What do you like best about the product?
Overall Smartsheet is extremely helpful for a project management and it simplifying the process of tracking tasks, boosting productivity, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the only complaint that I have about Smartsheet's is that if the spreadsheet is a very large, the page can be slightly lag.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is extremely helpful for me as a project management because it helps me manage multiply projects simultaneously by simplifying the tracking process. Smartsheet provides a wide range of customization options to tailor the smartsheet to fit my specific requirements.

Checklists and automations to remind users to complete their tasks

Occasional platform outages, lack of notification when shared a sheet that is within a folder I have access to
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to switch between grid and calendar view allows us to better show growth projections and workload to executives. Assigning tasks to users allows us to get projects completed faster.
Smartsheet Review - System Administrator and Project/Process Manager
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite features in Smartsheet is the no code automation. This has helped our team build our complex workflows in house and avoid paying additional fees through a consulting or IT firm. Additionally, the project management features within a sheet is very user friendly and helps whip up a project plan in no time. Finally, Smartsheet Forms are a huge use case for our team and are an awesome feature in Smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things in Smartsheet that definitely need inproving. First one is tricky but a lot of users complain that the Sheet features are a bit limited when it comes to formatting. For example, merge and center, or center accross distribution, these fairly simple formatting things would be a big help for presenting data in a more clear way. Additionally, Smartsheet can be a bit slow, especially for Finance focused folks who are used to a fast maneuvering Excel sheet, Smartsheet is not fast enough for speedy finance fingers. Last but definitely not least, we would eliminate a massive amount of headaches if Smartsheet could integrate with our active directory. From an admin perspective this would eliminate hours of work per week in account issues, and on top of that we have dozens of workflows that incorporate manager or CoC approvals, and this is all on us to build out and manage via formulas without the integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us most vis workflows. We have dozens of automated workflows that the team has built out and it has become a one stop shop for a lot of our operational or administrative requests/approvals.

What do you like best about the product?
First time using Smartsheet i got my head around it within a few hours,now i use it everyday. It is very easy to use, navigate and helps a lot with my daily work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the website could use a dark mode as usng it at night it is quite brigh.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All the projects/jobs my team work on are uploaded onto a sheet so everyone can simoultaniously use it and edit it. It makes team work very easy as everyone can see what is being worked or what's done and what needs to be done.

The UI workflow and features offered by Smartsheet are exceptional.

The ability to preview and open attachements in the UI without having to download them.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Game changer when it comes to progect management and team collaboration. I have tried a lot of tools, including Microsoft Planner and they fall way short in capability and usability when compared to Smartsheets!

Smooth and Seamless
What do you like best about the product?
My experience with smartsheet has been nothing but a pleasant and easy experience. I particularly enjoy the many unique features that other similar systems dont have, in partiucular, how when you are mentiuoned on a site you recieve a direct email notification, allowing me to respond and act on it quickly and efficently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of that I dont particurarly like about smart sheet is when typing in numbers in a row sometimes the number will increase by one once i press enter on it, however, this may be due to my lack of knloedge of the site, and not a fault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it helps me undertand when different works our planned in at the company on a easy to read sheet rather than our cnventional excel spreadheet. This has led to increased efficiency in the workplace and allows our clients to see our works aswell, keeping them happy.

How easy it is to share and have multiple users on the same sheet at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
how hard it is to automate equations etc between multiple sheets, unlike google docs or excel where you can add new lines and it includes it in these equations.

As we are only a small business we use it as our customer database, recording when we last contacted clients and notes on all points of contact
