Really helpful for billing, collaboration and training
What do you like best about the product?
We utilize smartsheet for billing. Its easy to recreate on dashboard and mimic for the rest of my clients
What do you dislike about the product?
one we publish our dashboards we can still manipulate dates which can through off our process.

Smartsheet vs. Microsoft Project: A User-Friendly Approach to Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is super easy to use. The way it looks and works is simple and friendly, so even people who don’t know much about project stuff can use it. Microsoft Project is kinda confusing and has too many things going on, but Smartsheet is different. You can start your projects fast without getting lost. Even though it’s simple, it still has everything you need to get work done and work with your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, I got kinda annoyed 'cause Smartsheet looks like Excel but doesn’t work the same way. I kept trying to use Excel shortcuts, but they didn’t work, and that was frustrating. But after using Smartsheet more, I got used to it and don’t mind it anymore. It didn’t take long to learn, and Smartsheet’s good stuff made up for the little problems I had at the start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has made it way easier for people to help out in my projects. Since it’s so easy to use, even team members who aren’t good with tech can do stuff in the project. Now, I don’t have to do everything by myself, which saves time and makes sure the info is right and up-to-date. Smartsheet’s teamwork stuff makes it easy for everyone to join in, so our projects run better and faster.

What do you like best about the product?
I think that's a really the easiest way to manage tasks and align everybody so they can see the overall picture of what's ahead I find it's the easiest way to get all of the tasks in one place and then assign those tasks and manage them so as great peace of mind with that
What do you dislike about the product?
Not everybody loves gun charts um so sometimes it can be challenging to get people to buy into using the system but usually reminding that they can just see a grid view is enough to get them started
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smart child allows me to plan and change the plan as developing projects are ongoing so I can create placeholders for future stages set some baselines and targets but where I need to change I can easily change and I can breakdown and I just keep adding child tasks as things come up so that we can keep everything in one place
Very easy for team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Very straght forward, it's just like the excel we are using on a daily basis,
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime the data will be disappreared when I was typing for some reasons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using smartsheet, the live data provides the updates and progress when doing team project. we use smartsheet to commincate with Software developemt team as well, it's a good place to keep all the comminication.

sometimes it i tricky to find the preferred templates or use APIs.

Great feature bundle and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a user friendly project management solution having the simplicity of spreadsheets is combined with strong features like automation and real-time collaboration . It's excellent for groups trying to organize work more efficiently, but it could feel constrained for intricate projects. Even while it can be expensive for smaller teams, it's still a good option for productive, cooperative work management.

Smartsheet can be a bit on the expensive side for smaller teams and may not give as many advanced features needed for more complex project management

By offering a consolidated platform for real-time project management, Smartsheet solves broken workflows and ineffective teamwork. Task tracking, team coordination, and meeting deadlines are all made simpler by its automation tools and configurable dashboards, which also improve productivity and decision-making.
Highly customizable for projects but lags with Mobile app functionality

Smartsheet offers great customization, allowing users to tailor it to fit various project management methodologies and workflows.

While mobile access is available, the mobile experience might not be as vital or intuitive as the desktop version.

Improving visibility through real-time information updates and customizable dashboards.

The ability to use it anywhere that has an internet conenction and add as many users as needed

NOt much technical support, or sales people willing to help
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no logner have to store or records on paper and in folders/inders. Everythign is stored online and easily searchable
Webforms are amazing!
What do you like best about the product?
Building webforms and tracking responses to them are very efficient and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had only positive experiences with SmartSheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was problematic for us when there wasn't conditional formatting in the webform but that has been solved and it works very well.
A Very Positive Experience, albeit with a limited scope of use
What do you like best about the product?
The thing that I like best about Smartsheet is the relative low burden to training for my coworkers, at least for basic use of the shared Sheets. Before I had a lot of information on Excel that required sharing and communication with coworkers daily/weekly which caused a lot of communication issues. This has cut down on those issues immensely. The notification emails when users make changes have also been incredibly helpful, as has customer service and online forums to implement things like workflow automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a dropdown style filter choice for filtering a column- it is possible that there is and I just missed it. Also I love that I can attach things for a certain row but I wish the designation that there is an attachments was larger/clearer. Otherwise most of my issues are with my tech illiterate coworkers and not the platform :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cutting down on an immense amount of bureaucratic communication. As a tech person this was my biggest headache at work before!
