Smartsheet is a very handy for keeping track of work, team functions and some project management
What do you like best about the product?
Mostly relatively easy to use. It is online and very good as a collaborative tool shared intra and interteams when you want to keep track of activities, share and keep up to date of next steps out of collaborations. Or just managing a project or program.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formula use is a little bit unintuitive compared with something like excel. The program management templates aren't the best and visualisation in dashboards could be better.

Smartsheet is agregating data from multiple sources in a single sheet that is the single source of truth for each project.
My experience with Smartsheet has been smooth and easy to learn my way around.

The Schedule feature which provides a overview of the timeline of the plan and allocation of your team with filters and the ease of editing on the go in the same view the allocation and add projects to your team members

The reports part requires improvements so you can have better and more detailed insights into the allocation and invested time in projects

Requires a high level of computer literacy to fully get used to utilise most of powerful features e.g. datamesh, data shuttle.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has workflows triggering if certain conditions are met which could aumatically filling in data, send email requesting update or following up. With this, my time spent reduce by half and I could focus doing other tasks or other projects as well.

I enjoy how easy it is to construct a dashboard by producing reports and converting them into widgets; this is a really straightforward procedure that delivers a plethora of information to our worldwide employees. Smarthsheet allows you to create complicated project management timelines, user stories, and test cases, as well as gather and track customer information at scale. I enjoy how customizable it is because it allows me to personalize it to our unique needs while still giving high-quality data visualization tools like Kanban boards and Gantt charts. Because the technique is comparable enough, Excel users may rapidly learn how to use it with little training or troubleshooting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how difficult it is to add formulas to sheets; having to go to the summary area may be extremely inconvenient when you first start using the software. The primary problem I have with Smartsheet is the lack of an autosave option; when compared to other web-based programs like Google programs, this unpleasant and time-consuming need severely hampers the productivity of my workflow. If Smartsheet could incorporate an autosave option, it would significantly enhance the way I use the product.

We also offer a single repository of stakeholder information, automatic project information update requests, and a full change management and RAID solution. Smartsheet tackles the challenge of monitoring complicated assignments from several workflows by centralizing all necessary data on a single platform and arranging it in one efficient workspace, allowing me to work more efficiently with my team and cooperate on various projects.

Familiar interfaces like spreadsheets and the ability to create reports and dashboards for visualizing data utilizing different widgets that offer automation for streamlining processes which saves time. It also offers a learning center and customer support also for any queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing after the free trial starts from 14$ which is pretty much for new hires and non-profit or small-scale startups with the features provided. The connectivity between sheets for data sync is really difficult and it cannot handle too many logged in users which restrict it for big enterprises.

Integration with Zapier was easy and quick which allowed workflow automation and project tracking. It also has a well-managed and customizable notification system which helps in timely collaboration with other teams. Managing user's permissions, security, and group access is quick and simple.

What needs improvement?
It would be beneficial to enhance user-friendliness and make it less complex while maintaining its overall excellence as a product. Another area that could benefit from enhancements, is scalability features, particularly in managing the growing complexity that comes with more users.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
There have been occasional minor issues, like freezing or reports not running as efficiently as desired. I would rate it seven out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
There's definitely room for improvement when it comes to scalability. As the user count increases, it can become challenging to effectively track multiple tasks with numerous users simultaneously using the platform. I would rate it eight out of ten.
What other advice do I have?
I would recommend it as a suitable product for beginners. After the user base expands significantly, you might want to consider a different solution like QuickBase. But for those starting out with a limited number of users, it's a good choice. I would rate it eight out of ten.
A Solid System for the Price Point
What do you like best about the product?
Unification of project statuses, I really like the dashboards, which are clear and useful for senior stakeholders. It was so simple to set up (push and play really) and I think Smartsheet University and the user community are first rate. I also like that you have some functionality without a need for a license, this very cost effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the roll up information can be difficult to handle and there's something of an outlay of time to learn the system.

It gives us an opportunity to share proect timelines with stakeholders who wouldn't usually have visibility without it. They can also update their tasks and communicate within a single tool, which is helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
It is convenient for record keeping, and the cell size automatically adjusts to the inserted sentences, saving the time of manually expanding the rows; it also logs out automatically to prevent others from accidentally editing the files. Thanks to its intuitive spreadsheet-like interface, teams can easily organize and track their projects, assign tasks, and collaborate in real-time. The ability to automate workflows and integrate with other tools further enhances productivity and streamlines project management processes. The feature of attaching documents and commenting on each row creates excellent communication and visibility for all team members, making the approval process much simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback of Smartsheet is that when uploading files, it does not have the option to overwrite documents or rename them, for example, Version 2 or revised. The Smartsheet dashboard view could be more robust than its current version. The lack of widescreen viewing experience options limits its usability for display board purposes.

Help in tracking records; show the number of days used to complete a task and show that the work is being processed; with the data listed correctly, I would always know how long I have been on a particular task. Smartsheet allows for total team collaboration and communication to provide a seamless project management experience. The automation aspect of the software means that my projects can stay updated without active supervision. Smartsheet is solving the problem of the approval process, many times we don't know who has the asset or where in the process it is, Smartsheet allows the team to know where the deliverable is in the process and its status.
