What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive it is to build organization-wide reports and tracking-spreadsheets for our small business that I can share internally or use personally.
What do you dislike about the product?
The top-level business tier is expensive and requires that you pay for 3 users, even though our firm only needs 2 licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an accountant, historically I've managed my workflow and project tracking in excel. After giving Smartsheet a try, I discovered there are so many additional features in the SS worksheets platform that I really value. I can quickly and easily create custom columns with data constrainst that would otherwise be clunky and cumbersome in excel. This makes workflow management much easier for me and my small business.

What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity, easily shared and accessed. Easily modified and printed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to schedule weekend work as needed in specific areas of the schedule. A quick reference on predecessor formuyla would be helpful.

The platform’s pricing structure is particularly attractive for educational institutions with limited budgets, providing robust functionality without breaking the bank. Additionally, Smartsheet offers a wealth of training resources that have been instrumental in getting our team up to speed. From comprehensive guides to interactive webinars, these resources have made adoption smooth and efficient. The intuitive interface and collaborative features have streamlined our project management and administrative processes, enhancing productivity and teamwork across departments. Overall, Smartsheet’s affordability and extensive training support make it a highly recommended tool for institutions seeking a cost-effective, user-friendly project management solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet excels in many areas, there are notable limitations that could benefit from enhancement. One key area for improvement is the customization of fonts and icon images in forms. Currently, there is no customization, which restricts accessibility (i.e. peple who can't read small font). More flexibility in font choices and the ability to control the size and position of custom icons would greatly enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our forms. Additionally, improved customization options would help ensure that our forms align better with our institution’s unique requirements and improve overall user experience. Addressing these limitations would make Smartsheet an even more powerful tool for educational institutions.

Smartsheet has significantly streamlined our grant management process by centralizing all related information into one easily accessible platform. Previously, tracking grants involved juggling multiple spreadsheets and documents, leading to inefficiencies and missed deadlines. With Smartsheet, we now have a unified workspace where all grant-related data—such as application details, funding schedules, and compliance requirements—is consolidated. The platform’s task assignment feature allows us to delegate responsibilities to specific team members, ensuring clear accountability and streamlined workflow. Additionally, Smartsheet’s robust deadline monitoring tools provide visibility into upcoming milestones and due dates, helping us stay on track and meet all grant requirements. This centralized approach not only enhances our organizational efficiency but also reduces the risk of oversight and errors, ultimately improving our ability to manage and secure funding effectively.

The software app (standalone) felt useless since it was probably just a web browser

I wish SmartSheet had tabs like Excel does and that it autosaved.

it organizes my data by categories i select and makes it easier to retrieve

i wont say dslike but rather more confusing that you cannot duplicate a form and edit it using a different share link

it gathers the data i need especially the rsvp's and I can use the necessary filters to track down the list
Easy to stay organized
What do you like best about the product?
It's really savvy and convenient to use, especially when it comes to uploading information into a form and having it go into spreadsheet format. Helps me keep track of tasks and all their details.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using it with large groups of people, it can sometimes be hard to sift through all the information and see what you need to see easily. But luckily you can create filters so you only see what's relevant to you.

Smartsheet helps organize creative tasks that need to be fulfilled so our creative team can create assets quickly and easily, on the marketing timeline that we need them to.
Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
One the of the most parts of smartsheets is the versatility it has. The Ability to have multiple people intercat with a sheet alows for easy progreess logging of projects. The Comments feature alows you to ask questions on specific cells elminating the guessing work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The One downside I do have is that they dont have time stamps for updates. I think that would very sufull to be abale to see when someone updated a specific cell and have like a history log of changes per cell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has allowed us to keep track of submmittal progess as well as overall project progress. We are able to log when things are comeplete and see what we have left
