Transforming Workflow Efficiency with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitiev layout and design make it easy to navigate and use, even for beginners. It also offers extensive customization, allowing users to tailor sheets, dashboards, and workflows to meet specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited mobile app functionality, the app has limitations compared to the desktop version

Smartsheet provides a cnetralized platform to plan, track, and manage projects, making it easier to coordinate tasks, deadlines, and resources.
Great Tool for Managing My Complex Projects and Sending Out Surveys
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is the first program I have used to manage my work projects. I have been using it recently for several projects, and it's been great! I also have used it to a send out a survey to volunteers. It worked out really well, and I had a very high participation rate. I do have a few suggestions for improvement, including allowing more characters when creating a survey form. I ultimately found a solution to get my necessary information on the form, but I'm not sure why there would be so few characters allowed. Also, I wish some functions were a little more intuitive, such as sending deadline reminders, etc. I also had some technical issues with their training videos, but I was able to find the answers I needed through Google searches. Overall, an excellent product that is really helping me meet my goals! And for someone new to project management software, I was able to get going very fast with minimal training!
What do you dislike about the product?
As I mentioned above, the character limits in the forms, and I find some tasks could be easier, such as sending reminders about deadlines. I also think the help function/training vidoes could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me manage a very large and complex project. It was also really helpful in creating and sending out a survey to volunteers for a program I managed.

I enjoy the ability to quickly create customizable tables

Some functions do not exist yet. for example it's hard to move columns to new positions.

Plenty of templates to start your SmartSheet with. Highly customizable with outside integrations.

User moving from Excel will have a bit up ramp up when switching to SmartSheet

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create a gant chart schedule thats sharable with all team members.
The ease of following up on coordination issues through the autoumated email system.

access and sharing. we had an issue where one project engineer deleted everyones access.

THe ease of follow up. when we assign an item to an indivisual, there is no need for us to call and email to make sure its on their radar. this helps alot
Smartsheet is a great Collaboration Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Sheets are easy to edit and maintain. Great functionality. easy to use because it is familiar, very similar to excel! Easy to integrate and easy adoption by collaboraters outside our organization.

Permissions could be easier to manage but overall not terribly problematic.

Helps with prioity setting and communication with both Suppliers and customers.
Novice user that needs expert functionality
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is how easy it is to implement quickly! You can go from no function to production in little to no time, and continually build and develop extensions and new skills as the sheet is in use. I use Smartsheet daily for some project tracking and then have dashbaords I report on weekly/monthly as needed and it meets those needs easily.
I also really enjoy using the templates, they are easy to personalize, build on, and learn from and I find them extremely helpful. As a new user, Smartsheet was simple to learn, and even the Medium, Hard templates can be learned with time as they offer set up learning activiyties that guide users through the process.
They also have incredibly helpful customer service both for technical issues, and usability questions.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the least helpful thing about Smartsheet is there are SO many options for how you can do things that it can be a bit overwhelming for a new user to know how to proceed. It would be helpful if there was a way to ask users what they needed and then provide the list of tutorials or recommend sheets based on requirements from the user.
One thing I also think could be slightly more improved is the integration from Smartsheet into Excel and vice versa. I find the formatting clunks even though the layouts are the same. A lot of our initiatl project tracking was done in Excel (very common practice) and as we grow into more sophisticated projects across departments we are moving them into Smartsheet.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to document new projects that are proposed to be managed by our PMO. This helps us document which departments have capacity for new projects, our investment in our projects, and also where we may see interdependencies. These benefit me by allowing the conversation to be around the data reported in Smartsheet vs. what the PMO things and allows for more objective decision making.

Smartsheet makes it really easy for me to make & track project plans, assign tasks to people, easily follow up on deadlines and make consolidated summaries for reporting.
I use it almost everyday, works well integrated with our systems and it makes my daily workflows a lot easier

I think there is a learning curve for new users, especially in getting onboarded and coming up to speed on the many sheets already created usingthe tool.

Smartsheets helps in centralized tracking of all projects across my organization at all levels - right from a macro executive view to a micro day-to-day task view. It makes my job a lot easier & helps stakeholders get to the problems & opportunities quickly
