Smartsheets for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to organise and link tasks to create dependancy flows and gantt charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you change a date and the predesessor column breaks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to plan resource effectively and keep on track with what projects are in need of urgent and timley discussion.
More than a MS Excel and Intelligent Data Sheet
What do you like best about the product?
There are lot of Automations which can be used to send automated reports.
Very nice view of the sheet with in-built colums & templates and can be easily implemented.
It can be Integrated with other softwares as well.
I use it on a daily basis for tracking my projects.
Reaching to the Customer support is also quiet easy if someone face any challenges.

What do you dislike about the product?
Think about to make it more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is automating my work for sending updates and it's quite easy to fill the data. It has very vast UI which helps in showcasing top the top management.
Very helpful processes to demonstrate project Gantt Charts
What do you like best about the product?
When you understand the processes involved, they are very helpful and can show details to colleagues etc. easily. Also, I can share it with stakeholders that might not have a licence for it. When setting up, I can impliment all of the data previously used on previous Gantt Charts easily. I use this software daily and it is easy to find and open with very little delay. The features that it has are good, although I don't believe I have accessed them all yet! If I need to share with colleagues that also have a licence to use Smartsheet, they can edit it as necessary should I allow them that access, which means that intergration of data into the processes is made easier when data comes from more than one place. I have yet to use customer support but i understand from colleagues that they are very helpful also.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to show delays. In projects where they are feasibility or early stage prototypes projects, it is inevitable that delays will occur.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I only use Smartsheet for Gantt Charts. It solves this problem nicely for me.
A very Smart Sheet!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can set reminders, send automatic e-mails, and that you can retrieve data!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have more tabs on 1 smartsheet page so that I don't have to make another smartsheet.

Set Reminders so that I won't forget a task i need to do on that day.
Send automatic e-mails so that i won't have to think about e-mailing.
Working with multiple people in the same sheet, so that we can all work and save the sheet at the same time.

An effective way to monitor data
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets allows my team to assign tasks to each other and monitor progression on them. This has helped us develop our processes and keep our customers up to date with project progression.
We use the software for all of our project plans and there has certainly been a positive improvement on our time management

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of Smartsheets is the inability to break sheets down into tabs like you can on Excel. If this feature existed, we would be able to use Smartsheets for all of our processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets allows us to share project plans with our clients directly, ensuring that both parties have access to the most accurate and up-to-date data at all times. The feature of assigning tasks to colleagues and clients is exceptionally useful and allows us to seemlessly manage projects
Great tool for automatized project management
What do you like best about the product?
I use smartsheet on a daily basis and am more of a power user then regular one.
What smartsheet does best are the automations. No need to know any programming languages to be able to create complex automations.
User friendly interface is a plus. No need to conduct muliple trainings about the tool itslef it is self explanatory to the basic users.
The integration with google drive in our case is a must and most of the time it works flaweless (except when someone moves tab out of required order in the g sheet).

Sometimes it really slows down. Our database is nowhere near the limits, not even halfway there and the sheets just keep freezing from time to time.

No need to send emails. Auto reminders and update requests are taking care of that

The frequent updates that sometimes require an admin to approve.

Powerful Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet provides lots of power and flexibility to accommodate even the most complext projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the tool provides many robust features, it's not the best tool for smaller projects, and updating existing project plans can be a bit tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization has used Smartsheet as a program/project management tool, managing our full project plans and collaboration on those plans. We have also used it as a project intake tool for our clients - creating a separate project for each client, then form for them to submit new requests. The new requests then flow into a centralized sheet, where we can scope and prioritize these requests.
More Intuitive than Excel
What do you like best about the product?
To me, Smartsheet feels like a more intuitive and efficient version of Excel. Interacting with cells feels more natural, making it easier to manipulate data. What I appreciate most about Smartsheet is their constant focus on innovation—they’re always introducing new features and ways to visualize and use data, so there’s always something fresh to explore. I’ve also found their free trainings and User Groups to be incredibly helpful; I’ve attended a few and gained a lot of value from them. And for those moments when Excel is unavoidable, I love how seamlessly Smartsheet integrates with it, making data transfers smooth and hassle-free. I use it every day and it has helped streamline my workflow immensely. It's incredibly easy to integrate it with my existing processes and implement it into my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside, in my experience, is that many of Smartsheet's best features are locked behind higher-tier licenses, which can be quite expensive. While I understand the reasoning behind it, if I had to point out a drawback, this would be it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has significantly improved our efficiency by enabling entire teams to collaborate on the same data simultaneously. Instead of passing static Excel spreadsheets back and forth, we now have a more streamlined process that also offers far more actionable insights.
User Friendly and usefull
What do you like best about the product?
The most i like about Smartsheet is making records of all properties in my ongoing project ,smartsheet help me to make records and make dashboard for my reports,presentation of my timeline of my project.And easy to implement or teach to my co worker.

Dislike about Smartsheet for me is lag sometimes if i have a alot data input in making dashboard for my reports.

Smartsheet help us to solve our problem about records and dashboard to access easly .Smartsheet is very accesable anyware. if we have presentation we easy to show in our client the report we make.
