Great for tracking and reporting
What do you like best about the product?
We use the software to keep track of internal ticket requests; think of problems with a software, or creating new accounts. We also use the form feature to gather data on processes internally. The main feature we appreciate is that it can convert the data into reports and spreadsheets, but we can also see the data in real-time in different views-card or Gant. The software is also versatile in that we use it for project management; it is a great place to keep track of approved documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
We do wish you could place more than one document in a proof. We use the proof feature to approve documents at the beginning and end of a project. We also wish it had move features to do surveys
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have visiblity on projects and data, which is great! We also have one place to place the data. We also use it to keep track of requests; easy tasks and then large requests.

What do you like best about the product?
I love automation capabilities and the ability to have several sheets work together to demonstrate a project. It makes managing a large workload easy and visually appealing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that it does take quite a bit of time investment in order to understand how to use the tool and turn a vision into reality. Some things are very intuitive and some take a lot of research.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet keeps me organized and allows for seamless prioritization. Once you are fully in the tool, maintenance is low and the benefits are immense. Deadlines are not missed, there is a clear and documented plan and information is easily shared.
Ideal for complex projects
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and quick to pick up - doesnt require much further reading to set up a simple timeline with predecessors. It's very quick to set up dependencies, more so than on similar apps like Monday.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like a lot needs to be done manually and there could be better processes in place to reduce the manual input required. You can copy sections of a plan but opening out each one before copying is very timeconsuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use smartsheet to plan project timelines and share them with clients and internal teams. Without smartsheet or a similar tool I'd probably have o create Gantt charts manually in Excel.
Collaborative and organizational scheduling made easy
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it was to collaborate with others along with being able to see a clear view of tasks at hand. Assign them to others and myself quickly and easily and get the job done. We also worked in an archiving sheet to save all old projects which we can easily search between to find any project from past and present to put back into the que and get working on again.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a little learning curve in the beginning especially when you start needing a more customized solution with formulas etc. The fact that i can't have seperate days and specific time periods. Like i would like to know that a specific person is busy from 10-2pm but free the rest of the day to work on a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to setup a Kaban board and quickly move projects down a pipe through the design process, assigning people or collaboratively working with others as we go. Then once the project is completed we archive it incase it comes back or we need information from it. We also save all of the initial client markup files to the specific project and add the Sharepoint path so we easily get back to the files if revisions occur or if we are working collaboratively on a project. Everyone in the group has access to this Smartsheet and use it collectively.
Helpful tool for managing timing plans and data trackers
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using smartsheets for timings plans and data trackers and it's been very helpful in cataloguing and filtering data. Moreover, it's been handy with working out time plans - especially the "predecessors" function.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet could be improved with a more reliant auto-saving, to make sure all the progress have been saved. The current option has been tricky with the sheet edited by a few people at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets is helping create reliable and flexible timings plans. It has a solid layout that's clear and comprehensive and easily editable when the necessity strucks.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy enought to maneuver especially with Excel Experience. More stable than Excel when trying to share to many users at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited functions. Would like to see a litle more functionality similar to Excel. Such as tabs or multiple sheets available. More formulas available.

Accessabily of information to our customers.
Smartsheet works well
What do you like best about the product?
It is a good combination of highly configurable and easy to use. I am able to create some semi complex formulas and metrics while the end users are able to see what they need to and update easily without having to be able to understand the programming side.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that I don't always have the power that I would like. There are some things that are not easy to do and some of the more complex things I would like to do are not yet implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet alows us to keep all aspects of running the business in a single spot. We are able to use it for all our data and documents along with giving our clients a dashboard so that they can see real time how a project is progressing.
Overall. really great
What do you like best about the product?
Using forms, logic, and conditional formatting to automate my work has been incredibly helpful. Also, using workflow to automate communication has helped me to make sure that everyonen is on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that sometimes there is so much to learn it can be overwhelming. We have a team member who has been using it for 3 years, and what he knows how to do versus what I know how to do is sometimes daunting. Also, have forms that update current rows would be really helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending emails back and forth can be difficult to keep track off, and too often details are lost. I like that it can be our one "source of truth." I also am excited to see how our team is able to use it in client management. The creation of dashboards I think will be particuarllly helpufl.
Smartsheet - excellent!
What do you like best about the product?
We can design thie completely the way we need it for our business. The tools, linked sheets, forms, with a limited technical knowledge you can build an excellent system. We built a system that includes freight forwarding, trucking, invoicing, financial data. With the linked cells, and external input/ output via Zapier, it saves us a lot of time and money, and if customers require any agile solutions, it is easily to implements this.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing missing for us is a proper input data form. There are forms available for the sheets, but only with one column. We would rather see more colums on the forms, and a design the way we require it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can design forms and templates the way we want it, and we can share data with our customers by linking selected cells. We can tailor this to anyone's individual needs.
A good foundation software
What do you like best about the product?
This system provides us with a good basis for our business, it allows us to manage our clients and their workflows for the duration of projets and service requests and allows us to communicate with team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The features that we need to help us the most are all additional charges that is not a sustainable cost for the size of the business that we are. Therefore we have to use multiple sheets and cross sheet fomula to get the ooutcome that we require.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to communicate with our team regarding work that need completeing through automations, this saves on phonecalls or lengthy emails so is more time effective for us.
