Multiple use and functions
What do you like best about the product?
There's a range of uses for Smartsheet and the ability to easily navigate and customize features to meet the needs of projects works great. There's a wide range of programs to import/export data from.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's limitations on some functions in regards to functions and calendars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet provides a platform that the project team all has accesss to and has the ability to view "live".
I have used Smartsheet for two years overall it has been a positive experience.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that smartsheet allows multiple people to work on projects at the same time in real time. Love the customization we can do on form submissions. we have been using it to plan a lot of our events.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is frustrating tha the system is down so often since we have so much of our business relying on it. Wish we could see the last save when this happens since it often leaves us flying blind when we are trying to organize events and such. feels like we struggle to get answers when we are working with customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a pretty specific use cae. Our team mostly uses it to track sales and update external teams that need to make contact with the purchaser. We tend to use it in a way that is more similar to excel
Easy way to keep things organized with a team!
What do you like best about the product?
One of my most used items is the "Forms"! So easy to make a nice looking form and send the link to anyone. I also love the calendar and all the features that come with it. I can few it in spreadsheet form or by month. They also make it super easy to embed in a website! They also make it so easy to navigate!
What do you dislike about the product?
I like that it is simple, but I wish some of the formulas from excelt transferred over a little better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I share an excel sheet with the team, sometimes they get lost, or formulas get messed up. Smartsheets is all in one place, clean, easy and straightforward to use.
Easy to Use and Efficient Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we are able to customize the sheets to each individual event that we are hosting using the main template that we created. It is also great that all our team members are able to utilize the same platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it was like google sheets where it updated live without having to save and refresh.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us create project goals and action items with accountability and timelines associated to all items.
Smartsheets is a great tool for sharing outside of your company
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is great for sharing information and tracking data, especially when I am sharing data outside of my company. It's extremely easy to access and set up and it works well that we can pay for it as a company and then contractors that work for us can use it as well (for free as far as they are concerned.) I love that it's accessible from any web browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheets' formulas are a bit confusing, and it's not always easy to tell where the formula is linked to. The smartsheet also has limitations as to the number of cells/columns in the sheet, and we have ran out of cells in our smartsheet before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to easily collaborate with my internal and external colleagues to pass information back and forth, and gives visibility to the client as well as all the people working on the project. It also provides nice visuals that I can set up to run from the data that are helpful to give me a good overview of where we stand with main project deliverables, and whether they are late. It saves me time by not having to track everything myself, and I don't have to create new visuals myself - the tool does it for me once it's set up.

What do you like best about the product?
As a professional point of view it gives more wider space to customization capabilities, multiple task management, tracking, commenting column for other team members, Upload options and so many.

sometimes it gets bit difficult when navigating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking, Task and workflow is the best when it comes to SmartSheet which saves us time which is critical in business point of view
Smartsheet is an efficient tool to manage tasks, share updates and use workflows for communication.
What do you like best about the product?
The use of user-friendly forms associated with grids in really efficient for data entries. Displaying the same data in a grid or using a gantt chart is also purposeful in understanding project scope and time line.
What do you dislike about the product?
Applying default filters in grid is something which can be looked upon, provided the same sheet is shared among many users. It will restrict users to view data in a restricitve way & which is more appropriate to be displayed. Dropdownlist should have ability to populate data based on dynamic content. RLS can also be explored as part of standar licensing norms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to categorize data using different template views such as grid, card or gantt chart is something which helps me in managing work break down structures (WBS). Importing data from excel or csv is also an efficient feature. I like the workflow management as I can trigger email notifications if there is any action to shared data. It is quite simple to implement which is not that intuitive in other project management tools. Smart forms is something which saves time a lot if you need to pull in data (like surveys etc.) from many users. It hardly take few minutes to actually create a form and publish it. Indentation (as a collapsible tree) is also good as one can aggregate figure & get holistic results based on grouping & summarizing.

Smartsheet is a really easy to use tool. It helps us to simplify our tasks and make our team more efficient and productive in project management.

Dashboard customizations can be improved to some extent.

It helps to accomplish our task in time and boosts overall efficiency of our project.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the versatility of Smartsheet. I can use it for many different types of projects, ranging from simple to complex and tailor it in real time to meet the needs of both my colleagues and my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is difficult to troubleshoot certain workflow or sheet to sheet automations when I run into issues. There are many resources within Smartsheet, but finding the right answer for a specific issue is not always easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to customize different programs for different clients in real time. I specifically enjoy managing rollout style programs in Smartsheet, because it allows me to host everything in one place. I can alert my clients and colleagues of key dates, milestones, attach photos and files, schedule automatic follow ups based on dates, and more. I mainly use Smartsheet to design Sheets for just this purpose and it is extremely effective.
Excellent Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The ability have lots of information in a single location and the ability for multiple users to work on the same projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when saving it can be a bit slow.

It is solving the problem of having to send multiple files to different people. Everything can be accessed in one location.
