one place to have an intake form, manipulate the data and present on a dashboard the metrics from the data. Great workflow from start to finish

Advanced features need a level of knowledge to be able to be used
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eases approval processes, action tracking and assigning tasks. Also has multiple pre-made templates.
This helps me get things done quicker, and with lesser manual work.

Amazing Project Management and Workflow software

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it makes workflows and projects streamlined. I no longer have to micromanage projects because it sends reminders and manages the workflow for me. The dashboards are also a great visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing data relationships is not easy, but could be done with a software like PowerBI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for event registration, managing check-in for intl visitors, billing workflow, agreement repository. It is an essential toolbox that I visit almost daily. It helps us keep track of the tasks at hand.

What do you like best about the product?
The integration of Microsoft Excel with smart features like automation allows a better productivity for my business overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of visual customisation and integration with chatgpt is something that I find missing from smartsheets currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of inter team and intra team communication that Smartsheets is resolving is something that Excel cannot provide and because of these features, along with automations the tools is of very good use to my organisation.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple it is.. The version we use at least has a simple primary column concept wherein a lot of purpose is served which makes it the better spreadsheet than any other for anyone. Also, I love the cell history part where it is all so easily traced.
The use of e-mail triggers and exporting files in various formats are attractive features as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, honestly. At times I just forget to save the changes made and exit the browser which leads to a whole entry or more remaining unsaved and vanishing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's simple and satisfying UI makes it easier than Excel and Google Sheets. The common issue with manual data entry is that it is difficult to maintain accuracy and sanity.
Collaboration and traceability is another plus! User activities, cell history etc. are the features that make us collaborate and track data with ease.
The mail triggers help us assure timely assignment and completion of tasks.
The export options helps the analytics team to do what they do with the comfort of deciding what format is the file is in.

Streamlines collaboration, offers stability, and saves time and energy

What is our primary use case?

I use Smartsheet to streamline our intercompany support process. Instead of sifting through emails, requests go directly into Smartsheet, where we manage and prioritize them. It helps us efficiently estimate projects for sales reps, keeping everything organized in one place and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

How has it helped my organization?

The feature that has most improved my workflow efficiency is the collaboration aspect of Smartsheet. It reduces reliance on emails and facilitates teamwork, which serves as the foundation for utilizing other features like storage and reporting.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable features of Smartsheet are its collaboration tools, the ability to centralize and prioritize projects, and robust reporting capabilities.

What needs improvement?

Areas for improvement in Smartsheet include better integration capabilities with other technologies through APIs and addressing limitations in reporting functionalities. Specifically, the ability to automate and customize reports more efficiently, as well as ensuring that exported reports display properly, especially when printing to PDF, would enhance user experience.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Smartsheet for a year and a half.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The stability of Smartsheet is excellent. While there have been occasional short connection issues or downtime, they have been minimal, totaling only a few hours over a year or more.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I would rate the scalability of Smartsheet around an eight out of ten. It is highly scalable with the right personnel and computer literacy in place, but adoption and implementation are key factors. Smartsheet's scalability benefits our organization by accommodating multiple teams with similar functions but different operating styles. It enhances collaboration and organization while providing visibility and reporting features that help gauge productivity and track progress transparently.

Overall, there are over 100 users in our organization, including both licensed users and those with limited access to submitting requests.

How are customer service and support?

The technical support is quite good. I would rate it as an eight out of ten.

How was the initial setup?

I would rate the initial setup experience with Smartsheet around a five or six out of ten. It is not the most intuitive process, and the use of unfamiliar terminology can be confusing. While it is not overly difficult, there is room for improvement in making the setup smoother and more user-friendly.

The deployment of Smartsheet took several months, with a team of around eight to ten department managers involved in the rollout process. Maintaining the Smartsheet solution mainly involves updating reporting and other features annually, typically requiring the assistance of the Smartsheet team.

What was our ROI?

We haven't quantified the ROI percentage-wise yet, but based on the time saved, I would say Smartsheet more than doubles productivity.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I would say the pricing for Smartsheet is not cheap, but it is a good value considering what you get. Basic licenses start around $500 per person, and costs increase for additional premium features.

What other advice do I have?

Smartsheet streamlines collaboration by reducing email clutter and providing a centralized platform for managing requests. It saves time and energy by storing data efficiently and facilitating communication with sales reps. Additionally, it enables tracking and reporting, allowing us to gauge productivity and have a clear snapshot of progress over time.

My experience with the Smartsheet mobile app is generally positive. While it is not as robust as the web-based version, it is convenient for quick checks and accessing essential information on the go.

Overall, I would rate Smartsheet as an eight out of ten.

The user interface is quite straightforward, and the simplicity of columns and rows enables easy application of data validation. The automation, reminders, and notifications features are excellent.

I feel that the dashboards are somewhat limited and have room for improvement. This constitutes a significant distinction between this tool and other reporting tools.

Worklog entries can't be present in every instance within systems; we require Smartsheet to handle these entries and share the information across teams, fostering real-time collaboration.
