I have been using smartsheet for over 5 years now to manage my projects
What do you like best about the product?
I love it's symplicity and functionality
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard intergrating smartsheet with other platforms. Example, syncyn my calendar (outlook) with smartsheet. Also a bidirectional connection between smartsheet and MS products
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing collaborations and projects. It helps us become organized and communicate seemlessly with our partners.
Project Management Made Smarter
What do you like best about the product?
Some of the updsides of using Smartsheet include collaboration with colleauges, the ability to add thousands of rows of data and allowing the ability to easily manage projects timelines and requests through custom made trackers and forms as well as prebuilt templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the downsides of Smartsheet is the inability to see your team make live updates. I am hitting the save and refresh button very often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves the many requests my team gets for product support via email and creates a great and easy workflow for users to follow to submit their product support request through a form, which our team on the back end is then able to easily review and resolve. This benefits our business by a quicker turnaround on delivering assets and less back and forth on email to users who need immediate support. No longer do any requests slip through the cracks thanks to Smartsheet.

What do you dislike about the product?
Limited Advanced features and Mobile app features limitation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet integrades with a wide range of other tools and platforms (Microsoft Office, Google workspace, etc.) that makes it easier for me as a PM to manage the projects more accurate and up to date. Also, it offers a high degree of customization for sertain project plans allowing me to tailor sheets to their spesific needs with various templates and formats.

I like their dynamic features in the spreadsheet and the reporting features which allows us to track important KPIs

I don't like the project plan interface as I wish it's similar to MS Project

Collaboration between cross functional teams and a centralized repository for all project docs
A Very Capable Product That Sells Itself
What do you like best about the product?
I love the capability and flexibility of the product. The user can truly customize the organization of their data as best suited for the intended application. Control Center and Dynamic View are potent tools and great additions. User adoption I feel is easier than other products because of the similarities with Excel. Utilizing the forms for direct communication between clients and account managers cuts down on email volume and makes it easier to track file attachments provided by the customer. Having a Discovery Workshop and working with the Solutions Consultants were very valuable experiences for us. For anyone who is looking to design a project with a 3 to 5 year scalability plan in mind, I highly recommend investing in the workshop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Two things: One - the lack of flexibility in user permissions is beyond frustrating. I often have to loosen editing rights to admin level, otherwise other users cannot fully perform their tasks, which puts the integrity of the entire structure associated with the sheet at risk. Two - the sales team and the sales processes. Dealing with the frustrations being created by the sales process made it difficult to make quick and efficient decisions on our investment in the product. At this point, I have coordinated with more than a handful of sales associates - they either don't know enough about their own product, or they avoid answering questions on purpose to push clients into purchasing a Discovery Workshop to get answers. They utilize aggressive tactics, they demonstrate a lack of product knowledge, and there is often an insistence to include services and products that do nothing for the use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Account managers can manage all of their client and project needs from the links/reports within their own dashboards. As the project information is updated, clients receive awareness in real-time within their client dashboards and by automated notification (where applicable). Clients provide their account managers with the information and files via form link to keep their projects moving. It's a very efficient and flexible system for project management for high volume and dynamic task management.
Overall, it is a great tool for collaboration and program management

Great Organizational Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet makes it easy to put all the necessary information in one place and for multiple coworkers to access and use the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
When Smartsheet emails come in with approved information, the grid is skewed and it's hard to read the information.

Smartsheets allows multiple users to input necessary information and requires some fields so all the necessary information is input.

Customization features and integration of pages and forms.

Refreshing can be a bit out of sync. The rigidity of some of the logic can be a bit of a constraint at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as a scheduling system and project request manager. We have also expanded it to tracking resources. We can store our data and responses as the project progresses. It is a convenient management tool.
Essential Tool for Quality Management System
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been an invaluable tool for managing our company’s Quality Management System (QMS). Its user-friendly, spreadsheet-like interface has centralized our document control processes, including procedures and training materials, making it incredibly easy to maintain and update our documentation. The dashboard feature is particularly outstanding, as it allows us to display our company’s quality objectives in a clear and accessible manner for the entire organization. This transparency has greatly improved our team’s awareness and alignment with our quality goals.
Implementation was very easy, and we were up and running in no time. We use Smartsheet every day, and its seamless integration capabilities make it simple to import and export data, ensuring our information is always current and accessible. Although I haven't had the need to reach out to customer support, I am confident that they are quite helpful based on the overall quality of the service.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is that the dashboard won't update automatically. You have to manually go to the sheet it's pulling the data from to refresh the information. This can be a bit cumbersome, especially when dealing with multiple sheets or when trying to provide real-time updates to the team. An automatic refresh feature would significantly enhance the usability and efficiency of the dashboard.

The overall structure is great! Love all the filtering and grouping options. I am a big fan of the card view.
What do you dislike about the product?
The card view lacks certain features such as assigning a project to multiple users. It would be good if this could be visualized in card view.
