Great collaborative spreadsheet and tools
What do you like best about the product?
Smarsheet is intuitive, reliable, and helps teams collaborate and be more productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once in a while it can be a bit slow to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps diffent parts of our organization collaborate and keep track of what is going on. It gives colleagues the ability to monitor testing and analysis at a glance and includes automation so required parties are notified when others in the organization are waiting on someone.
A solid app for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent UI, ease and very straightforward way of usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing is a bit confusing. If I remove one person's access to one sheet, they lose access to the whole workspace. That must be removed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives me the timeline and project management tool, which I can use to plan my projects. The ability to add predecessors and link tasks is very useful.
Projects Manager Best friend
What do you like best about the product?
It's based on the Excel system, so it's perfect for formulas, reports, and dashboards. In addition to the automated reminder which makes the followup process very smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features don't work like merging cells.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing Projects and following up on team tasks, Documentation, and memorizing of main information, Automation, and features of Dashboards. All of them were gabs and smartsheet solved it.
Smartsheet improved our teams collaboration and communication and is easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Great collaboration tool as it allowed multiple team members to work on the same sheet simultaneously. The ability to share sheets, leave comments, and attach files streamlines communication and reduces the need for back-and-forth emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be more advanced dependency management features as well as reporting capbailities. An offline mode would be helpful as well for when users are traveling and have limited connectivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping us improve on communication and collaboration. It keeps project teams on task and allows the team to clearly know whos responsible for what task and when the expected delivery time is as well as call out dependencies.
Accelerating our Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been a terrific tool to help our non-profit organization manage larger projects with a team in varying locations. Lots of helpful templates, in our case I created my own for the team since it was a unique task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing. We are a medium-sized nonprofit and the bottom line costs are important.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet delivers a strong platform to manage our unique (non-profit) projects. Offers great reporting and task alerts. Easy to use collaborative platform.
Great user friendly system to keep connected on projects.
What do you like best about the product?
The connections for all employees to be able to see everything with the project and how the alerts work with pictures. These connections and alerts are also easy to build for a normal user.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting is a bit limitied, had to create a seperate page just to do some calculation to pull that into the reports. If some automatic calculations were added that would be great.

Smartsheets abliltiy to connect to other systems has help our team out.

Smartsheet Review as a Project Manager Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and functionality. The platform is quick to learn and then easy to proliferate across the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adoption rate could be better. This doesnt seem to be a software challenge but more about how we prove the value to Users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing and streamlining our project management process to improve schedule, organize deliverables and allow stakeholders more visibility.
Make your sheets share information through cell linking
What do you like best about the product?
I like to the cell link feature which allows me to type in registration counts and financial numbers into a master sheet, automatically feed them to the margin calculation sheet, and have that sheet feed back the margin number. I have a master task sheet that I use daily to track course registrations and everything that needs to be done.
Other features that I enjoy are the different categories you can choose for columns (date, symbols, numbers, created by, contact list and more); task list templates, and ability to quickly switch views (grid view, card view, Gantt and calendar)
When my team is using SmartSheet is it is easy to assign tasks to other team members, attach reference files and links to rows, and build dashboards to summarize information.

There are not as many features as the desktop of Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet saves me time in manually entering registration and cost tracking info into one sheet and transferring it to the master sheet. Once I set up the cost tracking sheet and link the cells, everything is automatic. The ease of color coding also helps me keep my information sorted visually. When I work on a project with a lot of other people, creating simple task lists and assigning tasks is very simpl.
Sharable excel workbooks beyond google sheets
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very helpful working with serveral teams across a broad range of skill levels. We have engineers, sales members, and technicians that all utilize the functionality for daily task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to be able to create charts (pie, bar, line, etc.) and struggle to make smartsheet work so I end up using exporting data into Excel and then uploading images back into smartsheet as a work around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet replaced an excel spreadsheet for project status and tracking. It allows several people to view all at once, removes the read-only issues and is interactive with the ability to 'tag' people. Really, it streamlined the process of scheduling time to open and edit the excel sheet.
