things are progressing.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I like the kanban boards, they can get overwhelming and messy. Maybe that is just a way our organization is using them.

Organizing of publishing tasks for website updates.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers great collaboration space for folks from org to work on projects together, as long they have approval access to the workspace from the admins. It saves time for the PMs in remembering when to send additional reminder and reduces email traffics that are often missed with the automation workflow in notifying the users under certain set of rules.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few things about Smartsheets which I dont like it.
1. Automation workflow - it doesnt allow a Custom on recurrence reminder setting based on Specific Field - i.e. Project Deadline Date. With this, I have to set several Automation workflow trigger to Run Once based on specific field for 1 day before, 3 days before, 5 days before and etc.
2. As I started standardizing and set summary for dashboards, I selected all smartsheets from specific folder to ease the need to do constant update to dashboards. However, I later found that I will have to continuously reselect the the folder so it picks the new sheets if there are any added to the folder. I particularly dont like this because there are several different users managing the project and I wont know when there are new sheets added to the same folder.
3. On a recent working session with the users, I found that the dashboard does not get updated accurately after the users enter data to the sheets. It was a specific field in the sheets that was formulated. I'm not sure if there's a refreshed schedule but I had to go into the sheets and force some changes so it shows in the dashboard.
4. In most cases, we have several projects running at the same time with the same user and through creation of dashboard on specific team, it helps show what projects that this user/SME from this team need to work on. But it does require the user to go into each sheets to update their task. It would be great if user can update their task through this view in dashboard which would then write back to the sheets and save their time.
5. As we get more projects to work, same SME/user may be bombarded with lot emails or automation workflow from several projects during the same week. It would be great if Smartsheets can send summary of automation workflow for the same user once a week. This tool may reduce the email traffics for the PMs but it's not reducing the email traffic for SME/user.

In a word - great!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about smartsheet is the robust automation, formatting, grouping, and interconnectivity between the separate components. I also like that it is integrated with zapier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that there is not an option or ability to see real time updataes ala google drive. I think if it had optionally had that it would be the best software in the space.

Primarily, it tracks our project bids and the flow of orders through our system.

What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to use and the customizable features are excellent. Training additonal employees to use it and understand it regarding implementation is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a downside or negative feature, but having to back out and select other folders to toggle back and forth between sheets.

Ease of Smartsheet Utilization
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about Smartsheet is how easy it is to you and the templates provided. I have had quite a few projects, such as creating a timeline, that I wasn't sure where to start. By Smartsheets having a template, it allowed me to create a project and starting using right away. The ease of implementation is fantastic and I use it everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the templates can be a little too complicated and I wish there were easier instructions. Otherwise, formatting and every day use is pretty easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I contstantly have to share projects, tasks, and details with others. Smartsheet allows multiple individuals to be updating and adding content at the same time, which makes it very easy to use. Smartsheet is solving the issue of regular documents having multiple versions because everyone is working at once in real time.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is essentially a spreadsheet that users are able to collaborate on in real time which is very helpful to a number of our processes. We use it on a daily basis and it hosts a number of our core processes. We have also integrated it with Microsoft tools in order to create dynamic dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that columns do not have dynamic fields (for example if in one column you enter a particular continent, in the country column the system is not able to automatically only provide you with the countries in that particular continent). Formulas are also less intuitive to write in Smartsheet as opposed to Excel

The storage of information that needs to be updated on a frequent basis by multiple users at once
Smart Tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Tagging and analytics dashboards tied to project management functions. Customer support and ease of integration are also quality aspects of the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep learning curve for functions for users who are used to comparable platforms.
