Using it in project management
What do you like best about the product?
Love how easy it is to use. Able to share and create other forms from it

The learning curve has been tough if you're use to excel

Keeping track of action items. The filter option is great as well as the ease of graphging

What do you like best about the product?
- nice UI
- If someone is good in working with Excel, he might love Smartsheet

- no offline working
- Smartsheet offers great charting opportunites, but unfortunately with limited features (in comparison to Excel, e.g. why is it not possible to change font of labels????!!!!!
- why report with grouping and summary cannot be exported like that???????
- in overall Smartsheet offers great possibilities, but then lacks some obvious features in execution

Full suite for budget planning and PM
Smartsheets is now the back bone of our governance, strategy, and quality improvement programs.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is flexible enough to allow us to create tailored sheets, dashboards, and automation. My employees were surprised by how quickly they picked it up and how much potential it had to support them with their jobs. The dashboards have also been really helpful in visualising the situation and communicating this at relevant meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried the pivot table like extention and it did not work at all for me, I can use excel to create really effective pivot tables and charts and I could not get to grips with this smartsheet function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps promote a consistent approach to project management with the use of templates and consistent reporting. Helps to share both project and portfolio status to relevant stakeholders in an effective visual way. Through automations helps us gather updates from those assigned actions more efficiently.
Excellent tool that flexes from everyday task to program management of large-scale initiatives
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, flexibility, card view, forms for data entry and automations. Customer service is exceptional! Love that you get real, human support with a license.

As with every system, there are quirks that sometimes require a learning curve

It has been a game changing experience. Really very beneficial

It lives up to the word 'smart'. It is a very organized tool and helps in project management and assigning and tracking tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unlike Google, cannot have multiple sheets/tabs for one project.
Linking of SS to G-sheet, requires an additional tool which I beleive is a paid feature.
Training library is not very benefitial for that.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the benefits of creating trackers such as the ability to create automated colour functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not see any downsides, its like a more advanced version of excel.

the ability to pull multiple sheets into one form, so that mutiple groups can be working on the same documents without overlapping

Smartsheet for SMBs
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is basically an advanced, multi-tiered collaborative version of Excel that has integrations enabling you to route all kinds of activity through it from project management to sales tracking and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet does take a bit to get used to if you are used to the standard Kanban card-style project management solution, but thankfully you can adjust the views to enable that, do gantt, or just about anything else. It's just not nearly as intuitive as Monday.com for example.

Smartsheet is helping us solve both our operational and marketing problems by giving us a better, more organized way to basically conduct business across multiple departments.
Excellent tool to tracks tasks, projects and assignments. Dashboard feature is outstanding

Dashboards and follow up /reminders via email when tasks are due

not very intuitive, not that easy to know and understand its capabilities so can not be fully exploided because some features are not that easily found
