Helpful & user-friendly tool for business data illustration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet every week for my work tasks and team collaboration. It's a great tool and very easy to use. I like the templates library as well when wanting to create a sheet for certain types of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to facilitate cross-connections among different Smartsheets. Merging title column isn't an option. Training for new users isn't a proactive process. We have to contact for training support and it's not available on the tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highly collaborations and CRM connections. I love how Smartsheet and integrate with Salesforce for task managment.
Easy to use and Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers a lot of templates to use for project management that have been very helpful. I have loved using Smartsheet to help our organization implementing process flows. The easy to activate automations have saved us a lot of time and helped keep us organized. The Smartsheet community is great and if you utilize their user boards you can generally find answers to any questions you have in a very short amoutn of time. The customer success managers are very invested in making sure that you have what you need to be succesful.
What do you dislike about the product?
When trying to build out more complex workflows it does take a good bit of knowledge about about different formula usage. Some of the formulas that you may be more used to in a system like excel don't always translate easily in smartsheet language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet calendars as a source of truth for our organization. It has become an easy place for people across departments to reference what is happening and when for thigs like marketing promotions and new product launches. Smartsheet has helped to solve our unique problems when it comes to proccess implementation. We have been able to streamline our workflows a great deal by implementing various Smartsheet work flows.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful function of smartsheet is cumulative advantage and simplification of my work if I am using smartsheet for more projects and my personal tasks prioritization all in one. Similar to compare with Apple ecosystem - if you use more apple product the easier it gets for user. Gain is visible iif my sheets and reports are standardized. Automation helps a lot in this case. I like how easy is to manage tasks, overall project daily management is extremly easy (automatic notification about updates, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
It is limited in the creation of dashboards. I am unable to use the dashboard for the automatic report that is sent to my manager each week. I would welcome more dashboard features and scaling options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deliver projects on time. Cooperation with external partners / suppliers in projects. Quick overview for my manager, what is project status. Collaboration across departments within company.
Smartshet for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very easy to learn and use. The flow of the software is very similar to other classic project management tools like MS Project. However, it is much easier to share information with the team as an online digital tool. It is easy to setup teams and other users to keep updated or edit sheets as well. Being able to assign tasks to other users and notify by email is very helpful. The dashboards are a great way of sharing that information with management teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboards do take some time to setup. However, once they are established they require little effort to maintain. Smartsheet has put effort into making these dashboards easier to create in recent updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, I use this tool to manage timelines in our NPD projects. Previously, we had other tools such as MS Project, which were difficult to share unless all users had licenses. With Smartsheet, you can establish the level of access needed for each user. For most of our management team, they only need free viewing accounts, making it far easier to share the information we want them to see. This allows the users who need more intensive project management tools to get the tools they need, while maintaining an easy way to share those outputs with the leadership teams.

The use of formulas has some limitations and sometimes the copy-pasting does not work and will break it

The interface is very appealing and very easy to navigate.

the less intuitive formulas. It would great if this could be more Exce like.

Great at collation of infomration and project status overviews.
Seamless and Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is pretty seamless. Ability to load Excel sheets is useful. Integrates pretty well with Excel. I use it for my daily tasks as well. The customer support team has been always available to schedule meetings. Since it can be opened in an app as well as a browser, it is easy to access my Smartsheet Workplaces from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitation like being not able to create timelines on a calendar. The new calendar view is an improvement, but needs more work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a single stop shop for both my process improvement activites, root cause analysis tracking, and project management. Not having to use multiple platforms to achieve all these things is very time saving.
Good sheet for tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I like you can track projects, mark complete and make steps to do to get to the final process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not see a section to do dates and reminders but it could be an oversight on my part.

How to stay on track with goals and projects and being able to see it all in one place
Simple and versatile interface is easy to navigate and helps keep information centralized.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to integrate, and my team uses Smartsheets on a daily basis to track progresses on our tasks. We implement Smartsheets across various departments to help consolidate information which has helped reduce meetings and allowed us to support each other in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The feature to grant access to users. It is a little challenging adding new users and granting them access to SmartSheets. It can be finnicky when selecting tasks to certain users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing unnecessary needs of communication and allows different teams to pull and reference the same information across the board.
