This Planning Tool is very user friendly and very easy to learn.
What do you like best about the product?
The features like Dashboard, summary, workflow management, notifications, escalation matrix, activity log & highlight changes are really make it best among other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every time making parent row formatting in Bold, not able to calculate % completion in Baseline activities, link activity in protfolio level are some features need to be upgraded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to schedule our major capex in Smartsheet and assigning work through it to other employees. Our business team sitting at different HO locations are able to access & review these capex progress through this Smartsheet schedule as we have given them viewer access. Also we review our capex on weekly basis by applying different filters like Next Week Look ahead activities, Next One month milestone activities, Critical Path activities, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, share and create Forms. The card and grid feature with conditional formatting is amazing and email notification is icing on the cake.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack some formulaes and APIs to tranfer data to applications
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is cloud based Excel that can be shared with the team and can be even accessed over mobile phone. It has some aut-filled fields which controls the changes.

What do you like best about the product?
The best functions of Smartsheet include the easy to use layout with parent and child rows that can expand and minimise when needed, automation to send automatic emails to designated staff, and converting data into easy to read dashboards!
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet requires some good knowledge of formulas for best set up and use of the sheets functions. I had a consultant help set up the sheet I needed, therefore setting up the initial formulas, which I have been able to continue using and adjust as needed without additional support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to keep a record of our contracts, variations, milestones and deliverables. Smartsheet allows a way to record key details, key documents, and send automated email reminders. The dashboard reports also show this data in a simple visual, easy to understand when sharing with others in the organisation.

I would love to see a more user friendly interface for Smartsheet.

Smartsheet is great for project management and virtual collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that through Smartsheet multiple users can build, track and review the same worksheet at the same time. The added benefit of the start/end dates and predecessors makes it easy to change connected deadlines. Good communication from Smartshee offering support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not 100% intuitive so you really have to stop and learn features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
International collaboration on projects where we can designate responsibilities and manage deadlines across a pool of people.
A surprisingly powerful tool
What do you like best about the product?
This platform is very easy to use. The platform is very simple but powerful. I like that is has a similar feel to other familiar software and integration was easy to use. While it doesn't have all of the same features of other products, mainly the interface, it is a very surprisingly powerful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
An ability to template workflows automations to allow easy application of the same workflow to multiple sheets would be advantageous. The interface is not as 'pretty' as some other platforms I have experimented with. Not being able to change the tabs that open on the app, adding this feature would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to follow the status of project tasks in a pre-construction environment. It has helped immensley and allowed us to identify the potential delays and advise clients in a timely manner.

What do you dislike about the product?
I thoroughly enjoy using Smartsheet for its excellent collaboration features, but I would appreciate it even more if the platform incorporated multi-tabs functionality, as it would enhance organization and allow me to segment different aspects of our projects seamlessly within a single sheet.

Smartsheet has been a game-changer in simplifying our event project management. It enabled us to effortlessly coordinate tasks across the team, ensuring seamless communication and allowing us to successfully orchestrate every aspect of the event.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and organization. I like that it helps me with workflow and able to communicate with stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Help desk not getting too much one on one experience but rather getting directed to a community that doesn't respond that well to the specific use case.

What do you like best about the product?
Access, shareability and workflow. I like the ability to assign tasks to others and get reminders when things are due. I also like the ability to nest items with topic headers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is sometimes ared to get access with our Okta login. Also wish you could use more excel functions and fomulas. Header row functionality is sometimes clunky. Better to have excel like functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides an online sheet to colaborate with others and share project items and dashboards. It is also good for tracking client interactions and adding reminders to update taks.

I love the ability to share, explore and dive deep into options to make things accessible for a group or a business regarding spreadsheets, graphics, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions I wish were available were things like auto-save with some things. Also, the ability to make changes to the sheet with another active person without the page being a little offsite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HR and Financial are two areas where we have used this software to help us better navigate as a whole. It's still being worked on, but I think it's doing its best for now as a group.
