Powerful Tool for Multiple Layers of Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The tool's diversity allows it to meet a multitude of internal needs and be paired with other platforms, such as Salesforce, as the organization evolves. In addition, customer service is fantastic. We leveraged extra consulting hours at the start-up that were priceless.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface for items such as project workflow can be visually unappealing and difficult for non-tech-savvy teammates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a regional organization with multiple external agency team members, so the platform helps provide a platform for collaboration, and it also helps us harness the data for outcome reporting.
Very useful for daily team planning
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like the most are the automated alerts that remind my team about the due dates, which facilitates my job as lead. Very user friendly.

Difficult to integrate with other sources or apps .

What do you like best about the product?
It provides robust project management capabilities, including Gantt charts, project timelines, task assignments, and progress tracking, making it easy to plan, execute, and monitor projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is expensive for small businesses or individual users. Subscription costs adds up quickly when advanced features or enterprise-level plans are required. As well while the interface is user-friendly, there can be a learning curve for new users unfamiliar with spreadsheet-based project management tools or advanced features.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the tailoring functions of Smartsheet and how easy it is to use. I use the tool on a daily basis and is essential in getting my day-to-day tasks done. I haven't had the need to reach out to customer support as product is pretty intuitive. Haven't had any issues introducing the product to my clients and it's relatively easy to implement even for new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automation function breaks every now and then I need to set up a new one. Not sure what's triggering it, but it's been easy enough to do, so it hasn't been a dealbreaker.

it's been a great tool in keeping internal and external parties live on the status on each project. it's also very helpful in keeping each party accountable

Impossible to copy multiple cells from Excel and paste them directly into Smartsheet.

I love Smartsheet for keeping my projects organized, but sometimes the formulas can get a bit clunky. They feel more complex than what I'm used to in Excel, and there aren't always as many clear tutorials or examples online. It can slow me down a bit if I'm trying to build a more advanced automation.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very user-friendly and perfect for the needs of the firm I work for. We use it for reference and data entry on a daily basis. It was also relatively simple to implement it into our processes and integrate our existing data. So far we have not needed to contact customer support because we've had no issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't any negatives or cons with Smartsheet in my experience.

We use it as a database for all of our new and existing clients. We also print out the new business form created by Smartsheets.

Keeping things organized and pulling in data points from other sheets. The additional option to schedule send for sheets or updates was great for team usage.

The amount of existing templates for project management
