I like the ease of smartsheets
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets allows me to upload any required documents right in the requisition I created.
What do you dislike about the product?
We cannot delete any uploaded documents that are there by mistake.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
piles and piles of paperwork and steps to get it signed by management.
A great product, but could so easily be awesome
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great way to collaborate across organisations on live data, particularly programmes, and registers for risk / requirements / actions etc.. What sets it apart is the auditability at sheet and even cell level, plus the ability to have chat-style conversations about individual rows, and granular access controls along with easy automation of workflows. For spreadsheets, Excel/Sheets is better; For Gantt charts, MS Projects is better; for Databases, Access is better; for Forms, many others are better. BUT, Smartsheet does a bit of all of these under one roof, and integrates them so well it is worth it. I bought it as a sharable Gantt chart tool and have grown to appreciate its much wider capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The EU server version (needed for GDPR) still doesn't have the backup or spreadsheet sync that the US server has. (There is an additional pay option for DataLink on the EU server but why is this extra when the backup and sync was part of the US fee). Many obvious improvement suggestions to the customer feedback portal don't get delivered even after a year. I particularly dislike the 'minimum 3 licenses' approach which is expensive for micro-organisations (who make up the majority of businesses). I'd rather get charged on data usage.

Effective and scalable tool to collaborate with large groups
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet provides an effective tool to collaborate and share data in our large organizational strategic planning team. The familiar spreadsheet interface makes it easy to onboard new team members and the comment and attachment features make the platform flexible enough to meet all our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the web-based platform is nice, it can be difficult to format the screen to view all of the data in a sheet. Auto formatting/view features that would change the display of the data at a click would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
The formulare tool in order to proceed QA or user interviews feedback.

What do you dislike about the product?
Seem to be super powerfull but not so easy to parameter. They could provide some templates already to adapt to my business needs or have a community like et figma or miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to see and moove the cards, personnalized fields, rows levels, task assignement.
User-friendly and more features
What do you like best about the product?
The features to change up the columns, it is great that there are multiple options and you can chose what suits your sheet and your column. It makes tracking information simple and easy and you can can share it around your team and if other need access but not edit, then you can lock certain cells/information so you do not lose information.
What do you dislike about the product?
To add names and contact details into Smartsheet can be a little cumbersome and not easy to edit. This could be streamlined better in order to easily create and design a roster that will work for you. It is a little difficult to format bulk pages or extend the calendar out to the following month if you are doing a roster sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit we are using is creating a roster for the team so everyone can view it and a way to track stats easily among the team. It is easily understandable by a varierty of different people.
Smartsheet User and Power User Experience
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user-friendly and integrates well with other platforms. For someone who is very used to using Microsoft Project, I found that Smartsheet was easier to used compared to Microsoft Project. Our company has a lot of other platforms that require us to link with Smartsheet. The process was not only seamless, but also easy to integrate. Smartsheet has not only simplified our complex program management, but also streamline our processes with their automated notification, reminders, and database formed through their templates and setting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any at the moment since I'm very happy with Smartsheet functionalities, tech support, and customer service. I really hope more people use Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To place all of our complex program management site wide into 1 system. They have simplified our processes and we used to have too many platforms that didn't quite communicate or integrate well with each other, but after we use Smartsheet we can leverage this by putting everything in Smartsheets for all of our programs-for both of our complex and smaller programs sitewide.

One setback of Smartsheet is its learning curve. With its extensive range of features, it might require substantial training to fully harness its capabilities. Despite this, the investment in learning is worthwhile, as Smartsheet's prowess in project management can greatly benefit teams seeking to optimize their processes and achieve successful outcomes.

Managing and tracking projects with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
Many people find that Smartsheet is very helpful for managing projects efficiently.The platform's automation features make been exceptionally very helpful in reducing resource-intensive workflows, making operations more flowing than our really previous solutions. In terms of user-friendliness, the learning bender was not absorb at all, making the modulation from older technologies rather smooth. The applicability of Smartsheet in too various scenarios has proven to be really versatile. It's one of those platforms where formerly you incorporate it, you question how you managed before it.
What do you dislike about the product?
In contrast, there are some aspects to consider before jumping into Smartsheet. The society sizing can create a difference, as purchasing licenses for a larger squad can become a financial weight so pretty rapidly. Additionally, spell it saves act clip in many ways, initial setup and some advanced configurations can eat up hours from your staff's schedule.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving the job of manual information tracking and multi-threaded communications by consolidating all these tasks into one program. This has lead to best transparency across quite different departments and projects. It has lifted a big load off mundane administrative chores, letting me focus on more strategic initiatives.
Easy to use and collaborate with others
What do you like best about the product?
Some of the things I like most about Smartsheet are its ability to easily share information with others on the team. It's simple leave comments and attachments when making updates to data in the sheets. Another really cool feature is being able to move data to another sheet without having to manually copy/past into it! The filter features are simple too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I create a lot of forms, and I find the character limits for column properties frustrating. It also doesn't recognize casing differences or allow part of a item to be italics/underline/bold. Those formatting options are, of course, available, but they applies to the entire item instead of just a part of it. Here's hoping they make these updates!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps with collaboration across teams, making communication simple and efficient. It's great to have all the information stored in a shared space instead of spread across several spreadsheets.
Works great for what we need
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is easy to use and quick to learn. The ability to attach files and comment on a cell is very helpful for reviewing data etc. Using a basic spreadsheet isn't as easy to utilize. Web based program makes synchronous editing much easier also.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you don't apply it to the correct problem it can be a challenge. It has limited Project Management capabilities in how we use it. At times, it can be difficult to work with when setting up forms etc. Data restriction can be a challenge at times.

Project schedules
We use it for creating requests through forms and tracking work on these tickets. It works quite well for this purpose.
