What do you like best about the product?
- connection with other teammates, easy organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
logging in takes a while something, page will freeze while working on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project coordination - with the many tools it has I'm able to organize the project flow for our company, calendar view gives me an idea of the progress of my crew and when I will have opening for new projects.

What do you like best about the product?
The grids/sheets are easy to build and I can gather as many details as I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are advanced features available that are not as intuitive as I'd like. Maybe have Smartsheet suggest features based upon the data entered on a sheet. Otherwise, need to reference training material to build features into sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is providing a tool that allows us to manage our customer's projects with the ability to provide online collaboration with others and manage their access. The features within the sheets allow us to manage conversations/status and attach any needed materials.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very easy to use and get up to speed on. There are a lot of tools built in that can help you use it for a variety of work tasks. The use cases are genuinly pretty endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet tends to prompt people to request licenses to do tasks that do not need a license. Be mindful of this for those you give access to sheets, but do not need licenses for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can track my work breakdowns and budgets all in one place and quickly update them as things change.

What do you like best about the product?
The automations between the sheet/schedule and the other forms/reports is fantastic. I appreciate the comprehensive dashboard and executive views.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a Smartsheet issue, its more for me to understand what drives what and how the metadata comes into play.

A Day in the Life of a Smartsheet User
What do you like best about the product?
What really sets Smartsheet apart is the collaboration I have with my coworkers. We have a lot of moving parts at my company and many people from many departments can all make changes on one sheet and that keeps us focused on improving the customer expereince.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a bit tedious when creating a fresh Smartsheet for everyone to use. But a little effort at the beginning can really help out in the long term.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like I said earlier in the review, collaboration between departments is the best value I see with Smartsheet. We're a dealership and we have quite a few requirements we need to take to fully onboard a customer into our ecosystem. Different departments all have a different role in this process and opening the Smartsheet and visually seeing where each customer is on their journey is much easier than picking up a phone or sending an email.

What do you dislike about the product?
some of the features require more license costs, so unsure about the effectiveness of these additional requirements without spending money.

What do you like best about the product?
Creating pre-NTP and post-NTP project schedules with predecessors is key. Once your schedule is refined you can just copy and paste it over to the next project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gant Chart is too hard to read. Need LIVE track changes featured. Would like more embedded features (multiple tabs in one sheet) and more functionality with conditional formatting.

Identifying critial path items through construction schedules. Communicating schedules to clients and team members efficiently. Forecasting payables and receivables.

workflow and task management are important
Smartsheets is a GREAT platform for many things
What do you like best about the product?
We are using smartsheets for keeping track of hundreds of line items for IT projects. It is much more efficient and eaiser than trying to do this with excel. There is also built in dashboarding capabilites that make it very useful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is just learning the system. It is not complex, but it is another system to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem we were having with excel that had many people updating a spreadsheet causing issues. Smartsheets is a much better solution.

Its easy to update, clear to use and easily accessible
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function is not that great. When you search, it doesnt just search the sheet you are on, it searches all the sheets which is super annoying

Helping me stay on top of reported issues when delivering a project. The alert feature allows me to action issues faster.
