Excellent for Events
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and the fact that you can have so many people collaborate. It's our exclusive platform for having people sign up for our events. It's so convenient to have their information all on one sheet as opposed to other platforms we've used, where you have to click into each individual person to see their answers.
Also, the ability to provide access to other team members saves so much time instead of having to download a report whenever we have a new signup.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the form-building aspects aren't as easy as I think they can be. For example, I'll add a question that we later want to delete but when I remove it from the form, it still stays on the left-hand sidebar and I haven't been able to figure out how to remove it (I could Youtube it, but think it should be easy enough to figure out without that).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest was the information being held all on one sheet. In the past there was so much time wasted upon every report we had to download. Now, it's all in one central location where our entire team has access.

it helps me managing the overall project for both milestones and work break downs with time needed and all related info.
Great for collaboration to reach goals
What do you like best about the product?
The forms feature has been amazing and a great way to allow collaboration for input into a spreadsheet after. I also really enjoy using Dashboards for great visuals of the work being done and a great way to manage projects and reach goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more powerful queries and pivots available. I often have to export the data to do analysis in another program as Smartsheet is limited in what it can handle and do on the analysis front.

Collaborating on one sheet with multiple users inputting data and then being able to do analysis on that data

What do you like best about the product?
What i like best about Smartsheet is the number of features available compared to Excel. There is more customization that can be used to prepare the Smartsheet the way you envision.
What do you dislike about the product?
What i dislike is that there is a learning curve to figuring out how to get the sheets integrated to perform the way you want. With a training it is easier to figure these items out.

It allows a single location to house all of our working trackers that everyone can access. Additionally, it allows great tools to manage workload and task completion.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Smartsheet is that it's very interactive and easy to use, and my favourite feature is Smartsheet forms. As an HR manager, it allows me to create the forms and have all the results under one platform without having to manage multiple. Smartsheet is a powerful tool, but I’ve found that its interface can be a bit overwhelming for new users, and setting up reports or automations isn’t always intuitive. It’s effective once you get the hang of it, but it can take time for teams to fully adopt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us track crucial employee data and automate HR tasks such as vacation accrual reminders, staff surveys, and performance tracking. It also streamlines our onboarding and offboarding processes, as well as health and safety incident report tracking, and enables better overall reporting and analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
What stands out to me most is that it takes the excel based spreadsheet idea, and builds features into it that make it very intuitive and user friendly. We have found it to be flexible and have been able to adapt Smartsheet to suit our specific business very well.

I find that the Smartsheet community is often suggesting features that would improve the experience for themselves and others. I personally would like to see Smartsheet take more of these suggestions on board and apply them in a timely manner.

Smartsheet automations have eliminated many manual tasks for us, and helped streamline our processes a lot. It allows us to track our projects, collaborate and analyse/report based on the date we put in.

What do you like best about the product?
We love the customisability to tailor Smartsheets to our needs and maintain it ourselves.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge of using Smartsheets for our business is integrating it our ERP system - this is more a reflection of the ERP system than Smartsheets though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets has revolutionised our project management by providing repeatable and reportable framework to manage our projects using Control Centre. Our Sales and Design teams have become streamlined and more efficient as a result.
Smartsheet is quite smart in its ability to keep track of everything your job requires.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how you can set up certain workflows with your Smartsheet so that when you make certain selections, it will trigger the workflow and do things such as send emails to certain parties, initiate the creation of certain documents, etc. I also really like how easy it is to learn the ins and outs of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of that I dislike about Smartsheet is the price of each license.

It is solving the problem of keeping things in order and maintained in an organized manner, which benefits the team I work for considering the number of projects we handle.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform makes it easy to build detailed project timelines, track pre-construction and construction phases, and manage consultants and deliverables in one place. The Gantt view is especially useful for visualizing complex schedules and aligning multiple stakeholders across different stages of a project.

If there’s one area for improvement, it would be more built-in reporting and visualization tools without needing add-ons
