Smartsheet for Project management
What do you like best about the product?
I think Smartsheet is very easy to use and set up solutions. As a busy project manager, I need a tool that I can easily create what I need to run my process and then quickly modify it as things change over time. I like how it is collaborative, and has features like dashboards and automation. The premium apps have been helpful such as datamesh and data uploader. All the available resources to help learn about the platform and be able to ask someone how to do something and get a quick response is fantastic. I use the platform all the time in my job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the dramatic price increase though it is understandable that the price will go up over time. I think there are a lot of features that can be incorporated and the platform has a lot of room to grow and improve its capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is a collaborative environment that can easily create solutions that all work together. It saves me time and helps get my team the answers they need quickly. It also saves me time as I can easily create what I need and not have to go through IT.
An intuitive and powerful tool for Project Management.
What do you like best about the product?
For me its strength lies in the simple way I can acheive my goals of tracking projects and my portfolio. If I come up with an idea then it is usually something that has already been anticipated in the development of Smartsheet and it is easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more granular control of look and feel would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our problem was a lack of visibility of a large portfolio of projects for the Senior Leadership Team. Smartsheet has allowed me to build a dashboard from a comprehensive set of tracking sheets which allows a simple to read view for SLT and the confidence the portfolio is on track.
Smartsheet - The easy way to create project plans and share them with the team.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is so easy to use compared to other project planning tools. There is a lot of functionality that can be used but equally, just using the basics creates clear and easy to use project plans and Raid logs. It's easy to collaborate with both my customers and team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real dislikes but the depth and breadth of functionality can be a little daunting until you get to know it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping the whole team and my customers informed of the project plan as well as real time progress means that any surprises can be avoided !
Very helpful and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
It is user friendly and makes life easier
What do you dislike about the product?
That I have to login each time but I understand it is probably for security reasons but all in all satisfied with everything else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes things easier for us as a team if we are working on one document. All changes are made and visible to all in the group, it is also great for data collection and tracking of projects we are working on.
Efficient and Easy Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I have used SmartSheet for the last year and half and in that time, have use SmartSheet for project management, social media calendars, content calendars and overviews, out of office project trackers, marketing materials review and more. In every instance, SmartSheet has helped keep projects organized and timelines clear while having visibility to the broader team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have found is when automating or needing to have something move from one sheet to another, you have to have both sheets with identical columns. There are times when sheets are not identical but it would be useful to have a way they can still talk to each other using AI to format or something similar. Currently we get around this by creating an "intake form" where we have visibility of what is incoming (say an article my teammate worked on is ready to go on to social media channels I manage) and manually enter into our content calendars or trackers.

Creating streamlined processes and keeping projects on track and manageable.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to use. U ser friendly and helps in collaboration. Task management, Work management, Project management, data sharing based on task, productivity, etc

Not having any dislike as per my know so it's a very good tool from my point of view

Smart sheet is actually smart where we can manage our many task very smartly such as productivity, work task, project management task, various filters such as row blocking, row colouring, approval request, etc
Project Management in less time and with better flow
What do you like best about the product?
Tons of automation possibility to provide project management for both your internal team and your client
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve, though SmartSheet happily provides plenty of training materials
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of intergration of different scopes and processes; importing Excel spreadsheets of different processes is easy and fast
We in G4s using Smart sheet extensively. It's easy and easy to implement

Streamline processes in construction
What do you like best about the product?
I use smartsheet daily now.
Once you start familiarizing with the mechanics of Smartsheet, its capabilities to support creation of processes that are user friendly and efficient become very clear.
We are insourcing processes that we were running on different platform by creating forms.
The library of training videos and the smartsheet university are great tools to support the learning journey.
Haven't build a WorkApp yet but the feature seems extremely valuable.

As a relatively new user I think that some of the instructions I found on how to build solutions (i.e. build a training test/quiz by using a form) were not the easiest to follow.
In other cases I tried few templates to jumpstart on a process, but I found it more difficult to modify the proposed solution than starting from scratch.
I can submit forms and cc myself, and the nofication received looks nice. If I set automation the e-mail that comes through is not as visual appealing, so there are margins of improvement on the vsual aspect of notifications and how e-mails come through.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I faced cost and time constrains within the organization when trying to use our training platform. I tried to use Smartsheet to replicate the functionalities of that platform and I achieved the same results in a short period of time.
Same thing I did with a digitalized checklist, where we need to rely on consultants to modify and ensure continous improvement, while in Smartsheet I could take control of it and modify it based on users' feedback with a short turnaround time compared to what the consultans could do for me.

Great for Construction Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use with smartsheet. We use it everyday to keep track of tasks, billing, and communicate with eachother on certain things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish smartsheet could improve their gannt chart scheduling sheet. It's pretty good, but I think it could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving the problem of having information in lots of different places. We go to smartsheet daily to see where we are at with the tasks at hand.
