Smartsheet is great!
What do you like best about the product?
I love Smartsheet as it is user-friendly. It also is a great collaboration tool that all the team members can use to work on projects together.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides are if you load lots of proofs on a sheet, it can be hard to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great to have everything in one place and help everyone in a team across different departments work together.
Relatively easy to pickup for basic functions
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, so much like excel. Formulation is so much like excel, even new users like me picking it up pretty quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When export to excel, the row moved 1 number down everytime, a bit inconvenience.
It's annoying to change paragraph within the same cell, need to press alt enter everytime

letting my client understand the procedures of logging in docs and let them easily upload docs to me in one environment
Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is helping us keep track of all our projects and is something we use everyday. Given the layout and features are similar to an excel sheet, it makes it easy to use and implement across to the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
A downside to Smartsheet we have experienced so far is with the customer support. We have had a few run ins although these were ultimately resolved at the end of the day. Additionally, the new Desktop app is still in the early phase, so expect to encounter bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to keep track of all our ongoing projects and down to every detail we require. This makes it easier for our team to monitor progresses, etc.
Comprehensive functionality, easy to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
For me, as an inexperienced computer user, this program was easy to learn to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any data based program, it is only as good as the information added in, so things can still get overlooked

Giving multiple people insight to where the project is up too, and reducing the overlapping between our production processes
Smartsheets is a one stop shop for office needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can add attachments to documents as well as tag users seamlessly and it integrates very well with our other platforms. We used Smartsheets to assist our firm go through the Implementation of quite a few applications that made the project easy and we were very supported. Smartsheets is used everyday in my workfow!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like the way you filter and sort in Smartsheets. It can get confusing fairly easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization! I could say it a million times. Smartsheets really keeps the task at hand right in front of the team and keeps our deadlines visible and target dates. Love that we can add the attachments for progress. Its fabulous.
Automation is everything!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet automation has helped the different teams I work with streamline workflows, and keep close track of projects. It's collaborative, it's web based, and the tools are very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automation is very good but i've encountered partners who have tried to make it a catch-all for their teams and run into trouble. Also, coming from Excel some of the formula syntax is very different, but the good news is that the community help and knowledge make it easy to find an answer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps our team of nearly 40 employees report on project updates, stay organized, and give each other visibility into their day to day work. We also use dashboards and reports to provide KPI's to our c-suite, and show our value.
Keep track of everything with Smartsheet!
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet several times a day in my role as a manager of instructional designers. My team has built several sheets that we use for things like: prioritizing projects (with a team Kanban), assigning and tracking project task progress, cross-functional collaboration, fulfilling customer requests, automating workflow steps and email responses, and so much more. When we have a problem to solve, the first step in our solution is to think, "Can Smartsheet do that?"
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more training available - or maybe I just don't know where to look for it. The tool is very user-friendly so many things can be figured out on your own, but maybe an in-app guide like Pendo would help users with just in time training on what to do.

Our team has many irons in the fire at any given time, with projects constantly being added to our responsibility. Smartsheet helps us keep track of all of them, from the broad picture to granular details.
Smartsheets Project Management Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is intuitive and quite streamlined. The ability to make Gantt charts and track all of the ongoing projects and multiple subtasks for each project has become critical for success within my department.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are minor display frustrations, such as resizing the first column in a spreadsheet. All the other columns are simple to resize to address the screen size properly but the first column is too large and I cannot seem to resize it the same way the other column do. Overall this is a small issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before implementing Smartsheets we had a few key excel sheets throughout the office/network to try to manage and track our ongoing projects. This became a problem when key individuals left the company and greatly limited collaboration between departments. We have now started moving towards Smartsheets where things can be accessed off the network and provides a better way to collaborate with our numerous remote colleagues (myself included).
Smartsheet is a good tool for project planning
What do you like best about the product?
You can easily switch between grid view and gantt chart. The dependency between tasks can be easily reflected.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not sure if you can integrate other tools with Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides clear view of project timeline and task assignment.

Ease of duplicating sheets for multiple views.

Cannot permanently delete unwanted columns.
