What do you like best about the product?

- User Friendly UI
- Formulas that are clean + easy to understand
- Dynamic Views that allow me to break down a process into different components on the same sheet
- Data Shuttles - once set up need little to no maintenance

What do you dislike about the product?
- Graphs / Charts are somewhat limited
- Customisation of dashboards is also limited
- Can't pull metrics/formulas from reports

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Allowing us to run automatic data shuttles from Smartsheet to external Excel sheets which are used across the business
- Allows us to recreate paper based process digitially. By utilitising Dynamic View we then only allow users to touch parts of the process they have permission to
- Allows us to get weekly updates from stakeholders, where we can gather their feedback and then keep track of what they have said in the past.
- Creates a digital audit trail for our processes.

It lets you work smart, not hard.
What do you like best about the product?
with datamesh and datatable it helps you to update one database only and reflect all information set in a different way based on the teams who use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Cannot look for column header (i.e.: using ctrl+F) for teams who don't use often smartsheet and they need to put information on several cells it's not easy to orient theirself through columns.
2. Predecessors, unfortunately it's only possible to link it to row numbers and not to task name.

What do you like best about the product?
The feature I like the most is the fact that we can create data like an excel file, but we also have the opportunity to add files as attachments and comments to the lines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that we can only access it online.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to be able to organize all the information in a single place, and several people on the team can also do it simultaneously.
Smartsheet for large spreadsheet with many stakholders
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is the easiest spreadsheet for multi-users and sharing.
Column type, formatting column formula is easy to set up, and is well split between the sheet admin and users.
We use it more and more for many purpose for a large project with many stakeholders.
It's easy to integrate Smartsheet in an Excel or a Power BI.

What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is powerfull for many aspects, but it cannot fully replace an Excel. Calculation is quite basic. Charts, pivot table, multi-tab sheet could be a plus.
Also filtering and sorting column access is not user friendly.
Conditional formating has some limitations.

Best tool I have implemented in years to my organization!
What do you like best about the product?
It is so difficult to mention what I like most about it as everything I use is magical. It delivers ease to manage projects in a very simple way. The user experience is amazing and doesn't look complex with the people interacting in the tool. Behind the scene it is very sophisticated but you don't feel that when utilizing it. We started using smartsheet over 1 year ago and the implementation was super easy and the features being adapted is growing day by day. The tool is being used on a daily vasis and frequency for new adapters is growing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Some items you need to get used to when developing, but in general nothing i see is negative about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently smartsheet is solving a lot of communciation which we did on email. We can communicate more efefctively in smarthseet next to gathering and storing all needed for projects etc in 1 place. It reduces time searching for info. Furthermore we can connect multiple projects into a dashboard whcih creates great overview for management on progress.
Smartsheet ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is incredibly easy to user and particularly good for sharing documents across companies and users. It allows collaboration on worksheets and has some nice formatting and display options.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not possible to have multiple sheets within a document, so if you want seprate sheets you need mu;tiple documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of controlling and sharing documents within team members and other people.
The solution for a small company
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet brings all the tools needed to control purchasing processes, offers, invoices, customer contacts, product stock, etc. But with dashboards for example, a good financial overview, or sales overview can also be created. And everything is very flexible and can be adapted to your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the sheets are not updated properly. And when the name of a column is changed, a part of the automereng can collapse
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smarsheet provides tools to customize a management system for the company.
Positive experience with Smartsheet, but some limitations for programme level planning
What do you like best about the product?
It's an accessible and useful alternative to costly and more traditional tools, like MS Project. I like the integrations with typical office applications, and the way you can import information into it. being able to manipulate data and plans into different formats, and leveraging all the features of the tool for different methodologies is so helpful. If I'm running an agile team, there are excellent kanban boards and support for sprint planning, and if I'm leaning into a more waterfall style project i can track milestones and dependencies really easily, and assign owners to tasks, so we can collaborate within the plans to ensure we stay on track. There are some fantastic features i've not got to yet as well, and I'm excited for how flexible Smartsheet allows me to be with my project management - it's not a tool I use every day, but it's one i rely on from week to week, particularly as part of the inception of a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations - it can be difficult to get a high level view of a plan, or if you have a large programme with lots of streams of work, all interdependent on each other, it can be very challenging to create a top-down view of that. It would be useful if we could add some of our own templates for instance, or we could build the low level plan, and just select some headline tasks that you want to appear on the high level plan on a page. I'd like to be able to scale the views dynamically too - long term work can distort the scale on the plans and render it impossible to read if printed or lifted onto a slide. It would be good if we could control the text sizing, or the timeline scale when doing this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is the solution to all our communication issues. By having clear lines of responsibility and ownership over tasks there's no doubt who is accountable for the successful delivery of aspects of the project. We can then come together as a team and understand how our work in the various team silos can contribute to the bigger picture. We can track dependencies and ensure we're planning resourcing and setting stakeholder expectations accordingly. It's the weapon i use for escalation - pointing senior leaders to the plans and demonstrating where the risks or issues might be stemming from. It really is a panacea for project managers and offers unparalleled benefits.
Smartsheet for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Unlimited user collaboration. Being able to add and limit user interaction on projects has helped us to easily manage our projects and limit unneccassary meetings. We have noticed a real saving in time and expenses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Training needed for users to get used to the platform. Desktop App gets slow especially with admin panel / group management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing important information regarding projects in one central place. We can also keep track of who is using the platform and keep people accountable when we experience delays.

I really like the flexibillity that Smartsheet brings to really "fold" it to your organisation and everything you want to manage, document, automate or analyze.
Every bit of Smartsheet is quite easy to use and really easy to bend to what you need.
Besides that both the documentation, e-learning and customer support is fantastic!
You need some time to really implement it into your company, but once you really use it you really cannot go without it. Intergration on IT level is quite easy however.
My team uses Smartsheet litterly at least once every half hour for some sort of productivity.
