Smartsheet's alert and notification system has been essential in keeping our team organized. Thanks to its assistance, we can effectively manage deadlines and tasks, leading to streamlined operations.

Finding specific information in Smartsheet reports can sometimes be challenging. The process of navigating through the reports may not always be straightforward, and there are certain limitations when it comes to customizing or modifying them.

What do you like best about the product?
Integrating Smartsheet with tools like Slack has dramatically improved our work efficiency. It eliminates the need to switch between multiple applications, we can accomplish more in less time. This seamless integration has streamlined our workflow and allowed us to focus on our tasks without any unnecessary disruptions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some team members faced challenges when using Smartsheet because they were more familiar with simpler tools. To help them adapt to the platform, offering training sessions that focus on specific features would be beneficial.

The automation capabilities of Smartsheet have significantly diminished the necessity for manual tasks in our workflow. Through features such as automatic update requests and scheduled reports, it guarantees timely completion of all tasks, thereby reducing errors and any potential delays in our projects.

What do you like best about the product?
It is an online spreadsheet that can be shared with numerous users who may use it concurrently and interactively. It's easy to learn how to use; it's great for keeping firm information that has to be accessible and modified by various people; and I enjoy the automated features. Smartsheet encourages collaboration by offering real-time updates and notifications; different team members may work on the same sheet at the same time, making it simple to exchange information, debate projects, and provide feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've lost work several times because I forgot to save manually, which I recognize is "my" fault, but I believe an auto-save tool is a requirement. While Smartsheet provides spreadsheet-like capabilities, formatting possibilities are restricted when compared to specialist spreadsheet software. It lacks extensive formatting options and modifications that applications like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets provide.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Smartsheet to track and manage numerous projects; several users may access records at the same time, rather than a single user at a time, using the program. It aids in the resolution of problems when my firm collaborates and works together; it is beneficial when someone may alter a page and I see the change instantly without saving or loading it. Smartsheet has automation tools that allow team members to automate processes, notifications, and reminders based on certain elements or situations, saving time and eliminating human effort, as well as set due dates and access them at any time. many approaches (Grid/Gantchart).

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy and quick to use. Its automation around dependencies is particularly useful, making the critical path for a project and the associated deadlines clear. If anything changes (i.e. a particular task needs to be delayed), Smartsheet also makes it very easy to update a timeline and see the flow-on effects of that change.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Smartsheet doesn't allow me to enter titles that are as long as I want, meaning that I have to abbreviate certain words or cut things out. That's the only thing I can think of that I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet makes it easy to create and share project timelines, update them if things change, and keep track of our high-level progress through the project's work.
Smartsheet Provides Collaborative Insight that my Company Relies on to Thrive.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaborative nature of Smartsheet. The teams that I work with rely on being able to identify real time changes to data and deadlines. Smartsheet gives them the insight that they need for individual projects as well as the ability to craft their own cumulative reports and analysis for all open projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet isn't very intuitive. There are so many great capabilities built in that it can be hard for someone to pick up the software and just run with it. However, with training, people seem to catch on quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us to solve inefficiencies in our scheduling and planning for projects. There are some long projects that require input and collaboration from multile teams and departments. Without Smartsheet, there would constantly be silos of work that lack visibility to interfacing teams.

it helps me plan, track and maintain my reports and projects. I can share it to everyone involved within the project which makes it easier for them to keep track their assigned task

lack of real time data updates, sometimes a autosave problem. it takes time for me to be comfortable to use it.

Helps me track, plan and manage my projects. It is also easy to access as it is in the cloud.I can share it to everyone who is involved in the project. Yes, company performance greatly increase because of these features.
Smartsheet - Project Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has improved our Projet Management processes and heled to reduce the time that we spend managing projects for many of our global customers. One of the key advantages is the ability to publish sheets and information for our customers without requiring them to create an account or log into another software. We have also started using Smartsheet to share files between our internal team, customers, and field install agents. This has reduced the need for our team to travel to many sites where we had to travel in the past.
Another key factor that has increased our reliance on Smartsheet is the use of Control Center to help bring a form of continuity to our projects. By using the Control Center product, we have been able to unify projects across multiple portfolios and roll up reporting for our Sr. Management team. Today our management team has visibility into our financials and risk items in a way that they did not in the past. This provides real time access to data so that action can be taken sooner to help reduce loss or issues for the customers.
Our team also uses Smartsheet Resource Management. We moved away from another platform and this has been a win for our project management team. Today our Project Managers have real time access into the hours being spent by the team to deliver a product. The Project Managwer can determine if too much time is being spent in one area or provide feedback to our sales team about future increases in time that is needed based on true historical evidence.

What do you dislike about the product?
One of the largest downsides that our team is experiencing with Smartsheets is the lack of reporting and interaction between Resource Management and Smartsheets. Currently Resource Management does a very good job of pulling in information from the Project Schedule and build a resource forecast. This has helped us plan for the future. What the system lacks is the ability to bring the actuals back into Smartsheet for analysis. We primarly use Resource Management as our people cost actuals on a project. To bring that information back into Smartsheets where we can track it is a manual process. We have brought some information over as reports in Resource Management, but this requires a license to review. This has caused issues as none of our customers and only a small subset of our managemnet team has a license to Resource Management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the largest issue that this has solved is the ability for our team to share information. This includes being able to develop dashboards and reports for our management team. We have been able to build out several dashboards so that they can view information at both the Macro and Micro level.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of it. Especially because I feel like version control errors do not occur in smart sheet
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot of intuitive functionality for formatting/formula changes. Used to excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage all of our KRs on smartsheets. With 100s of employees - it makes it easier for many employees to work on the same sheet at he same time.
Easy and efficient program.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can create table and they all working together and I dont have to create any rules or code to make them work together.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't used this program too long to not like something. Everytime I learn something it make even more easier for me to work with this program.
