An excellent Project Management tool with a lot of familiarity
What do you like best about the product?
The easy of use of Smartsheets comes from it's immediate familiarity due to it's sheet style display. Creating new PM tools like project plans, Gantt charts and resource views is all out of the box so it's quickly become my day-to-day tool.
Setting alerts for key milestones is incredibly easy to implement and any difficulties I've had have been swiftly addressed by the support teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
I've found some of the collaboration aspects a little tricky to get to grips with initially sa some of our teams are used to using other tools so there was a steeper learning curve for some of them, but I imagine that will come with any changes of software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating project plans can be difficult with some tools and I've sometimes struggled to find the correct manner in which to build these but with Smartsheets it's much simpler. The templates that are available are excellent to begin with before you find your feet.
As a business we've sometimes had difficulty communicating the prject/product status to stakeholders but with the dashboarding features this is very easy to implement and share.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very flexible tool. I enjoy using forms with automations. Update request is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some forumulas I'm used to using in excel are not able to be used in Smartsheet. Referencing cells and columns from other sheets is very difficult since tabs are not supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets helps us for processes that are not robust enough to warrant a dedicated solution.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is great for sharing key information amongst teams of users. Things like shared editing, history and forms have been helping in bringing teams together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is not excel which is both good and bad.

What do you like best about the product?
I think Smartsheet is very easy to use and set up solutions. As a busy project manager, I need a tool that I can easily create what I need to run my process and then quickly modify it as things change over time. I like how it is collaborative, and has features like dashboards and automation. The premium apps have been helpful such as datamesh and data uploader. All the available resources to help learn about the platform and be able to ask someone how to do something and get a quick response is fantastic. I use the platform all the time in my job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the dramatic price increase though it is understandable that the price will go up over time. I think there are a lot of features that can be incorporated and the platform has a lot of room to grow and improve its capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is a collaborative environment that can easily create solutions that all work together. It saves me time and helps get my team the answers they need quickly. It also saves me time as I can easily create what I need and not have to go through IT.
An intuitive and powerful tool for Project Management.
What do you like best about the product?
For me its strength lies in the simple way I can acheive my goals of tracking projects and my portfolio. If I come up with an idea then it is usually something that has already been anticipated in the development of Smartsheet and it is easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more granular control of look and feel would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our problem was a lack of visibility of a large portfolio of projects for the Senior Leadership Team. Smartsheet has allowed me to build a dashboard from a comprehensive set of tracking sheets which allows a simple to read view for SLT and the confidence the portfolio is on track.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is so easy to use compared to other project planning tools. There is a lot of functionality that can be used but equally, just using the basics creates clear and easy to use project plans and Raid logs. It's easy to collaborate with both my customers and team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real dislikes but the depth and breadth of functionality can be a little daunting until you get to know it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping the whole team and my customers informed of the project plan as well as real time progress means that any surprises can be avoided !

It is user friendly and makes life easier

That I have to login each time but I understand it is probably for security reasons but all in all satisfied with everything else.

It makes things easier for us as a team if we are working on one document. All changes are made and visible to all in the group, it is also great for data collection and tracking of projects we are working on.
Efficient and Easy Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I have used SmartSheet for the last year and half and in that time, have use SmartSheet for project management, social media calendars, content calendars and overviews, out of office project trackers, marketing materials review and more. In every instance, SmartSheet has helped keep projects organized and timelines clear while having visibility to the broader team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have found is when automating or needing to have something move from one sheet to another, you have to have both sheets with identical columns. There are times when sheets are not identical but it would be useful to have a way they can still talk to each other using AI to format or something similar. Currently we get around this by creating an "intake form" where we have visibility of what is incoming (say an article my teammate worked on is ready to go on to social media channels I manage) and manually enter into our content calendars or trackers.
