Making Project Management easy
What do you like best about the product?
-Customisable reporting dashboards
-Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (sharing action logs, risks registers etc).
-Customer Support team are great. Our account manager is directly contactable on slack for any questions
I use smartsheets everyday, it makes it so much easier to manage projects
-Easy to set up, there are courses to teach you how to use this. And our customer success manager will help to direct us to the right place if we have any questions

What do you dislike about the product?
Learning how to use reports (how sheets link to reports) so that they appear correctly without links broken for example. However, this is mainly user error. Now that it's set up, I know how to resolve issues with this!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All aspects of project management tools and reporting. Ensuring that my reports are consistent with those of my peers so that we can report to leadership team in a consistent way

The GANTT view is not so clear and intuitive

What do you dislike about the product?
Poor Excel functions, lack of Pivot Table is terrible (I know I can pay but it is one of basics of excel analyzes)

It is easy to use and easy and can be shared in an easy and efficient manner

Some things that are available in Excel are not available in Smartsheet.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is great tool for project managmet files (ex. different regigisters and timeplans). With Smartsheet you can easyly make rules, graphs and data tables, with are easy to share and export (include to Excel and Microsoft Project files).
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is not a good place for keeping information to archive, the memory is too little for that. The ruling the tables can be more simple and stupid. Many commands are hidden and not too easy to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps keeping the information togather and reachable for every team member. Each team can see the same information and change it. Good for protocolling the meeting and for registers, also for timeplanning.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Smartsheet for 7 years now and really rate this platform very highly. Best licensing model on the market which saves a lot of money vs other platforms; awesome & flexible features set; allows me to develop advanced stuff without being dependent on a 3rd party/consultancy; quick to learn. Gives me the ability to create standardised and integrated templates that I can deploy in a few hours. Also love how it streamlines bottoms-up data management to enable slick and easy reporting.
Integration with other tools are very impressive given the price point of this powerful platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's scheduling capability is good for simple to medium complexity but it does lack some more advance features but this is a minor issue compared to the other benefits it brings to the table.
User engagement can be the largest risk in successful deployment of Smartsheet but this will be the case with any collaboration and project management software. It will require your organisation to be fully engaged especially at management level.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is assisting project management teams that dont have formal project management backgrounds. It is easy to learn and allows an ever-growing stakeholder group to join without incurring additional cost. We can combine many teams into a truly bottoms-up protfolio roll up which makes for powerful exception-based reporting.
When set up correctly - reporting is automaticly populated and teams can focus on other stuff. The days of generating reports in an Excel and Powerpoint domain can be eliminated.

Review of Smart-Sheet in daily business use
What do you like best about the product?
It is very manageable, easy to understand and intuitive. It has established itself as the "standard" tool and is accepted by all business partners. It also has a very good customer support and it was easy to integrate it in our daily business processes and aplications. I use it frequently also for internal purposes, the number of features are even more than necessary.

pretty much nothing, I cannot find any complaint.

Gives all employees access to all relevant data.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create automated workflows. Ease of navigation on the site. Not everyone that engages with Smartsheet needs a license.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot create a pivot table from a worksheet. It is difficult to get quick answers to any challenges I may have, regarding formulas.

It enables me to create a templatised PMO that is easy to rollout, thoughout a number of different industries. I'm also able to create workflows for almost any type of business unit within an organistaion.

Smartsheet is very convenient to schedule tasks which comes back in a daily or weekly base for our products.
This way tasks are divided to different persons who are in charge for it. Easy to see which tasks are done and need to be done in a certain period or for a certain date. Very easy to implent or intergrate and easy to invite people. Quick customer support service.

With many products the rapport page (for open tasks) can be long :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing to forget for things which are mandotory.
Use Smartsheet on a daily basis, doesn't let me down

The forms that integrate into my smartsheet. They are easy to create, use, distribute and implement within the business and to the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to process the data, I feel like I have to export the sheet to excel and work with it there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I created a Smartsheet that I introduced to the whole company which is integrated into our health and safety management system which is used company wide. It is transparent and everything is in a central place. Previous to this, hardback books were used on 6 different sites. It was hard to use and data could not be monitored or analysed. Now, reports have increased which is a huge benefit and it is very easy to use.
