It's highly collaborative, set up a great model for other collaboration online apps.
What do you like best about the product?
the filter is very convenient and easy to track all the statuses or add documents. The customer support is very timely. and it's intuitive and easy to use. also the customer success team is very helpful to keep me on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
somehow the notification of the smartsheet is sent to the 'other' folder of my Outlook. and that makes me miss some of them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet to consolidate the project information and that enabled us to archive info in a timely and comprehensive manner.

Colaboration of multiple users on the same sheet

Sometimes it can be difficult to work out what button does what when you are used to the layout of exel

It allows us to share sheets throughout our team and share with external users making colaboration very easy

What do you like best about the product?
Our organization initially implemented the use of Smartsheet for new project launch and tracking, however have since rolled this out as a tracking tool for a number of different internal functions due to its ease of use, collaborative nature and and automated reporting functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
One feature I wish would change is the lack of real-time updating of any given sheet. When you have the main task sheet open and someone adds a note or line item, this is not visible unless the page is refreshed. Not a major issue but have experienced times when a team member mentions a line item that is not visible to me as it has just been added. Again simply to rectify, but an issue nonetheless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alignment of multiple stakeholder and team members, easy tracking of tasks and action items as well as automated reporting of task status.
Easy & Efficient to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can share a sheet as a group & work on the same projects together. Easy to build surveys to send out and easy to complete the survey on the reciepients end.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything negative to say about Smartsheets to be honest

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is very intuitive if you are familiar with Excel. I like how the reporting features can be modified for different audiences with just a bit of tweaking and duplicating. The automation and email features make it easy to follow up on requests. Additionally, the forms feature makes it easy to keep everything in Smartsheets versus using multiple apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a huge learning curve for complex processes, and when you look for help online, there are always multiple ways to solve problems. The support staff is so helpful, but there is a cost associated with getting access to them. Definitely worth it in my opinion, but another consideration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps my team manage intakes from multiple sources and funnel it to appropriate teams. It also serves as a project management portal for all team projects and tasks.
Beneficial for Operation Tracking and Streamlining Tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Smartsheet to track large amounts of information associated with a project or task that will require breakdown of actions. It is visually appealing, easy to use, and tracks timelines efficiently to ensure the best use of the platform, and it used often for project tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be better training around using the best template to use for different tasks. It is sometimes hard to tell which template to use based on needs, it would be helpful to get tailored support to use the best template

Tracking of items and delegating tasks- understanding actions required around a specific project or issue
Staple For Our Company
What do you like best about the product?
Smarsheet is a staple for our industry and is used daily. I like that it allows you customize the platform to your needs. For examle the ease it allows to generate various types of reports. It is very user friendly and this feature is one that has been of great use to prepare data. It lends to accurtately collect, organize, and present data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The technical team has been able to assist us with everything we have needed to resolve. They have even taken the time to meet with us or concerns or issues we have had since utilizing this platform.

Smartsheet gives us a platform to work from and efficiently plan and manage projects. Saving time and allowing our team to be more resoureful.

A cool tracking tool with the ability to integrate with other tools via APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to manag and track the data in one place. Great collaboration tool which allows multiple team members to work at the same time. Excellent reporting capabilities. Ability to integrate with some other tools which allows to manage data from multiple sources. Use of APIs and workflows allows to automate data management and reporting. Use of SSO such as Microsoft Azure adds extra layer of security to manage secure access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very easy to learn as it has a steep learning curve. User interface is not intuitive and gets harder for beginners to learn and understand its features. Integration with more third party tools can be beneficial. Lacking auto-save feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using smartsheet as the source for onboarding new applicaitons to use our supported tools. We use smartsheet forms as the front end to capture the needed information from different applications which is required to onboard them. We also integrate smartsheet with a thirdparty certificate management tool to capture needed information in the smartsheet. There are also python scipts developed which allows us to keep the data updated in smartsheets from several sources.

What do you like best about the product?
The automation that Smartsheet offers is very helpful. It's easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes find it difficult to navigate, but it could be due to the way my company has it set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is tracking our realtor deals which helps me keep track of buyers and construction schedules
