I think Smartsheet is a great team organizing tool
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility it gives you in creating your sheets. And that the usage is close to excel, which makes it easy to learn :)
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can't create good templates with it. It would be great if it would be smart enough to understand when you are deleting passages in the template and it could re-arrange the template accordingly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives you the chance to have a tailored process that fits your needs.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is a perfect tool to manage our company system. I am using it for manging our financial documents now and it is very convenient. All the papers are stored within a single application.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using smartsheet on both laptop browser and on IOS for Ipad. I think it is quite inconvenient when the app constantly asks me to log in whenever I want to use it. It would be nice if there is an option that I can log in one time and stay there for a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me a lot in term of storing documents. It really helps to boost up our administrative process and very convenient.

What do you dislike about the product?
Just recently the search feature was changed and it is now very cumbersome to do my job. I have to search with subset of data across different sheets. Prior to a recent change all I had to do was put "*" and it would search across the sheet. This change has really effected our business negatively

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet Automation, Control Center for administration. I have been able to use these features to automate and elevate collaboration/productivity within the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may not be an issue to most users but as an analyst with experience using other data visualization tools, I can't help but notice the shortcomings of smartsheet dashboard compared to other tools. I wouldn't say it is totally bad, it works and the team is constantly improving it...it is just not as developed as the standard tools in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project and portfolio management. Smartsheet definitely makes it easier to get this done.
Smartsheets is a good collaborative solution for all the team members in your company.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to update the spreadsheets without having any conflict when employees work on the same spreadsheet at the same time. And also, how easy it is to create rules and automations in each spreadsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
That the spreadsheets are limited in size, so you're not able to have big databases on Smartsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep a better control on all the information that we keep from our clients, it helps us keep track of each one of our process and at the same time, internally and individually, employees can create their own spreadsheets to keep control of their own tasks and responsabilities.
Multi-use Project planning tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Our company likes Smartsheet's versatility! We can develop project plans and portfolio's which talk to each other and allow for automated workflows as well as notifications. We can create dashboards for leadership to at a glance get a view into progress and challenges.
We can also use Smartsheet for small projects, or tracking of other ongoing work and statuses that link to larger project plans.

What do you dislike about the product?
It does take some training and understanding of Smartsheet's functionality and use cases to truly gain its effectiveness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project planning across both technical and business workstreams which allows us to marry expectations and dependencies that were not clear previously.
I really like collaborating with teammates on Smartsheet.

The different views you can use Smartsheet for.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't tell [in real time] when someone else is editing the document (sometimes my teammate and I will work on the same line unknowing they are in it and delete eachothers responses).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't notice any problems at the moment with Smartsheet. I would love to eventually see my Teammate working in a cell so I know what exactly they are working on without having to communicate via Zoom, text, or conversing.
Professional and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Customizable forms, easy to use and send to customers!
What do you dislike about the product?
When creating client request forms from a copy of a form you already have, you cannot select all columns to delete from the submission sheet, you have to go line by line to delete them.

We are able to ask our stores questions with a form and get multiple submissions
A solid product that I use every day
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is cloud/browser based and that I can access it anywhere on my web browser. I also like that it is collaborative and can facilitate team work and productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the design is a little clunky and could use a re-fresh. Additionally, I haven't been able to find any good tutorials or uses of smartsheets so I can better manage projects for my clients. Ie, keeping track of who I am in contact with externally, what the current status is and a timeline of what has happened during the project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now that the company I work for is completley remote, Smartsheet has solved the problem of over use of email to make sure that tasks get done.

What do you like best about the product?
The largest upside for me with smartsheet is the automation features. Being able to automate functionality based on data entered into the smartsheet is a huge boon. The ability to create forms for users is what originally brought smartsheet to my attention in my work and it does a great job of this as well, but again the ability to automate is what ultimately won me over.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formulas which are used by smartsheet are specific to smartsheet and do not necessarily resemble what Microsoft Excel / PowerBI users are going to be familiar with. Otherwise, there are no complaints that I can think of with smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For a manufacturing site, I was able to implement a smartsheet with custom form to allow production employees and material handlers to quickly, via scan with QR codes, log inventory, quality, production, etc. issues quickly. The smartsheet then would assign and email the appropriate team, tracking the ticket through resolution and then emailing the original requestor to notify them of the completed ticket.
Furthermore, we tied the data into PowerBI to get real-time updated metrics for our KPI reporting, which was a significant time saver and gave good insight to management.
