Smartsheet is great data organization tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Since Smartsheet is cloud-based, it is accessible anywhere. It is customizable and easy upload attachments. A variety of templates are available for various tasks. Customer support and resources are available.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve. It can be cumbersome to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps record technical assistance given to clients.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is fairly easy to use at first glance. There are extensive knowledge articles and trainings that assist in on-boarding with training of the program. If you are familiar at all with logic/automation, this program will be easy to master. The more you learn, the more complex your sheets/automations can become. This is highly customizable and is an excellent asset to our agency. We save an immense amount of time with this program. Customer support is always available to answer questions and there is extensive articles/forums for help. We use this daily for multiple different program areas. Processes can easily be conbined into easy to read data sets/reports. Workflows are easy to map and implement. I highly recommend this product to any business seeking to scale and become more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the services are broken out into different pricing structures making some solutions difficult to navigate for each specific niche or use case. However their staff are knowledgable about what services can fit your use case to assist in this decision making process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating tasks and keeping track of deadlines/tasks to be completed. On-boarding and off-boarding employees. Training tracking. This product is truly maleable and can fit a multitude of needs.
Smartsheet user at a basic level
What do you like best about the product?
I think what is most helpful about Smartsheet is the ability to have tasks, reminders, and notes all in one place. The reminders are super helpful and helps me, personally, stay on track. The sheets are so customizable that there is almost certainly a way to figure out to track/do what you are trying to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that the downside of using Smartsheet is that you and your team/organization have to "live" in Smartsheet, and if everyone isn't using Smartsheet, things can get disjointed quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet to manage our marketing team's social media calendar. We drat the posts in there and that is also where we receive edits (approved users can go in and make changes) and approval (the superiors can go in and check a box once they review/approve). This is an example of a task that used to take multiple emails to complete, where now everything exists in Smartsheets as the one source of truth for our social media calendar.
We also use Smartsheet to track the planning process for advisory board meetings and other date-driven events like webinars. Again, it is the one source of truth for when items are due and it also holds people accountable for what tasks belong to them. This is another area that used to be made up of a lot of emails and spreadsheets, but now everything lives in one place.

Great online management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great way to manage projects, share spreadsheets, and analyze data online with your colleagues and peers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet does not have all of the same capabilities as Excel

Excel is sometimes tough to use when multiple people have to be editing the same documents. Smartsheet provides an easy-to-use platform where you can share data and sheets with colleagues for editing and info-sharing.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use and very intuitive. The built-in features like automation and formatitng are top-knotch and make project planning a breeze. I use Smartsheet at least weekly.
What do you dislike about the product?
One huge downside of Smartsheet is no auto-save feature. This would be a huge help, especially with the platform being web-based.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We struggled to find an intuitive and easy-to-use project management platform. Smartsheet delivered and we soon realized we could use it for much more than anticipated. It helped my company navigate constructing and moving to a brand new manufacturing facility with ease.

I find smartsheet to be very very organized and easily accessible for me to find information for the GN

It can be a little bit difficult to navigate at the beginning but once you get the grasp of it, you are able to do so easily

Integration part and the dynamic dashboards with live data are really exceptional

Vlookup and pivot are not fully functional and easy to use like other tools. That needs to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing sheet to multiple stakholders with dynamic permission level through workapp is really useful and easy to use.
Great collaborative application
What do you like best about the product?
Loved being able to work in a document with a team of people. Tracking project tasks, milestones and contributions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't really encountered anything I dislike so far. There's a bit of a learning curve to utilise the full functionality but this is to be expected with an application that offers lots of features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to overlay multiple workflows (e.g. build, test) into a single tracking sheet.
Help solving problem in project timeline management
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best about Smartsheet are with the easy to operate project timeline and planner. The configuration and setting is straightforward and simple for us to implement it with our current system. Tech stack integration like BrandFloder give more flexibility to our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some issues with the Gantt Chart production process. It isn't too smooth and keep on freeezing the apps when we adding more data into it.

We use Smartsheet to automatically track tasks completion status for our projects. It will highlight tasks that nearing the deadline, and tasks that has exceed the deadline.
