Wonderful
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Smartsheet. It very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't have more than one person working on it at the same time.

Smartsheet is versatile
What do you like best about the product?
It is very versatile and lets you deploy it for a large number of purposes, including online forms, workflows, task and project management, inventories, checklists etc. etc. Other good points are the speed and (mostly) helpful customer support, ease of starting with the software (as mostly very intuitive).
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain features that are very counterintuitive, and one would think they could be changed, but for unclear reasons they are not being addressed. Example, the calendar week starts on a Sunday. This goes counter to the conventions of many countries in the world, and has been a open request of the Smartsheet community for at least 7 years now. Also, we are using Smartsheet for internal reminders, and that could be handled more efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows to have an annual calendar, which integrates with outlook. Allows easy task and project management in a number of dynamic group constallations. Allows internal reminders and simple workflows. Has neat eForm features, that are easy to use and quick to implement. It is a great tool for all inventories, checklists and overview tables. It has a very good Gantt Chart option, which is great for planning purposes.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Some dashboarding features could be improved, such as the chart widget - not much room to customise
- Workapps should be able to be published with an embed link, whilst it's a good feature this is a real hinderence
- Can sometimes be slow/problems loading sheets
- Not being able to have multiple tabs in one sheet
- Pivot table functionality is very poor, no option to filter and only one column type
- Not being able to update multiple sheet columns in a control centre update. This makes updates to blueprint sheets very time consuming
- Auditing tools could be improved
- Workapps should be able to be published with an embed link, whilst it's a good feature this is a real hinderence

- Ease of setting up projects using the same blueprint speeds up implementation
- Creation of dashboards and consolidating in one place, rather than having to use multiple platforms
- Similar to the above, the ability to mainly work in one place
- Problems with key information being surfaced with stakeholders is made easy with Smartsheet

User friendly platform
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to navigate through the platform
What do you dislike about the product?
Forms doesn't allow an electronic signature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now do electronic Site Inductions, eliminating the need for paper trails. Forms are completed online and automatically populate a register with all attachments. This streamlines the process, making it faster and more convenient for everyone.

What do you like best about the product?
Have been using Smartsheet for a number of years, when transitioning to new business, I personally created an account as I find it extremely useful and versatile for my role.

Some of the templates can be a little confusing with minimal instruction on funcunality

Im able to keep track of mulitple projects and internal references without having to search through countless files.

What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity for monodimensional projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Less suitable for multiple projects with people shared across projects, as Smartsheet does not enable reports to be produced for each person to see all their assigned tasks across multiple projects, nor does it advise where staff are over-allocated with work

What do you like best about the product?
-That the sheets, reports, and dashboards are all linked reducing redundant information transfer.
-For reporting, can filter, group, summarize, and sort to create specific reports for specific information and relay to a dashboard in many different ways so the information can be visually represented.
-Clients have relayed the appeal of using dashboards to relay project progress and can create specific sections for individual needs of each project.

What do you dislike about the product?
-Does not have global edit. With creating a project management platform from scratch to suite our business needs, it is necessary to modify sheets with additional criteria as we understand what we want to record. When we have 90+ projects in process, this create a lot of work to add any criteria to each individual sheet to populate globally on an all projects report.
-Copy & Paste does not work well from outside of SmartSheets for text and/ or pics in cells.
-In some cases, drop down list items will not summarize counts in reports or is not an option to summarize from.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real time collaboration on information updates between all parties; eg.. Clients, third parties, and remote project managers. Transparency into project overall health, issues, etc.. that can be coordinated in one place through remote locations.
Versatile for both simple and complex project management needs
What do you like best about the product?
The options to set different views based on self-set filters has been a great feature I use frequently to report on our activities to various audiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's "one more platform" for staff and collegues to use, although there is growing integration with other productivity apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides an overall view of projects' statuses and can be expanded to see the details of where each project is at. Helpful for reporting and task managment in different working group and management meetings.
Great tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet does a good job at managing project plans, allowing multiple users to update content, and has a nice set of templates to use as a starting point for project management needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Smartsheet does not autosave, it requires you to manually save your work. If you forgot to save you will lose all of your updates, the user friendliness of the sheet you would expect the modern technology of saving everytime you tab out of a field.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seamless way for multiple user to update a spreadsheet real time and allows for guest users without a license to make updates.

It is a great way to be able to share information with multiple people and allow multiple people to update/add information.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little chalenging to make changes to a template.
