Great tool for organization between several departments.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has changed the way our department works. We created several intakes and submission forms that makes the company operations run more efficiently. Over the past year we have continued to build out dynamic views and new intakes which has led to our operations running very smooth. It is very easy to learn and get new people onboarded. Our department uses Smartsheet to track every project the company is working on. I use this for about 80% of my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one downside I have with Smartsheet is over the past few months there seems to be a lot more outages than normal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The visibility into all company projects in one place is a game changer. You can customize sheets to track data exactly how you want. Linking sheets together is a very simple process and this allows other departments to have visibility on workflow of any particular project. We also use Smartsheet's to manage our budgets.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has all the capabilities of microsoft excel. In fact, you can import and export excel files. But the true power of smartsheet lies in its forms, automation, and dashboards. Tracking related information through multiple sheets has drastically improved our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to get everyone on the team onboard to using Smartsheet. If something can be accomplished by Google Calendar, Docs, or Drive, that is usually the preference. It has been very difficult to get people to even open a Sheet when you first have to create an account, get permissions, and be logged in to look at it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My workplace is collaborating with 7 different groups all around the country on a project. It has been difficult to get everyone on the same page and to keep all the groups updated. Smartsheet has unified (at least some aspects of) the project and allowed us to keep everyone updated in real time.
Smartsheet keeps our company moving!
What do you like best about the product?
Using Smartsheet helps our company be more efficient. With accessibility to all of the information that our team members need, it keeps us all in the know. Customer service and support is always on point as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say that we have had much trouble at all with Smartsheet. When we do have an issue, customer support resolves it quickly.

Smartsheet enables our team members to be knowledgable about what's going on in the company. It fosters greater communication and collaboration.
Great way to keep track of projects and payments
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using this product for a while now, and overall, I'm happy with it. I use it to track small projects and create payment-related sheets. The fact that it's available online is great, and it's also great that I can use it on my phone through the app, which is convenient. I use it a few times a week. Overall, it's a great product that offers convenience and functionality, but I'd love to see an improvement in the login process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is one small issue that I find a bit frustrating. When I visit the website, I have to log in again, even when using the same device every day. It's a minor inconvenience, but it does interrupt the experience. It may be improving as it is not requiring me to login every time I visit the website anymore.

It helps me keep everything in one place - my projects, tasks, and documents.

What do you like best about the product?
Using the integration capabilities allowed us to do:
SmartSheet Integration with Zapier, through Gravity Forms - where all recruitment application data feeds into various SmartSheets. From the sheets, a dashboard is used to give information the application tracking and status of candidates. This streamlined our recruitment process tremendiously!
SmartSheet Integrations with Microsoft Outlook and Power Automate streamline timesheets in a 100% remote working environment. We have timelogs SmartSheets for every staff member, and using the intergration it pulls all the data from calenders into the correct employee timesheets. This means no manual capture of time and hours is needed, which is a huge timesaver for staff. This in turn, makes it easy for Project Managers to consolidate hours that needs to be billed etc. With the Report Summary view you get in SmartSheets, it makes it even easier to seperate billiable from unbillable hours by using the various filter options available.
SmartSheets Forms is a great add on and super easy to setup. We use the forms for our internal staff to keep our staff data up to date, using the automated workflow to send out emails to the staff with the information that needs to completed.

What do you dislike about the product?
For more complex requirements, it can become challenging and may require additional add-ons or contracting in a SmartSheet professional, which can incur extra costs. For instance, while the resource management add-on is highly valuable, it is an expensive add-on for smaller company like ourselves. It would be beneficial to offer these add-ons at a more cost-effective rate for companies with fewer than 20 employees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets lets us bring together multiple tools into one place, where we can manage and work with the data we need in a central place. The Automation running via Power Automate, captures our staff timesheets directly from their outlook calendards which eliminates errors and ensures billing is done correctly. The automated emails and notifications, assist with our internal process flows which helps saves time. This really enhanced our productivity in a remote working environment. Providing just an dashboard view to non-licenced users is also greatly beneficial, were teams can see revelant information without having to the masterdata of sheets.

What do you like best about the product?
This software is ideal for project management, enabling the recording and updating of all project-related information in one place. The entire team can frequently check the software to monitor overall progress, making it a powerful tool that significantly reduces the project manager's communication workload. It's highly effective for managing projects and also serves as a valuable repository for all development records
What do you dislike about the product?
I think this software can added in AI function to help PM manage the project more effectively and also can immediate link to outlook and share to the team whenever anyone update in smart sheet.

Mainly use for project update, project milestone management, project information share to the team.
It has helped me better track procurement
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can include attachments onto rows so that everything is in one place which simplifies tracking procurement, dockets and invoices all in one place with the spreadsheet information for the shipment all in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really say much because I haven't delved deep into smarsheets yet so I'm confident my dislikes have an answer some but for my use of trakcing procurement it has simplified this process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's letting me keep track of invoices, dockets and quotes per each order made for our projects and saves us time when consolidating invoices
