What do you like best about the product?
It’s flexible enough to build trackers, schedules, and dashboards, but structured enough to manage tasks, dependencies, and ownership clearly. Automation, alerts, and real-time visibility make it easy to track progress and hold people accountable without chasing updates. It’s especially effective for coordinating cross-functional work and keeping everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel overwhelming at first. Advanced features like formulas, automation, and dashboards aren’t immediately intuitive, so new users often need training before they can use them confidently. It can also become complex to manage as sheets scale, especially when permissions and automations stack up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet addresses the challenge of tracking and managing compliance tasks across various inspections and maintenance activities. Without this tool, inspection schedules, supporting evidence, and follow-up actions would be scattered across emails and spreadsheets, increasing the risk of missing important deadlines.

What do you like best about the product?
I used Smartsheet as a tracking sheet for freelance work. I appreciate that it keeps everything well laid out, and I can switch between sheets easily and link to others. The shared accessibility was particularly useful when working with others, as it meant that any changes could be shared and saved instantly, allowing communication and the ability to split workloads. Importing data was easy, although I didn't do this part myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changing the sizes of columns in Smartsheet was more difficult than in Excel.

Smartsheet keeps everything well laid out, allows easy switching between sheets, and lets me link to others, enhancing workflow.

SmartSheet offers a straightforward approach to automating repetitive business tasks. Even someone new to the platform can create an effective tool within minutes.

SmartSheet at times is a bit slow in updating. Would be nice to drag and drop files to multiple lines at once

Smartsheet has a familiar interface for those who have used Excel or Google Sheets, which greatly reduces the learning curve. This familiarity makes it much simpler to standardize project tracking and manage operational workflows across teams, all without the need for extensive change management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet’s pricing tends to be reasonable when used on a small scale. However, as soon as you require additional licensed users, access to advanced features like Control Center, Dynamic View, or premium apps, or need to move up to higher governance and security tiers, the costs can rise quickly. This escalation can sometimes exceed what teams anticipate paying for a tool that is essentially spreadsheet-based.

It is very easy to share with all people I worked, and has module which is very important for me Gantt Chart

That not always is saving everything to the sheet, but this is not direct problem of Smartsheet as could be connected with internet connection.

Time and how fast I can manage information with people outside of my company.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Smartsheet's flexible roadmapping and timeline capabilities. It lets me model product roadmaps in a way that aligns with how the work happens, whether it's a release level, sprint level, or milestone-based roadmap. I also like the strong collaboration and ownership tracking, which ties collaboration directly to ownership and work items instead of being in scattered form. Each task has a defined owner and due date, which helps keep everything organized. Additionally, Smartsheet solves the problem of fragmented planning, poor visibility, and manual coordination in project execution.
What do you dislike about the product?
As roadmaps become larger, views can become cluttered, making it hard to quickly understand progress. A native roadmap layering feature would help, allowing users to toggle roadmap depths to see high-level progress without being overwhelmed.

I use Smartsheet for project roadmapping and management. It solves fragmented planning, poor visibility, and manual coordination in project execution, allowing flexible roadmapping and strong collaboration tied to ownership and work items.
Efficient Collaboration and Analytics in One Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet to create sheets shared by all employees, allowing us to analyze the data and create reports and dashboards directly in Smartsheet. I find the collaboration feature very useful, and I greatly appreciate the report feature that lets me view data in a summarized format rather than just entering it. The integration with other platforms is also a significant plus. The switch from Excel to Smartsheet was beneficial because Smartsheet offers reports, dashboards, and different views like Gantt and Calendar, which we regularly use. Setting up Smartsheet was pretty straightforward as my company has a license agreement, so I just had to request an account.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that doesn't work out for me is the limit on number of rows. I understand it's a high number but I would like it to be unlimited. This solves our problem of having to archive the data into another Smartsheet to keep the main Smartsheet live.
